Wolf Meaning and Messages

In this case, Wolf symbolism is reminding us that although we see ourselves as civilized creatures, we are still animals with a deep-seated wild spirit. In other words, Wolf meaning has arrived to teach us about our inner selves. Moreover, as we learn ourselves, we will discover our hidden power and stamina. This creature is a social and highly organized animal. There is a definite hierarchy within the pack. This species also understands the order of things and the balance of harmony and discipline. Therefore Wolf symbolism is also a reminder that our spirit seeks peace, social standing, and acceptance.

When one of these creatures is spotted alone in the wilderness, Wolf meaning symbolizes freedom. When this animal is in a pack, it represents the feeling of community. If Wolf symbolism appears to you alone or as a group, it is asking you to do the same within your own life.

An animals’ howl is primal and penetrating. The long mournful cry locates clan members. Also, to let Wolves from outside of the pack know their territorial borders. If you hear this animal howling, then the Wolf meaning is telling you to stand your ground. It is time to defend your boundaries.

Coywolf, Wolfdog

When a Coywolf (also known as the eastern coyote and woyote) makes an appearance in your life, it is a warning that you need to adapt to your current situation. Significant changes are currently required for you to restore balance in your life. On the other hand, Wolfdog is a message that you will need to balance your loyalties and your priorities more successfully.

The Wolf is so closely related to the Dog, Dingo, Jackal, Maned Wolf, Dhole, (Coming Soon), and the Coyote that their DNA is almost indistinguishable from each other. The Husky and the German Shepherd also closely resemble this animal

Wolf Totem, Spirit Animal

People with the Wolf totem can make quick and firm emotional attachments. They also know how to trust their insights into these attachments. These people prefer diplomacy and retreat over open hostility or fights. However, this is not an act of cowardice. This behavior is because of their innate wisdom. Folks with this spirit animal will often maintain a network of loyal friends and family for when the going gets tough.

Wolf totem people are competitive and will become upset when you disturb the social order. This is especially true if it happens in their own home.

People with this power animal will research before making an informed decision. However, they mustn’t hesitate too long to choose what to do. More often than not, their searching will lead them to the same conclusion that their animal intuition did in the first place.

Wolf Dream Interpretation

When you have a Wolf dream, it symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence, and pride. It means that you can keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace.

To have a white Wolf dream signifies courage and victory. Therefore, you can see the light even in your darkest hours. When the animal is black in your vision, it represents your shadow. There are characteristics of this animal that you are refusing to acknowledge or incorporate into yourself.

To dream that you kill this creature indicates a betrayal and there are secrets to be revealed. If this animal in your dream is chasing you, then it implies that you are unwilling to confront a problem that has been negatively impacting your life. Instead, you are running away from it.

To hear one of these creatures howling in your dream represents a cry for help from somebody in your waking life.

A Quick Message from Wolf along with a few other Animals

  1. I live in a place where there are not supposed to be any wolves (we have a lot of coyotes). Last week I had a chicken missing (first one in 5 years). 3 days later another one. Yesterday (it’s been 3 days since last attack) I was standing with them and trying to distract one back over the fence (4 foot chain link). When all attempts seemed to fail I noticed another one down the way so went and was successful in getting her back in. I sidetracked on my way back to the original and heard a ruckus. As I get to where she was a huge black wolf was running along the fence until it seen me and made a lot of noise bustling through the thicket to get away. It was so fast and dark that it actually looked like a shadow. The top of its back was only inches from the top of the fence. Does this mean something or do I need to keep my chickens locked up in their coop? I am beside myself on this one.

  2. My question is yesterday middle of the day I saw a black wolf running across the street threw the neighborhood ( I live in a small town lapine Oregon ,dirt roads lots of forest) , first I thought it was a black German Shepherd, but this animal was bigger then any dog I’ve ever seen and it felt like I was watching it run in slow motion, it was beautiful wolf, is there any meaning to this?

  3. Hi this morning before waking I had a dream that I was standing on a sloping countryside. No one was around me and their appeared whitish tan wolf with a few dark spots and I got the feeling he wanted me to chase after him so I did and I continue to pursue him and he ran faster and faster up a slope that never seem to end and small trees begin going by us so fast as we accelerated it looked like we were going to reach the speed of light and finally at the top of the hill and seemingly in the middle of nowhere the wolf stopped and I turn my head to the left and turned it back again and the Wolf was gone and there I was where I knew not in the middle of nowhere alone and I got the feeling there was something more to this and then I woke up. There was no fear and it seemed to me I was being asked to follow and my curiosity and anticipation was compelling

  4. I’ve had a few dreams recently about a white wolf and a dapple wolf. I can’t remember anything about the dreams, just that they were in there. Does anyone know if dapple wolves actually exist and/or what they might mean? Thanks.

  5. Hi my name is Debbie and I had a dream I was outside with other people walking around and a some walked up with a grey wolf and he seemed very friendly I tried to pet him and he grabbed my hand but not biting and when tried to pull my hand out he would not let go, I was scared and cried out for help and no one seemed to notice but then the wolf let go of my hand and was circling me as if he wanted to be friends. I wasn’t afraid at that point but I don’t know what it means.

  6. I had a dream of wolves 3 babies and a adult and I feed them and and they were okay but also cages then another cage appeared of another wolf also in a cages and locked but opened for me I feed the black wolf as well he it bite me then a sign a appeared that said you can’t escape and all the cages vanished as well as the wolves they ran into my house but we’re not able to be seen by anyone that was there besides my mother and my dog. And my dog keep trying to attack the one baby I then realiz e it must have bin the black one there wasn’t 4 baby’s so I grabbed it and tried to kill it. It then attached it self to me and every time I ripped it of it would grow back instantly and be like a strange beatle growing of my thumb nail

  7. Hi there, my name is Richard. I whould like to know what does it mean if you’ve seen a white and a black wolf in your dreams four times in a row.

    1. EspionageCookie

Reminds me of this common Native American parable actually.

“An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

You’re free to look up multiple interpretations of the story online if you like. Look up, “The Story of Two Wolves.”

  8. Hi there,My name is kim.I would realy like some insight into a rather disturbing image that i took with my phone,i had taken a selfie for a friend at work to show her that my hair realy is curly ,its a long story.i took the pic and forgot about it until i seen her at work two days later. She asked about it and we looked together and both of us couldn’t understand how in this pic im side on and the most viscous grey wolf with a piecing blue eye is climbing up on my shoulder and its mouth completely open with huge teeth ,it almost looks like its about to loung at my neck…and i can also see the whole structure of the body ribs and all.I think it also has very small bat like wings drapping. So what could this possibly mean im a little scared.

    1. EspionageCookie

Hmm, often when a clairvoyant image materializes into physical reality instead of a dream or inner vision, this simply means that the message it offers is much more important, but you interpret the symbol as similar to how you interpret a dream. I don’t sense it being an actual wolf spirit or something like that. It is more of a metaphorical message of greater importance. It seems to mean that you need to adopt more of the qualities of the wolf and the bat to get out of a serious situation. While wolves and bats are scary creatures, as symbols, they do not necessarily mean something dangerous. There are some positive meanings associated with them, and perhaps it’s time to explore it in huge depth because of how it appeared physically so vividly. It wouldn’t be enough to study them on this site, but several websites, whether from a spiritual perspective or from simply an animal biology perspective. Study everything you can about the wolf and the bat, since if you fear the creatures, it means you also fear the positive strengths they represent to the extreme.

Usually physical manifestations of visions are not really needed unless a person goes for a very, very, very long time ignoring an inner vision, intuitive gut feeling or dreams with a repetitive important message. If you don’t want certain divine forces to take such drastic messages showing you a scary image again, I say stop ignoring whatever your gut is telling you to such an excessive extreme then.

  9. Hi, my name is Melissa. Today I had a dream that I was in my room and I felt like something was watching me. When I turned around it was a white wolf. At first I ignored it and moved about my room, but then it followed me. Eventually I gave in and bent down to give it the attention it wanted, and when I did it kinda came close and nestled its head in my chest. When I looked down at it though, (finally getting a good look it) it had no eyes. The space where its eyes were supposed to be was completely blank, it was just fur. And I though I was shocked, I wasn’t scared. In fact it was at that point that I felt somewhat connected to it (it was also at that point that I became self aware that I was lucid dreaming). I don’t know what this means… but this is my first time dreaming of a wolf/wolfdog?

    1. EspionageCookie

I get a feeling this means that you’ll connect to your wild spirituality not through your eyes or sight, but with other senses. Hearing, touch, taste, smell and perhaps your sixth sense. If you are only seeing the problem of gaining a connection to spirituality with sight alone, then you’re missing something.

  10. I had a weird dream I was in a building and I saw a black wolf and it looked at me and the dream ended I its been years now but I still remember from years ago I think it was a spirit animal.

