Meaning and Messages

In this case, Red Panda symbolism is reminding you to show genuine care and concern for others. In other words, the Red Panda meaning is asking you to share what you have with those in need. There are lots of people in your community who have it hard. Like the Puffin spirit animal, reach out to these individuals and touch their lives in a way they will never forget.

When this spirit animal shows up in life, it reminds you to stop relying on others to make you happy or feel good about yourself. You must learn to stand alone and create your happiness. No one should control your emotions, but you. Step up to the plate and take responsibility for how you feel.

Furthermore, like the Donkey, the Red Panda symbolism asks you to stay calm and be more gentle. Others may call you weak, but do not let that deter you. Real strength does not lie in winning fights; it is your ability to desist from acts of violence and mindless aggression when provoked.

Alternatively, the Red Panda meaning wants you to end the solitary life. Being introverted is not enough reason to completely separate yourself from others. You should know that there is no way you can thrive in this world without the support of other human beings.

Although an ancient species, the Red Panda is most closely related to Skunks, Raccoons, Badgers, Wolverines, and Weasels (coming soon).

Totem, Spirit Animal

People with the Red Panda totem have a gentle and sensitive nature. These folks are peaceful. However, they may feel things more deeply than others. When dealing with these individuals, you must be careful not to do or say anything that hurts them in any way. But if you end up offending them, they are ever forgiving.

Another impressive quality of folks with the Red Panda totem is patience. Regardless of what they are going through in life, they remain calm and wait it out. These individuals are great listeners and like to think things through. Before they act, every outcome is considered, and so it may take them more time to make decisions or complete projects.

Additionally, like the Scorpion, people with this spirit animal love the life of solitude. But being loners doesn’t mean they lack friends. These folks only prefer to have a small circle of friends. You may also find that they enjoy social interaction and can be great team players. However, too much interaction with others can be overwhelming for them.

In Shamanism, the Red Panda symbolizes the ability to see through masks. And so folks with this spirit animal may possess the uncanny ability to see and understand people for what they are.

  1. I had a dream that I was in a random house, and there was a red panda or a raccoon, I can’t tell which one because my dreams always have little light. I would feed the panda in the mornings, but one day for some reason I didn’t want it in my house anymore, so I tried to take it outside. It bit my neck though, and when I woke up I was struggling to breathe.

  2. I dreamt I bought two young red pandas from a pet store and took them home. They played with each other and my family came over and we just petted them. I never dreamt of a red panda before let alone 2 young ones.

  3. I had a dream I saw a red panda on the grass and I went up to it an sit stared to snuggle me. It was so cute

  5. I dreamed that a red panda showed up in front of my house and I tried to kill it to eat it.I ended up burning it and stuffed something inside of it sewing it up,but the panda wouldn’t die. You may feel a lot of repressed anger towards someone who is the characteristics of a red panda or has the red panda as a totem. You do not want to really hurt them, but some unconscious part of you still feels angry at them for whatever they did.
