  • I was driving home, and up ahead I saw a big black thing waddling across the street in front on me. I thought it was a raccoon, until I got closer- it was a beaver crossing the road in front of me! I pulled up slowly as he made it to the next lane, and he stopped and just turned around and looked at me, then kept walking. Weird! Is it important if a beaver crossed my path? I haven’t encountered a beaver in at least 15 years!