  11. Hello, I woke up this morning with a great sense of curiosity about my dream. I was in my uncle’s house back in Costa Rica, but it was our home, not his. I was outside and there was right in front of the house a mediums size tree with long and low branches. I first saw colorful love birds hanging out on the tree and then they flew away. I was calling my sister, my fraternal twin sister, to come and see them and then white cats started climbing the trees and they just sat there. They were all sorts of white cats. It was very calming and majestic to look at. At the same time, I was in disbelief that this was real life as there were probably over 20-30 white cats. Then, we saw on the ground a little kitten half black and half white going inside the house. My sister chased it and finally caught him. He was sweet and cuddly. I went back outside to keep looking at the cats and then there was this white wolf. A neighbor said to us to put him on a leash because he was gonna bite someone. The wolf was protective of me and my sister. He was not animal that you would pet, at least I didn’t feel I could do that, if that makes sense, he was more of a protector. The cats didn’t mind him and he didn’t mind the cats. I woke up and was holding my amethyst tightly on my left hand. I usually put it under my pillow.

  12. Now i got one, it was a dream. With explaination that mine was a shadowed out werewolf carrying a crossbow around dusk. It was standing in the driveway when i had met it. But me being curious and afraid at the same time i tried to pursue it. It turned around and had started running away but wasnt looking back. I had chased it for a good 20 to 30 yards before my panting woke me up. I had put so much effort to wanting to know that it woke me up.

When I was 13 or 14 years old I had a worse dream. That is the scariest dream I’ve ever dreamed of. In my dream I was being chase by tons of zombies, it looks like real. I was really trying to escape the zombies and unexpectedly my eyes were opened by their own and I realize that was just a dream. I sat from my bed and right in front of my eyes I saw a small *really small black wolf (not as small as rat).
I shouted “Mom!!!!!, Mom!!!!!”, and I try to shake my brother beside me sleeping but no one wakes up. I shouted really loud that makes the small wolf look at me many times (it looks like the wolf didn’t expect me to wake up in my dream. And that thing just stayed where it is.) And after 40 seconds the small wolf just disappeared. I stayed where I am and just waited for the sun to come out
*I am sure that when I saw that small wolf I am not dreaming. I just wonder does anyone who sees this comment also experienced what I experienced.*

    1. EspionageCookie

I don’t see anything impossible about a wild animal wandering near the places where people live. It’s not like they follow rules or laws about where to go and where not to go. Yeah, it happens sometimes. Why not?

  14. Hi i’m Nevaeh for the last week i,v been having a dream, i was running through the forest ( don’t remember what i was running from) And while i was running there was a beautiful white wolf on my left and a grey/black wolf on my right, i don’t know what the message was though. And today i did “Meet your spirit animal guided meditation” and in my mind i was in a big field there was this bright yellow light around me and in the distance there was an animal not to big or small, and it was walking slowly towards me, i just stood there and watched, once it got to me i could see it was a wolf, it like nudged me, walked away a bit then looked back at me i decided to follow it, and it led me to this forest it was so beautiful and soon i opened my eye’s. That was the most amazing thing i,v experienced in my mind. I love my spirit animal it leads me when i need help and make’s me follow my instincts, and since i was 3, i would always howl and now i know why i did, they were my animal instincts.

    1. EspionageCookie

I sense this dream means that you’re being guided by the wild instincts of both the white wolf and the grey/black wolf. That both your positive emotions and negative emotions are trying to tell you something. Look inward to yourself like the independent wolf, and ask, “Why am I feeling this way?” and “How are these emotions trying to help me?” Even negative emotions can have good intentions, such as fear warning you from something dangerous, or anger defending you from someone harmful. If it is unhelpful, it will lessen if you realize what is trying to do, and if it’s helpful, you’re able to take its advice.

      Good luck.

    2. Hi Nevaeh, in future try not to include personal details such as full name and age when posting online, it is for your own safety.

    3. I have removed most of the personal details of the poster. Thanks for the heads up.

  15. Hi, when I was 14 years old I had a dream/vision of two wolves beside me. One was pure white sitting on my right side, and the other was white/black/brown on my left. The white was was sitting up and proud. The multi colored wolf was going up and down. It did not know if it should lie down or sit up. Beside the wolves, I was sitting on top of a hit called Old Baldy. The hill is located in the Sahtu region in the Northwest Territories, Canada. I am not an aboriginal and was not born in the north. I use to live in a community that had their only Shaman (whom had already passed away a few years ago). If the Shaman was still a live I would ask him what the multi color wolf ment and why it keeps moving up and down. To this day I still feel the wolf spirits close by, and I feel safe when they are there.
Just resently my youngest had her vision/dream of her animal spirit. I informed my daughter before she was 14 that an animal spirit will be coming and reveal itself when she is ready. The way she discribes the animal spirit, it sounds like a wolf that is two toned. Only one wolf she saw in her vision/dream. The wolf is half white, half black and big. But, it had a golden glow about it and she felt safe. She was able to go up to it and touch its chest. Beside this, my daughter also has a gift.

    1. I do not know how to make a normal comment so I will tell my story through replies. I had 2 dreams where a Northwestern Wolf had a large role in both of them. In 1 of them, I was being attacked by something (I do not remember what was attacking me) and a wolf came out of nowhere and defended me. The 2nd dream was about a wolf which I had to chase down (which I cannot remember the reason why) and it was in a carnival setting with large fireworks going off, it was certainly interesting. Any thoughts?

    2. EspionageCookie

I sense the white wolf sitting on your right side calm and proud meant that you needed to listen to the calm emotions inside you. Intuition is different from fear in that it is never a question or an uncertain voice. True intuition knows. This is why people often distrust their gut feeling because they can’t tell the difference. The multicolored wolf seems to be leading you to explore your darker emotions and problems, and to confront them with the bravery of the wolf. The second wolf seems very adventurous, and is trying to encourage you to try new things, to push out of your comfort zone. The first white wolf tells you to learn from what is certain from the past, and the multicolored wolf tells you to learn from exploring new activities towards the future.

  16. So I had a dream very vivid as I’m a dream walker. Most of the time I can understand my dreams pretty well but this one took me for a loop. I was in a area where there was a brick building and children were playing in the background area. Then this black thing caught my eye it looked like a small black cat but as I looked at it. The creature started to head towards me and as it got closer it got bigger. Then it took the form of a black dire wolf almost 7 feet in height and it was snarling as it approached me I yelled out to the surrounding people about a wolf in the area. But it kept creeping up closer and as it did I stood my ground till it was standing right in front of me. At this moment I noticed under it’s chin a small strip of white fur but the beast was big and the only thing I could think of was to shove my hand as far down his throat to try and grab it’s heart. And as he opened his mouth to attack I immediately dove my hand into his mouth where I felt his teeth scrap up my arm. And when it happened I woke up. Recently had a promotion at work and one of my co workers who is now a subordinate is not happy about the situation while at the same time. Getting a job offer for a great part time gig all the while I’m trying to help my wife get over an addiction and trying to patent an invention and I’m assuming all these things had alot to do with the dream but I didn’t understand till I got on here

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps this snarling large black wolf represents your addiction that you are struggling with, which is at least what my gut instinct is telling me. It seems to defeat this addiction, you need to confront the causes and events that led to it, rather than constantly escaping and trying to distract yourself from it. I believe that trying to get to its heart through the wolf’s mouth might mean trying to calm your wilder instincts causing this addiction by looking for the root cause of whatever this addiction is personally for you, which might require a lot of inner reflection, journaling, meditation and if you don’t already have one, a therapist specializing in treating addictions.

Best of luck to your struggles, Daniel. After all, addictions rarely simply is a problem just by itself, but is a way to deal with larger problems, which you are trying to escape from. Take a moment to see the big picture of your whole life’s story, and notice how other areas of life are indirectly influencing your addiction.

  17. OK so i am 12 and i have been having this dream since i was 5 it was were i was a wolf and i was running with about 6 wolfs and there was three men behind us and they were holding guns and then they started shooting the wolfs they hit a grayish wolf and he fell down then i think one of them shot another wolf and then i had this searing pain in my back and i blinked the next thing I knew i was on the ground and then i would wake up and my birth mark would start to hurt a bunch (my birth mark is on my back) i don’t really get this dream often i do think this is my past trying to reach out to me but I am not sure THX for reading.

    1. Wow, Aidan, you seem very wise for your age.

Don’t have any big messages for you, but just wanted to say I appreciated reading your comment.

(By the way, I’m 30 and still trying to figure out what wolf symbolism means 🙂 )

    2. Haliee Warnerer

I know how you feel I to believe in wolf symbolism. l believe we are something called a gyre the people that go missing, well some of them, are gyre souls meant to survive in the wild and thrive. The hunters want us for themselves because they like our strong unbreakable spirit, don’t worry neveah you’re not alone. Good luck if you need help locating your inner gyre try howling on a cliff or in the wild. try to remember your wolf name mine was Moon. Remember we are special don’t tell anybody you cant tell a single soul they could be hunters when you know a hunter is near is when you want to run as fast as you can. any piece of jewelry will help you stay secret Good luck, your fellow gyre, Hailee Warner

  18. Phoebe Moonlight

Hi! I remembered that since I was a child I always wanted to be a wolf / be apart of a wolf pack. Since then I kept thinking about a beautiful white wolf, it became me! My brain and heart kept saying I have wolf blood in my veins but I ignored it. But then suddenly, I have the urge to howl every day, everywhere I go and so I kept doing it. I acted like a wolf for the longest of my time. After I came across some weird changes of my life, I got a few headaches but eventually when i heard of a wolf howling it stopped. I was confused but maybe there’s a way that… 𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁? My grandmother only got weird bites only when next to me. My clothes were always almost torn or not worn by me. I still don’t know if it is true but I guess thanks…

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps it’s possible that you had a past life as a wolf? Research on reincarnation by Dolores Cannon has her discovering many examples of people who had past lives as animals, if you are open to that type of information. (My complete respects to your opinions if you disagree with reincarnation’s existence, though you can look up arguments or evidence of reincarnation online if you’re curious.) It might also be of interest to you to search the term “incarnated elemental,” for a possible related issue.

  19. Jerrica Crenshaw

Ok… when I was a teenager, I only remember dreaming was me being a grey wolf and hungry for these light blue crystal orbs. And the more I ate them, the stronger and powerful I became. But these orbs didn’t cut my throat as I ate them. But I got stronger and more powerful and I didn’t want to stop eating them. What could this mean possibly be trying to tell me? Thank you!

    1. Almost every night I would have a dream about wolves. My most recent is when I was as some tourist for a new forest trail and I’ve had this dream a lot. There was like a barrier if you when off the trail nobody could cross it except me and when I did I turned into a gray wolf. After I went off the trail I meant this beautiful female wolf but it was not like all the other wolfs. She had A black and purple Coat. I think I only saw her because I am currently trying to figure out my sexuality and I think I’m lesbian so that’s why I saw her, when I met her she was hurt so I picked her up and tried taking her back to the place I was before but I met two male wolves both from different packs. And whenever I have this dream More adds to the story first it was just a trail then it turned into a trail and me crossing the barrier so on and so forth but when I dreamed this Time every thing was the same except me the injured wolf and the two guys were running but from what. Just then I looked back and I saw a little thing. A spark a flame, that’s when it hit me. Forest fire. I quickly told the wolves to follow me and we barley made it out alive almost getting hit by a couple cars and a giant pig but we made it out. The three wolves went into the corner of the building while I ran and told someone to call a fire department, they looked out side and then call the police an ambulance and the firefighters but they didn’t call a vet or anything for the hurt wolf. Then I looked behind me and my sister was standing there, and she looked mad. She asked what I did wrong this and told it was my fault and I started the fire, but I told her that I didn’t start it and that I didn’t find out until sooner, but it was a half lie. I knew I led because I the fire was following me lighting everything in its path and I ignored it. After I was done talking to my sister I walked over to the injured wolf and got a emergency kit out of nowhere and heals her she was able to stand but she was still weak from whatever happened to her. I asked her what had happened and she told Me that her pack was abandoning her for apparently have a weak howl so they tried killing her but I saved her. Just then the guy I told about the fire was in farmers clothing and I’m guessing was also the guy that owned the trail. He came over with something in his hand and I don’t what it is. He yelled at the wounded female and started screaming “you useless mutt now I don’t have a trail!” He was about to her her with the weapon in his hand but I stepped firing of her reverting back into my human form and told him that it’s not right to hurt innocent animals for something they didn’t do. He gave me a look of disgust but managed the most straightest and most serious face I could managed and he walked away knowing I had taken the hit and now had blood trickling down my face. I asked the wolf if she was ok but she was importing of fear. The two male wolfs thanked me even though I was human again, but I revised there thanks because I was still thinking about the fire and how it was my fault because I knew it was there but I didn’t do anything. So I shouted in anger and in disappointment “ no! Don’t thank me it’s all my fault.” And then I slid down the wall with my hands on my face and started to cry, and it’s not normal for me to cry because I bottle my emotions all the time and and I never really open up. The two male wolfs came and laid beside me, and the injured wolf tried to walk properly but with her injuries she got nowhere so I lifted her and laid her by my feet. The one male with the all light brown coat told me mistakes are supposed to be made so we can move on, but I still felt bad, then I woke up. I was scared and sad, I still felt it was my fault even if I know it didn’t happen. Then I looked down to see my cat, not hurt at all curled up ain’t my legs, then I thought to my self “everything is going to be ok.” And then I when to the bathroom and looked about this dream and I found this website and now I’m trying to be open, and being completely honest, I can say this was helpful and I know I can share my story., knowing that people are going to hate on animals, but that is ok because there are people out there who believe in them and they believe the animals are still worth protecting. Now can someone please tell me what all this means, I was open and all of a sudden I feel so much better. And about my dream, can someone places tell me what that was about, I would like to know if you right back to these things. Also this is really long because I write a lot of stories and I type and write really Kong’s ones so it comes naturally to type really long messages even if it’s just about a dream. I try to be as honest as I can and I promise when I read trough this I can say with confidence that this writing is 100.1% true and I’m writing this at 3 in the morning and this took me a whole hour to write this so yeah I’m going back to bed soon but I’m still a little scared because I really don’t like things burning.

  20. Okay I just woke up from the weirdest dream and have tears streaming why idk I wasn’t scared or upset so idk.it took place in the woods in a church very very old church and definitely not a Christian church.this church was full of ppl ranging from family friends to ppl I know also very very bad ppl demons in human form but I could see their true forms. It was like they brought everyone their so they could feed and most of the demons where old ladies. I started confronting them telling them I know who they are but just as the action was about to start I looked out side the door to the church was wide open and pouring the snow it suddenly stopped and limping into view was a black wolf he howled and I woke up. Can anyone make since of this

    1. I do not know who is supposed to be answering these, but my interpretation is; Light blue is color of the throat chakra. possibly your strong need to speak your truth, or because you are eating the blue orbs, you are seeking more truth. truth, opens us to wisdom, so you could be wanting to absorb..(eat) understanding, hence learning, which makes you stronger in wisdom… knowledge.
to me it boils down to; you want to know more than what can be learned in schoolastic books. you are starving for information beyond the regular parameters. a more spiritual side of you is calling. Just my take. Happy Hunting, Bev

  21. I have a wolf as aspirit animal, I always loved wolves and felt a connection of some sort, I was scared and hurt at times in my life. I think I have found a spirit animal, i’ll do anything for my friends and family. I seem mean and nosocial but the truth is its just hard for me to make friends and I trust few pepole. I’m just scared, hurt and weak, on the outside I look tough, but I am weak, and afraid.

    1. I do not know who reads these I can agree with some people that I hate being alone, afraid, weak, but all my friends think that I’m so strong and tough and really I’m not. Every time I was ignored in elementary I cried myself to sleep thinking that I wouldn’t have any friends and so now I don’t really open up Also I’m the person who wrote that really long story, sorry about that. Anyway people always call me tough, I’m just a big softy who needs attention because I met a girl the day before she came to this school and ever since I introduced her to my friends they never wanted to hang out with me anymore. I feel replaced but I still have 3 friends and I do better in small groups anyway. The point to all this is your never really alone think about this, if your the person who goes to people to take there friends and family away that is like saying your going to abandoned a wolf from its pack when a wolf gets cut out or abandoned that wolf might get hurt so bad it will stave itself knowing that nobody cares then what you say go to your family because you just took away its friends. No because no friends means no family either. Someone could have a really hard time in there family and they could not be speaking then you just up and took away the only thing they might have left. Wolfs all have rolls In there pack if you take one of those roles it kills them inside and it kills a little bit of every single wolf in that pack to, so if you hurt one then that one may end up hurting others then including there used to be friends that you stole from Them. And when I say hurting I mean emotionally not fiscally. But if you keep hurting others those others can get hurt so bad that, then that sadness turns to anger and they will take that anger and take it out on everyone else. That person could of been happy but you made that week suck by being that one person. Don’t be that one person. Instead of kicking people out try to include them. Like wolfs. Instead of making them a lone wolf, raise them up and let them join the pack like they did you. Sorry it’s really long again. I get in the mood easily and we do guidance in school well not right now but when we went to school when had a counselor and she would help us and give us advise she didn’t compare anything to wolfs but I did because some of this stuff can relate to nature a lot So that is pretty much it tonight I need sleep.

  22. I had a dream that I had run into a public bathroom after a night out on the town and I was all upset and angry with these people who’s faces kept swirling my mind, They looked a lot like some characters off a show I watch but in my dream I was in a disabled toilet. my eyes were all puffy and the two characters words about something kept going through my mind and I don’t know what it was but it made me extremely upset and extremely angry. All of a sudden my eyes began glowing with an intense yellow and my teeth began becoming sharper and longer along with my nails, I was transforming into a wolf and I felt myself begin to shift like the ones on the supernatural tv shows, into full wolf form, I was halfway through transforming when I heard another girl run into the bathrooms and I knew I needed to get my shit together and that she couldn’t see me like this so I willed myself to stop and the next thing I know I had changed back and controlled my self and that’s all I remember

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps you turning into a wolf indicates that this is your totem animal. For the rest of the dream, it sounds like with the disabled bathroom — you believe that having the particular personality that comes with being like a wolf is something to be ashamed of. When you were afraid someone else would run into the bathroom, it was because you were afraid of what others think of who you really are.

  23. I had a dream, 2 girls I work with that i’m distancing myself from were in the dream but I can’t remember if they appeared before of after the wolves.

anyway, I was walking in a neighborhood and went up to this home that appeared to be having a garage sale, no one was outside to look after the items and I thought to myself “I could steal some of this if I wanted to…and then reminded myself there’s no need to put myself in the loop of bad karma” and then on the side of the house I noticed a back of white wolves, they appeared to be drinking water or maybe eating, they were just standing there, and one looked up at me and we locked eyes.

    that’s all I remember

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps locking eyes with the wolf when you were tempted to steal indicates that you need to prioritize your community or “wolf pack,” over your own individual desires. You might be becoming too much of a lone wolf, assuming that you are able to figure out everything yourself and being unable to ask help out of pride.

  24. I had a dream I was walking down a hallway with white floors and glass walls that separated the corridors. I started to turn the corner and a white wolf was right there and got into an attack stance and the eyes went from bright blue to being black with just a little blue on the inside. And it never barked nor did I hear a growl. It came at me and bit my left wrist. I screamed but didn’t hear anything come out. So I kept punching his nose until he finally let go. Then locked myself in this room with 3 people. They look at me confused as to why I burst in. Then when I went to peak out a man in a navy blue sweater was walking away from the corridor I was hiding in turning back into that same wolf. Almost as if he were looking for me. Inver bled from the wound just 3 holes on my arm from his bite and woke up still feeling the pain.

    1. My little sister, age 20 passed away from sudden arrhythmia in her sleep just over two years ago now. My dream was a few months ago where I was in a school building, it was dusk and was snowing outside. Someone said my sisters name and pointed towards the window. I didn’t look to see I just sprinted to get outside once I reached the side of the building there was a pack of white and grey wolves laying together to keep warm in the snow. In the middle of this was my sister just looking at me while I cried and stepped closer. I was standing next to them and telling her how much I’ve missed her and how much I love her. She smiled and the wolves started to stand up around me and she was riding one. We just silently walked towards a patch of trees and I stopped as they slowly walked into the forest as it got dark.
I don’t know if this really meant anything but it was a beautiful dream of my sister.

  25. I just woke from a dream so its fresh in my mind.
I dreamt of staring out at a field of wheat and barley and the sky that was full of thick clouds.
It was dusk and the sky was a deep dusty blue color, while the clouds curled up and became bigger. I could see a man in the clouds, covered in a cloak of white wolf fur, with two tails. He had his arms up in the air, and in his hands he held a tribal knife, and the other I couldnt see what he had in it, maybe was just his fist.
Then I was inside with a circle of nordic folk, all taking part in a ceremony, but I refused to do it. They were writing their defining names and signs on paper to say who they were, but I couldn’t do it because I didnt know mine.
And I kept feeling the cloud wolf man coaxing me in the back of my mind, but I dont know what he wanted me to do.
    Very interesting dream!

    1. EspionageCookie

I get the sense that this wolf man in the clouds represented the divine aspects of the wolf in calling out to you. That is, the type of moral virtues and character traits that the wolf emphasizes. If you look up the “VIA 24 Character Strengths,” for example, some that might apply to spiritual growth from the wolf’s strengths would be : Bravery, Judgment, Leadership, Perseverance, Prudence and Teamwork. It might be helpful to focus on spiritual growth through emphasizing the work on those particular character traits, or anything else you might find helpful. You can look up, “List of personal values,” for possibly more options.

    1. KATHARINE CANADAY McGAUGHEY

      Awesome 🌟 🌟
I am another person who was born a a wolf moon.
I am just been cut and hurt emotionally lately over the past month now.
Was happening to me that long ago.

  27. I just woke from a dream that was disturbing. I was in a parking lot during the day getting out of my car and walking over to a black suv vehicle I didnt recognize. I was startled to see a lone black wolf at the front of the vehicle staring intently at me, as if he had been stalking me in a not good way. I quickly got in the back seat of the suv and bent over the front seat to see if there were keys in the ignition. The wolf tried to attack from the drivers side but that window was up. I was relieved thinking I was safe as the windows were up. I eased back into the the seat just as the wolf surprised me by coming through a half opened window in the back driver side. I was scared to death as he was snarling and gnashing his teeth mere inches from my face and neck, but couldn’t get all the way in. I jerked my neck back so far it hurt just to keep him from biting me and woke up with a starle and my neck tight and jerked back in real life. Im wide awake and just cant shake the intensity of his aggression. Yikes! What could this mean?

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps this represents someone with negative wolf characteristics that is harming you in some way emotionally. Perhaps in the present, though more likely someone from the past you were not able to move on from. At least that’s what my gut instinct says.

  28. Hello,
Two days ago, my husband and I pulled into a driveway of a property we were looking at to purchase. As soon as I stepped out of our vehicle a hawk flew out of the trees at the back of the yard and very slowly soared above us (maybe 100 ft above) and landed in another tree on the neighboring (but attached) property. This struck me as very deliberate, which is not usual for me. We looked at the same property with a realtor the following day (yesterday) and last night I had a dream in which a high school acquaintance had shot and killed 2 wolves. This guy was not someone I hung out with or even particularly friends with, just had in several of my classes. He had asked me to help him skin them…not something I was eager to help with. He got the first wolf (its color did not stand out to me but seemed darker grey?) on a table and wanted to drag the second one (a silvery grey and white) closer when it suddenly appeared to struggle to its feet and scramble off. At this point we went from being in a field on the side of a hill to being in my mother’s driveway where I watched this (supposedly dead) wolf run across the street and slam into the back of a parked car in another driveway. This impact was quiye gruesome as I could see a lot of blood splatter with the impact. It laid down there and rested for a while. The school acquaintence turned his attention back to the first wolf at which point the second git to its feet and started wandering; eventually making it into my mother’s front yard (which is covered in grass…it has been a rock garden for over 30 years). A third wolf appeared and the two seemed to be attempting to mate even tho the one was severely injured. We had decided we should retreat to inside the front door in case of attack, but neither seemed aware of either of us. This third wolf did seem a bit dark, but it was a brief glimpse of it in the dream. At this point I woke up.
I should probably note that my husband and I are looking for a home that could possibly accommodatemy elderly mother also.

I felt this dream was extremely bizarre and disturbing, but I can’t seem to grasp the message of either the sighting or the dream.

    Thanks for any help.
    Dolores

Perhaps with your elderly mother, you feel like you are not being loyal to your family (wolf pack) and not doing enough for her at all. Perhaps you feel burdened by the prospects of feeling guilty that you’re not able to solve everything you can about her situation, but you have to realize that you are trying your absolute best here. At least that’s how I feel about your dream.

    2. Hello, two nights ago I had a dream that still stands out to me especially the part of the 2 wolves in it. In the dream my husband and I are driving. We come upon 3 large piles of dirt. My husband tells me he has no choice but to go through all 3 of them. Once on the other side of them, I am covered in dirt from my belly up to my neck area. I tell him i need to get the dirt off me and in a calm manner, not panic. He says as soon as he can pull over he will. I look up and two grey/white wolves are looking down at me from a rock ledge. They are very calm, it’s almost like they are smiling down at me. Since the dream, their image has continued to randomly flash in my mind. My gut tells me they have a message and I need to figure out what it means. Not sure what to think or how to process this. I did write the date and the dream down in a notebook. The next night I do not recall any of my dreams that I had which is unusual for me. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kim

  29. Whoa. I was going to search for more information on wolves and stumbled on this website. Decided to click the “generate spirit animal” button as it intrigued me and coincidently opened this page on the wolf… I guess this is my spirit animal…

  30. Dear Silken Raven: First let me say how impressed I am with your website. What a labor of love! And what a great service you are giving to people all over the world who are seeking self-knowledge through symbolism.

At first I thought I didn’t have any dreams to relate involving wolves. I wanted to talk to you about the role canines – dogs, and wolves – have played in my life, and see what you made of this for me symbolically. Then I realized I did have a dream — one which has troubled me each time I’ve had it, because I feel blocked in knowing how to interpret it. I will get to this dream in a minute. I am actually still interested in what you think about the symbolic role canines play in my life.

I’ve worked as a healer, teacher, and counselor all my adult life. Yet in many respects, I prefer the company of animals to humans. I don’t idolize them, but I do see animal consciousness existing in a spectrum with human, and I believe it is important to respect the spirit, or consciousness of an animal with whom we have a guardian relationship. Animals in need of protection have always found their way into my life at various times. The two most impactful were dogs, each of whom I rescued, and as it turned out, it’s likely neither of them would have enjoyed a full life if they had not found their way to me — their particular challenges required more careful attention than most people would be able or willing to give. The first in particular was exceptionally intelligent but also epileptic, which caused her to bite, sometimes really badly. I stuck with her in spite of everyone’s advice not to, got her condition under control, and she in turn taught me everything about the boundless canine spirit. She also literally saved my life. The second had been repeatedly rejected, was emotionally lost and complicated. With what I had learned from my first girl, it was not hard to bring her spirit back round. Patience, understanding, consistency and love that respects both the spiritual and physical nature of the creature you are caring for. Those are the keys.

I am also an environmental advocate, have studied a great deal about climate, and am a student naturalist. As more time has opened for me, I have become especially an advocate for wolves. This makes sense for me as I live in the Northern Midwest, home of the grey wolf, and our local packs in particular are the last remaining genetic seed species for all wolves of the upper United States. Wolves are controversial here: Some people really hate them, while others overly idolize them. I feel concern for the survival of wolves here because of the hate and the accompanying desire to hunt and slaughter them, but more than that, I feel a tremendous passion for these animals. They are at the heart of what true environmentalism is about: They are a keystone species in their native ranges. That means that when they are present, everything in the environment thrives. When they are gone (eliminated), things begin to fall out of balance. Their presence ultimately affects everything, including the flow of rivers.

My most cherished picture is that of a Tribal American woman kneeling by a stream with her arm around the shoulders of an adolescent wolf puppy. She is looking down lovingly at the pup, and the pup is gazing up into her eyes. In the stream you can see their reflections, and the young woman’s reflection appears as a mother wolf looking down at her pup. This picture of course connects to my feeling about caring for animals, dogs especially. It also connects to my deep feelings of purpose in being human on this Earth.

I’m wondering what you might make of all this symbolically for my self and my life. When I visited your Spirit Animal Totem Generator, I drew the “Hawk.” I am very aware that I am actively seeking new levels of meaning, purpose, and awareness in my life right now, and sometimes a reflection glimpsed in the mind of another can be invaluable. There is a saying I’ve always liked from the I Ching (the Chinese Book of Changes): “The learning of the solitary man is always one-sided.”

As to the dream(s): I have had this dream at least 4 times in the last 18 years. The first time was when I was with my first rescue dog, then at least twice while my second rescue was with me, and then again very recently when I dozed off after studying about and writing most of the day about wolves. In the dream, I am cutting off at least one of the legs of my current dog at the time. In this last recent dream, it was the leg of a wolf. There is no blood, or gore, or anything like that, but I am definitely sawing, or cutting off with a knife, one of their legs — usually a hind leg, I think. Each time I have awakened immediately in a state of startle, feeling very disturbed. I’ve never felt that I could entirely decipher this dream, perhaps in part because the idea repels me strongly. I have some ideas about it, but nothing that goes ‘clunk’ inside, if you know what I mean.

Thank you, and all the best to you.

    1. Hello SysB:
Thank you for your kind words.
Being drawn to canines, particularly dogs and wolves is part of who you are. I know that you understand this and have made this connection. However, the wolf is also the teacher and a part of you. This means that you must take action with your knowledge and teach those around you the value of the wolf in our environment. Drawing the Hawk as one of your totems is a natural connection. The Hawk is the messenger – and you should use his energy to help get your point across to everyone around you. In other words, “The teacher is the messenger.”
Your dream is also significant because you are selling yourself short. You believe that you will not be able to make an impact in protecting the wolves in your area. You feel you are disabled in some way. This is what the dream is letting you know. You need to refocus your intentions in a way that will clear any feeling of doubt as to your abilities. Join Toastmasters, take public speaking courses and get out there and talk about your passion.

    2. You’re writing is beautiful.

I very much agree with Raven’s interpretation of your dream.

When I was a child I often longed to have a rabbit’s foot. To me, this embodied the spirit of the rabbit. To hold and carry one, was to be fast and decisive.

Wolfs are know to travel extremely long distances. Perhaps this dream is giving you the power to do the same, in order to protect their safety. Nothing worth doing is ever easy, but maybe you now have the power to go the long distance to “see it through.”

  31. call this insane but I had a dream that I was driving away full speed from an avalanche with some friends, I looked out of the car and saw the snow was coming fast and then all of a sudden I saw and felt a wolf jump and grab me by my abdomen in it’s mouth and get me out of the car and carry me to the side to safety and when I looked around I saw all the wolves from Twilight, Sam was the one who got me out of the car and he placed me next to Jacob for safety, I also saw Leah, Seth, Paul, Embery, and Quil. I am still trying to figure out what seeing all of them meant.
there are even times when a white wolf with blue eyes comes to my mind for almost 4 years now and I see that wolf as myself.

    1. Hi Alicia,

I’ve read the Twilight saga, so I am familiar with the wolf pack from the series. As you know Sam is the alpha in the pack, until Breaking Dawn, where Jacob becomes alpha of his own pack (Seth and Leah leave Sam’s pack to join Jacob’s). From my perspective, it seems like Sam is meant to represent your “shadow self”, that saved you from an immediate danger (avalanche) and brought you to safety in order for you to realize that you are not alone and should not be afraid of the unknown. I am a spiritual person, and I believe that a key point in your dream is that Sam grabbed you by the abdomen, where the Solar Plexus chakra is located, this chakra is associated with ones self-confidence, personal power, responsibilities, and will power. Perhaps your shadow self is trying to show you that you have a great power dwelling within you, and you should no be afraid of your power and have confidence in yourself. Also, Sam putting you next to Jacob may be a sign that you are part of two packs that make up one big pack, meaning that you have two families that care for you deeply, and maybe you are what binds them together to make one big family. Could also be another sign that you are not alone and don’t need to do things by yourself, it’s okay to rely on your pack(s), because pack members have each others backs.
The white wolf with blue eyes maybe your “higher self”, the great spirit that dwells within all life. Perhaps it’s a sign that you maybe undergoing a spiritual awakening, and are tuning into your authentic self.
Over all I think your dream is about self mastery, learning to trust yourself and others in a deeper level, and letting go of the illusion of what you perceive reality to be. Remember when Jacob showed his wolf form to Charlie in Breaking Dawn? Or when Bella had those weird dreams/nightmares of Jacob and Sam, before she understood the truth of what Jacob really was? Yeah. Life isn’t what it seems. There’s magic, REAL magic, if one is willing to be open and honest with ones self.

Any who, I hope this helps you.

P.S. I hope my two cents/interpretation of your dream don’t offend you. My intention is to help. That’s all.

Much love and light to you. (*^u^)

I was throwing trash a big wolf came up to me he was big very close in real life I turned around very calm he would open his mouth like he want to tell me something but he couldn’t he wasn’t afraid of me my father said that they have one hair of a devil and one you could scare off to you can’t so I jumped up and I got grout and he laughed and then I felt sorry and I called him back so he could I could take him upstairs and give him some d he never came back now I feel bad because I want I really wanted to feed it I’ve always wanted a dog like that I’m Cherokee I just didn’t know what that meant but there’s somebody across the street and told me you know what that means and I said no what does it mean that you’re my life was going to change I go for the good or the bad Hugo snow for the good I always wonder what if I will ever see that dog again cuz it was like 1 in the morning please reply to me and tell me what do you think

  32. OK so i wasn’t asleep but i wasn’t really awake i just got back from smoking a bowl of the jazz cabbage and i went into my room and i started getting these idk like visions it was like flashes and i couldn’t not see them id open my eyes and the would pop up and id close my eyes theyed pop up but the flashes were of a wolf (forgot the color) and then it be its eyes and then a lady then the wolf and its eyes and then an old man with long white beard and then the wolf and its eyes again. you might think this was because of the pot but nothing like this has ever happened before

    1. EspionageCookie

Perhaps these have to do with certain archetypes, that is, common types of characters found in mythology. The goddess Artemis comes to mind as a lady related to the wolf due to her hunting skills and warrior like nature, while also being deeply respectful of the nature she hunts in. Not sure about the old man, but in relating to Greek mythology, he might represent Zeus which is my guess.

Look up “Goddess archetypes in every woman,” and “God archetypes in every man,” for possibly more info.

  33. At home with mom, (deceased) visiting. Call From Rita, my deceased spouse, sends videos and pictures of high mountainous road views asks me to meet her in Prescott. Soon I am with Rita walking a creek bed with small amount of running water and lots of bedrock. A white wolf begins to walk beside me. Rita stays several hundred feet ahead of me as I follow her. The wolf comes very close like a dog healing. Later in the dream another white wolf approaches near Rita, the wolf near me growls and seems to bite my left wrist and hand, only there is pain but no blood so it is not a bite but a firm grip and pull. I awake with my left wrist still in pain. The pain subsides after an hour or so.

  34. for the past few nights i have been dreaming of running with wolves but it wasnt in my own body it was in a wolfs body , there is also something that i was called by a chereokee cheif his name was white wolf and he gave me the name white fang but i dont get why he would give me the name white fang or why i keep dreaming of wolves but if someone can help me understand more that would be most helpful please and thank you

    1. EspionageCookie

I’m not sure if it’s relevant, but there is a classic novel by the name of “White Fang,” written by Jack London. It’s in public domain online as a free ebook if you’re curious, with the author already passed away for more than a hundred years, as copyright rules states.

  35. Every since I was a tiny child I have always seen a wolf out the corner if my eye. If I look directly at it, it disappears. But I always know it is there. Sometimes it’s a she and sometimes it is a he. Big and beautiful and I was never afraid of it until I asked my mother about it. She said it was the devil and I must never look at it or it will steal my soul. I blocked it out for many years but now I am in my 40’s and my spirit is awakening and I am reminded of the wolf. I was born in Africa into mundane white christian belief system. My heritage is my moms mother came from Canadian indian and my fathers family are finnish viking. I wonder what the wolf is and how to get it back as my soul longs for it. I have memories and yearnings for places I have never been but I clearly remember the wolf was always with me. I remember the woods and mixing herbs for medicines and being a loner but a healer always helping the sick and it was always the wolf by my side. But I live in a concrete jungle. I have dogs and horses. No wolf. No woods. I can’t even grow a veggie garden. Yet what I remember is more real to me than what I did yesterday. I miss the wolf. How do I fetch it back? What are these memories?

    1. You can take an animal communication class to expand this ability or google what it means as spirit animal.

  36. I had a dream last night that a wolf was in the area around whatever house I was in. Anytime someone would attempt to leave or come to the house or area round it, she would get extremely aggressive, defensive, vicious, and scary. No one dared to leave because they were scared for their safety because she would chase and attack anyone near. It was apparent at first, but at some point I realized it was because she had a pup, just one, and that she was being extremely protective. I also remember having to get her attention and create a diversion because she was chasing someone trying to get the house and was to attack them but I was able to get her attention to distract her long enough to allow the person she was about to attack to make it to the house. From there, I’m not entirely sure how, but she was killed because she was a danger. I don’t know by who, maybe someone reported her and they put her down, but i had the feeling that she was killed in that way. I then remembered she had that single pup who was now alone. I somehow found the pup and brought back to the house, I also don’t know it this was “home” but it felt like it. I took the pup in and whoever else was in my dream seemed hesitant but accepting. And that is as much of the dream as i can remember. I’m trying to decipher what this could all mean. I don’t remember many dreams in much detail, but this one stood out.

  37. Green nunn charles wilkes

a white wolf finds me hurt licks my wound and helps me up, what does this mean, i am cherokee indian and my spirit animal is a black wolf, i also had a dream that a white wolf came to me and 3 days later i met my girlfriend, she told me she had a dream of a black wolf approaching her and lays down at her feet.. what does all of this mean

  38. While meditating i pictured myself coming out of a .cave and into the light
An eagle met me and wanted me to follow him
He led me to a white wolf who was feeding
I clearly saw both creatures so which one do I choose
Or should I use both to guide me?

  39. I had a dream last night that I was up in some mountainous area with other people. It seems we lived there. I was standing outside the entrance to what I can only describe as my cave when I heard someone shout, ‘run!” and everybody took off. I hesitated entering my cave because I wanted to see what was causing the panic when down the slope came a huge pack of fawn coloured wolves. They split into two groups, one group chasing after those who were running and the other deciding to run past my cave. I scrambled to move out of their way and get into my cave, very fearful that they would follow me in there. But to my surprise they just swept past, with one or two of them trampling lightly over my feet. Please, what is the meaning of this dream?

  40. I just dreamt of being in a cage with a few zoo handlers waiting for another door to open before they release a white wolf, it was wild and ready to attack and got free of the handler before they could let me out but the amazing part was that when the wolf saw me, it submitted and did a reverential now. The next thing I woke up and my dogs were barking (this is the middle of the day since I sleep durig the day and work at night) and it was too early for my boyfriend to come home from work. I could have sworn that I heard a muffled male voice through the wall, but I checked our security cameras and his vehicle wasn’t there. I thought I heard another door in the house open too and the voice went away. It was just me and the dogs. When the voice went away the dogs calmed down. I contacted my boyfriend via text and he’s okay, but I checked the camera for the backyard and our tenant had let out their dog. This is all way farther than should bother my little dogs. But the dog that was let outside is a large, white, wolf-like dog. Very wild spirit. A new friend of mine had said she has a spirit companion and I believe she said it was dog-like or wolf-like in shape and the young woman I will be learning yoga from a young woman who strongly connects to wolf spirit. I had fallen asleep watching an informational video about psychic abilities too but I hear muffled voices in my house from time to time, random ringing in my ears (had my hearing checked and it was fine before) and I remember a specific moment when I was a teenager in my dad’s house of my name being whispered from the hallway outside my bedroom and there was nobody (physical, at least) that was there. My brother was the only one on the same floor of the house and he was in his room playing video games. I would get chills in that room and I had a dream of an out-of body experience watching myself sleeping and seeing a dark shadowy figure looming over me and jumping in but then I remember shaking and waking up soaked in sweat. Such strange occurrences but I wonder how the wolf relates to any of this? Any connection of a white wolf to the spirit realm?

    1. Also I work for a Native American tribe who are known as Wolf people and live rather close (perhaps a 1/2 mile away) to a sacred ground of theirs where they do a lot of ceremonies. It’s off a small park and I have walked around the park and near the sacred ground. It’s interesting to me how the wolf keeps popping up in the last couple years now. How do you know what your spirit animal is?

  41. i had a dream it was a dream but it didnt feel like a dream it felt more like a vision. im currently 13 i had the dream last night i saw a snow covered mountain i was a few yards away from the base of the mountain i was watching the mountain and out of the corner of my eye i saw a white wolf. then lightning stuck the mountain and it split the mountain but the sky was bright and didnt look like there was a storm then i woke from the dream-like vision. what could this mean?

    1. Hi Mike. Trust your instincts and feelings, the cold ones and the warm ones. Learn to see clear with an open mind, unafraid, serene as snow. The white wolf came to you and will always be by your side when you want. To be alone at times helps you to find, recognise and develop your inner strength. The mountain that splits open brings you to your human inner base and you see. Good luck, enjoy, Wilma

  42. I moved into a new house with my 2 brothers and mother after the divorce of my parents, when I woke up in the middle of the night only to see 2 wolves standing near my bed. One of them was a large black male with red eyes, and the other was smaller, white, female and had amber eyes. They stood there for about 10 minutes, just staring at me. Then they looked at each other, and disappeared. Now I am used to them, as I also see them in my dreams in a pack. They are also with me every time I leave home, and I feel safer with them around. When I see them in my dreams, i’m on an island with them around me. I’m part of the pack, and they all listen to me. the large black male is my advisor/hunting partner, and the white female watches over the pups back at the den.

  43. As I woke up I saw a wolf, sitting looking at me, with a thin black cord around its neck with a violet coloured crystal attached to it (like a necklace). I was not afraid of it, just wondered what it wanted…

    1. I write this here as it is the closet to the time I saw the wolf of my dream (that I had dreamt 8 years before). I was on sacred ground, I was a visitor, a helper from another land, at BC – wildfires. I didnt understand the dream 8 years before. I could not have imagined then that I would travel to the other side of the world and be in the midst of wildfires. As a child I wanted to visit where first Nation people had flourished and lived in harmony with forests, animals and spirit. Last year, I found myself there, and was captured by the scene I had dreamed. It was a lone white wolf staring out over us.In my dream, the wolf stopped and looked back then went on. I dont understand it, but know it somehow. I found a symbolic tree there, I saw it several times, it had twin trunks, it would be the tree a colleague kicked one if the trunks down. It was strange he did that to that tree, as there were thousands of trees. I would be grateful for any insight into these ocurrances. May the wind be with you.

  45. Okwaho, Wolf has been visiting me so much lately. Living the life that I’ve lived it sometimes easy to forget that, while I have become very good at protecting myself in the obvious ways, the ways that most people think of when they think of being able to protect yourself, that I did not survive my life, I am not surviving my life without the protection and the help of so many others. I have wonderful, patient and beautiful friends who hold me up when I can’t hold myself up, sometimes literally, who are the wolves, the protectors in my life. I often do not see that because my ego wants me to believe that I am strong. And I am. But, as the great Peacemaker taught my ancestors, no one and nothing is strong on their own. I have often felt alone. But I have never been alone. Niawen’kó:wa, thank you so much to all the Okwaho, all the friends in my life. Those who are still in this world, and those who are not. Niawen’kó:wa

  46. Okwaho, Wolf, like Okwari, Bear keeps coming back to me, which says that their message is important, and needs to be heard. In my case, Trooper, my half wolf friend, protected me when I was too weak to defend myself. Considering that I am going back out into the world today after a long illness, caused, at least in part, by my abuse as a child, I suspect Okwaho is trying to tell me that the abuse is behind me and that I am safe, whether I know that or not. I can wade into a brawl and have looked down the barrel of a gun, but facing people, largely due to my Asperger’s, terrifies me. It is good to have this message that Okwaho, and my friend Trooper, are with me.

    1. I keep having a strange dream. It’s almost like a picture of a light grey wolf with yellow eyes. And it’s just an eerie dark and deep howl. It’s been happening to me for a few weeks and I wake up in a cold sweat. Please help?

  47. Okwaho, Wolf, has many powerful meaning to me. My best friend, and my first great love, was a half Wolf, half German Shepard named Trooper. When I was badly beaten, which happened a lot when I was a kid, I would often sleep outside with Trooper. I was never more safe than when I was him.Since then I have had many encounters with Okwaho, sometimes in this world and sometimes in my dreams. I cannot think of Wolf and not think of my friend Trooper. I would often feel him near me when I felt the Black Dog, Depression, creeping up on me, or the world just seems too much. The Black Dog has been a big part of my world of late I feel this Okwaho sign as a reminder that Trooper is still with me in this difficult time.

  48. So I’ve been seeing wolves in my dreams the first time it was a white wolf with bright blue eyes standing on a pathway with trees surrounding it was fall so the leaves were orange I have no idea what it means and recently in my dreams I’ve been seeing this wolf white with blue eyes but this time she had a spiral in her chest a black one I also saw a black wolf chasing her the white wolf looked back and I saw the black wolf but his eyes they were black just black I don’t remember the setting

    1. I had a dream last night where I where I was running in the forest and I started getting faster and faster and when I looked down I was running on paws so I assume I turned into a wolf can u tell me what that means

  49. My sister Debby couldn’t say Wolf. She would say Woof. We would ask her to say Gulf and she would say Gulf, and then ask her to say Wolf and she would say Woof. I still think of her when I think of Wolf. One of my best friends when I was a kid was Wolf clan. Very powerful spirit animal. Been struggling, yet again, with some serious physical issues. Think the Wolf’s representation of endurance is telling me what I need to do. Strangely enough, wrote a story yesterday in which I talked about how I’ve always associated true endurance and strength with women. The women in my life have always been stronger and able to endure more than the men. Wolf has always been female to me. Maybe it’s time I find that strong woman essence within my own DNA.

  50. I was once home alone on a bright sunny winter day. The snow had recently fallen and I got up early before anyone else. I was living with my mother at the time. I entered the front room and just across the road in a clearing was a beautiful full grown wolf staring directly at me. We stood there for what felt like a million years and as I moved to grab a camera and turned back he was gone. I felt exilerated and scared all at once. I have never seen this wolf since.

    1. I have always seen a white wolf in my dreams, one blue eye, one green, she’s very pretty helps me through things, I have also seen butterflies while asleep and in everyday life, whether a picture that imprints itself somewhere, or an actual butterfly, or caterpillar; they bring me hope the butterflies. Confused though, do I have two, can they both be helping me? I recently heard a name when I was dreaming, and the wolf was there, said the name was Akira.

  51. Something strange happened to me too. I was in the middle of a flame & energy purification meditation, all completely relaxed, and I noticed in that state 2 wolves quietly eating my feet while looking at me. I didn’t feel scared at all, I didn’t feel pain in that state or anything. At the end of meditation I asked my guide about this and she said they represent my spirit animal. What is the wolf appearance trying to tell me? I am divorced but still very close to my ex-husband, if anything related to that (I read about a relation between wolf and family loyalty). Thanks

  52. Ive been going through a powerful spiritual awakening.
My psychic energy is evolving in leaps amd bounds.
I was told this a psychic. She also encouraged me to start reading cards…and the accuracy i have with them is overwhelming. Since my reading with Irene, everything she said is happening…
I not only sense more, but i am starting to see spirit.
Last night as i closed my eyes to go to sleep, 3 white wolves ran across my path and couldnt help but take notice.
3 is a lucky number and to see 3 of them is a sign…but what does it mean.
When it comes to dream interpretations, every aspect of your dream represents YOU and the symbols you see are for you to discover as not everyone interprets the symbols the same way…

    1. I was driving out and Wyoming heading toward Cheyenne and saw three white wolves running abreast across the road in front of me. I always wondered what the meaning of that was. I always figured it was something spiritual and good. So I believe the wolf is my spirit animal.

  53. Wolf is a powerful totem for virtually all Native tribes that I’ve known. He tells us never to lose touch with our wild self, our free self, and to trust our instincts. Our ancestors were people of the wilderness. That did not make them savages. It gave a deep love and respect of nature and of freedom.

  54. Hello.
I don’t recall how young I was when I had this dream, but it could have been sometime between the ages of 5-8… I’m 27 now. The dream starts with me sitting in my living room at the time, in an empty house. The room is arranged so the back of the couch is under a large window. The front door is to the right of the couch (if your’e sitting on the couch). To the right of the door is the entrance to the kitchen.

For some reason I turn around (kneeling on the couch now, with my elbows on the back of the couch) and part the curtains of the window to see the front entryway and an expansive lawn. At the end of the lawn I notice, and immediately lock eyes on a large black wolf. Fear overtakes me instantly so i close the blinds..

Not seconds later I curiously part the blinds again to see the wolf, still motionless and staring, but this time he is in the center of the lawn. Again I shut the blinds and again I curiously open them seconds later. He is still motionless and staring, only he’s at the edge of the lawn nearest to the pathway that leads up to the door. This time I shut the blinds and run into the kitchen in a panic. I sit on the floor with my back against the oven and hug my legs, burying my face deep into my knees.

After I regain a bit of courage I look up. The front door is visible from where I’m sitting, and it’s OPEN. Peeking around the side of the door, motionless and staring, is the wolf! I bury my face in my knees again, terrified..

One last time, I look up, and the wolf is right in front of me now. Close enough to touch. Yet, all he does is stare me down.

The dream ends abruptly after I see him that last time, always with me utterly terrified. I teared up a bit writing this actually. I love animals, and this dream in no ways left me with a negative view of wolves, but even the thought of this dream gives me the shivers. I don’t remember if it was recurring or if it happened only once, but it seemed to be associated with that house and time period of my life. For reference, my parents hated each other and had a toxic relationship throughout their marriage (and drank and did a lot of drungs to cope). That house in particular there was a lot of fighting, to the point of police being called. They didn’t divorce until I was almost in middle school. There was also a lot of negative paranormal stuff in that house… I lived with my mom, dad, sister and grandmother.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    😮

    1. this story happened when i was either 5-6. Days before i moved into my new home, i had a dream. This dream took place in the fall, orange leaves were scattered all over the place, it even covered the ground. Before i knew it, i heard a voice. i turned around and saw a black wolf with green eyes. I didn’t understand what it said, but he leaded me into the woods with no intent to kill me. I was young at the time, so i didn’t know if this was good or bad. When i woke up, i went with my mom to see the house. When we got there, i told mom; “Look, mom, that’s the house in my dream” After a little while i figured out that our old cat was buried there. Then things went for the worse, our house got infested with ants, mice were running around and we swore we saw a bear. After a while we moved out and i had forgot of that wolf dream, until the year 2015 came along. Someone tell me what this means, i am very confused.

    2. Hi kat.
      Im fascinated by your dream!
You must know with dreams, the biggest part represents YOU.
The wolf you saw…could be a spirit guide.
The feeling you felt when you woke up is important as it could indicate feelings or situations of your waking life.
If you can, go back to that dream. But before you do, envision a blanket of pure white light drapping over your body..this will protect you.
Then when you do go back, in your mind assert control of your dream and try talking to the wolf.
I wish you the best of luck.

  55. I was taking a nap while my husband was making dinner and I had the following dream: Our family was driving on a country road in our family car (Blue Mazda) and it was cloudy out. I spotted in the road in front of us four wolves laying on the ground, who appeared to be either just killed by another driver or laying down and about to be run over by our car. In my dream, I thought my husband would try not to run over them, but he proceed to just drive over the wolves like it was no big deal, their blood sputtering out from over our tires. There was a white sheet or large white paper or something ahead of us and we stained it with the wolves’ blood as we ran over the white sheet. In the dream, I said to my husband, “Oh my gosh, did you know there were wolves out here? And I thought we were safe living here, now do I need a gun?” And I woke up. I have no idea what any of this means but it concerns me deeply, so please respond. Many thanks.

  56. Well one person at a time four of family members all witnessed a spiritual black wolf with yellow eyes in a home we just moved into. Everyone in my family is spiritually gifted so seeing things is a norm in my home however my husband never hears or sees anything really, but one of my younger sons kept telling me a story of a blk smoke that would come into his room every night he say it came out of a wall in his room that lit up with a neon blue light that was big circle and the smoke would turn into a blk wolf with bright yellow eyes he said it state fore a while but eventually would stand on its hind legs and pace back and forth all night and when the sun light filled his room he left. My husbands cousin said she had seen it one night she said she came to my house to see it to see if it was good or evil she says every night angels take her to fight demons and such things every night almost that she fought with them, but through astral projection I know it’s real just have a hard time believing the other parts of her encounter even with all my life experiences would cause most to leave me in the looney in for life. However she said it must be an old ancestor trying to protect my son. We at the time lived in California we now live far from there. But the new hm was in a city called Soledad ca. The most haunted town I have ever encountered. It was our whole city I have thousands of stories and I’m serious I lived in a gated community hated it as much as I hated being attacked every day and night with my gift I knew everyone that lived in that hated community left the lights on all day all night and it was expensive to live there, every house that had children all slept in the same room at night, our house had youngsters coming in n out all the time and these kids were scared our home was more controlled than the rest anyhow spirits demons were eating up the fear by the butt loads. However then one night my husband and I got into I lil spat and I told him as he was walking out of our room when I wasn’t done talking yet so I added to him why don’t you sleep in your son’s room then and he says good I don’t wanta be in this room with u anyway. It had been maybe 10-15min when he can running in the room saying he saw something he saw bright whites of eyes in a corner wall by the closet and he started to do spiritual war fare when it flew over him and he stopped and said to it wait wait hold on he said it was huge bigger than a real wolf but stood like a werewolf but look like a real wolf that the hair was full and soft his eyes were memorizing. And he told it to leave and it resolved into smoke then mist then was gone. I was like wow I’m glad you finally seen something and for once can relate and believe us all about our experiences he went to bed next to me but that night I was having trouble sleeping so decided my hard drive needed cleaning and organization so started to go through files deleting and restoring yadayada, when I felt a large presence behind me I then started thinking in my mind ok was this the shapeshifter we had been dealing with or the doppelgänger so readied my mind for the worst and removed any fears from my body when as turning halfway around to view it on my left shoulder I feel a heavy weight of some kind lean on my left shoulder then turn my whole head instead and see this beautiful extremely large blk yellow eyed wolf looking at the computer screen that was sitting on top of my tall dresser I looked behind me to make sure that’s what it was looking at and when I looked back at him he looked in my eyes then looked at the screen again making sure he had my attention and I had just looked up yellow eyed wolf on google and so that was what he was interested in he looked back at me then made a dog sound I’m familiar with when they are curious or look and feel confused auhahand cocked his head to his right then back upright when I was taking it all in there was no evilness Felt no bad vibes at all just majesticness and noticed how long his hair was about three inches long everywhere and it was moving slow motion like and as if a fan was blowing in his faces and all his hair had slow motion movement I asked what he wanted and why he was here he then faded away the way everyone else encountered it. When this son of mine was born some impersonating nurse woman entered my room drugged me and then branded top of my hand an and A that was circled that had servers strata on the top left corner with a half moon and I think teardrops too she did something to my kid then started speaking a african dialect as she scattered blk ash all over the room and finished it in the bathroom an angel showed up threw me back in my body and told to wake up because I passed out after thenranding happened and when she scattered the ash I blacked out and was still in the room just out of my body standing to my right the angel kept forcefully insisting I got back in my body and woke but I wanted to see what the woman looked like and wanted to know what she was doing. So he told me wasn’t impossible to wake up not for me that I had to fight the strong meds to wake because it was a life and death situation and if I didn’t achieve this it would be a terrible out come as soon as I was aware I was awake but couldn’t move any part of me I could still hear her shouting her chant and finally could squeeze the already in my right hand emergency nurse call button that I grabbed as soon as this woman refused to show me her badge the nurse ran in as she ran out they both bumped each other’s shoulders as they crossed paths. The did a manual lockdown on the whole hospital because they saw my branded hand and all the blk ash everywhere but they never caught her. I know my children are special so whenever I ask what the symbols mean I’m told he’s special and to look up Egyptian symbols but I never find it today I seen part of this symbol on a tv show and so I looked it up and was informed that it’s the symbol for the black wolf so are these things connected or not

  57. I’m an empath. I dreamed of a dead wolf and out of his skins there came an opening and a great thunderbird rose up out of the wolf skin. It was bright like the sun and rays shown all around it in brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges. I was completely at peace in my dream, in awe of the sight.

    1. Your thunderbird is a Phoenix! This dream is about renewal, resurrection. Thunderbird and Phoenix are both associated with the sun. This Year 2017 is the Year of the Fire Rooster, a Phoenix. What a wondrous and powerful dream!

  58. In the fall of 2001 my family and I had just purchased a new home. We had been busy all weekend moving everything in. That following Monday I was left in the house alone. I’m in one of the back rooms that look to the woods behind the house. When I look up from what I’m doing standing there on the edge of yard is timber wolf. We just stair at each other for what seemed like a long time. I couldn’t believe what I looking at. The scariest thing to me is he wasn’t nervous. This is going to sound crazy, but it seemed special. It was special I gazed into the eyes of a wolf 20 feet away and he didn’t rip me apart. It hit me no one is going to believe this. I moved to get my camera and he was gone. I never saw him again and my kids never played outside at dusky dark. I don’t think anyone to this day believed my story. That next summer the woods behind my house were cut down for pasture. That guy had a hard time keeping cattle for first three years. Something was making a meal out of his herd. We have had dogs around us this whole time, but when the cattle was being attacked all the animals went crazy for hours. This guy finally kills what he thinks has been after his cattle. Everything should stop, it doesn’t. His cattle and horses start to die one by one not right at property line. Not far at all from where I saw the wolf. I watched a bull ram a cow in the side until it killed her right on that corner of land. When you put it all together it seems really strange. If you anyone can find meaning in all of that please share.

    1. Likely the property is cursed there are many ways it can be cursed but why is important to be able to cleanse and bless.

  59. This really happened yesterday. I saw an Alaskan Shepard wolf looking dog driving next to me on the highway. It’s owner let it stick it’s head out the window of his white mercadez benz. I was on my way to look for my missing son in another city. When I passed the car I yelled out “Hey puppy, puppy!” and the dog began to howl. In the evening I drove home and parked my car in the apartment parking lot and as I was walking up to my front door a wolf looking dog came out of no where and started wagging his tail and sniffing me. It looked exactly like a wolf so I was scared at first. He wanted to come into my apartment but it would have scared my cats so I just shut the door. What does this mean to have two wolf-looking, dog, sightings on the day I was looking for my missing son?

  60. hey very random never had this sort of dream before I was driving in a car along some road and this wolf appear in front of me on the road I don’t slow down I keep going getting faster and faster till crunch I must have run it over any ideas towards this thx.

    1. Your leaving out something your leaving out details details are important in interpretation like what car make color , where were you the hills forest desert city freeway, what’s the weather what does the sky and ground look like describe scenery etc…important to this interpretation, but can still say that You are driving away with the way you make decisions. Always rushing through life and have been careless when it came to them. It’s someone special to you and you have killed it. And either you are being warned before this happens or it’s already been done and now you’ve just realized you do care or to late to care. They tried to get your attention on matters and have made ultimatums because they’d been put in this situation where they have to take this route because they’ve tried everything else and as much as they don’t want their relationship with you to die they think it’s better than going on the way it is.

  61. Hey, I recently had a dream that a gray wolf with yellow eyes was staring at me. He was really close to me, only a few feet away. I could somehow tell he wouldn’t hurt me. He walked up to me, and I stuck my hand out. He rubbed his nose against it and playfully nipped it. Then I rubbed his head. Could someone please tell me what this means? Thanks!

  62. Lastnight, i dreamed of a lot of things but the one that stood out the most for me was when the wolf came into my dream. It was a grey small wolf looked like a beta, it was shown to me in a 3rd person view but i was the wolf. She was being wrapped by a white spirit who was talking to me and it wad a womens voice very soothing but i couldint understand what she was saying. She was harmless we both were and we were standing in a cave it was lit up by dimmed lights… Can someone please tell me what this meant?

  63. Hi there I keep on having the same dream that I’m the white wolf but the thing is I’m a dominant white well I am and I have Cubs look after thing is I’m running to this forest and it’s like it’s thousands and thousands thousands and housings of years old really weird I keep on coming back to the same dream can you help me

  64. I had a dream that a giant gray wolf was outside my front door behind my mom. It look like it wanted to bite her. I was frozen I don’t think I said anything. Then it left and my mom was saying that she wasn’t surprised about the wolves. Later on I was really clinging to her because I thought the wolf was going to kill her. I went to my room and I look outside my door and see many giant wolves walking past my front door. I ran to my mom’s room and had another dream about a completely different theme.

  65. I had a dream where a black wolf lunged at me with intent to kill, I managed to get on top of it (wolf facing me). Out of no where I a white wolf pup came and held it down and I killed the black wolf with a knife. And woke up, it’s been 3 days and I can’t get this dream out of my head. I don’t know what this dream can mean.

    1. I believe it means that you recently have been revealed some truths of yourself dealing with who you are and who you are no longer. You’re not trying to be someone your not. You have accepted your self your abilities and are ok with the things you cannot do. You shared this with someone(s) which makes you have tell someone of these truths or your realizations and forcing the idea and lie of who you were trying to be is you killing the old you portrayed to be and who you are have become now are severed and not longer can you ever be seen as that lie you were trying so hard to be. Don’t lose what you’ve learned and accepted of yourself and don’t go back to old and bad habits that do not serve a good purpose in your life or even those you love

  66. I love wolves! I had a bad night last night I had trouble breathing anyway I eventually got to sleep only to be woken by a snarling wolf inches away from my face. This was very good because as I woke, I realised I could not breath and the wolf woke me. I might not be here now if it were not for the wolf.
As a child I suffered from bad croup and woke many a time without being able to breath but always had a glass of water by my bed. Last night was the first time it did not wake me as normal.

My husband was bitten by a giant black wolf up north in Canada he was told by a shaman it was a spirit wolf and it change him he could see at night and his hearing became more acute, he has many good traits of the wolf and powerful. So wolves are special and they are magical.

  67. Last night, had a dream that a Brown bear and a wolf were playing together in my yard , the bear carried the wolf into my pool and they swam and played together, super calm and relaxed.. woke up with a big need to get some clarity

  68. I had a dream about wolves once that makes no sense to me. I was sitting on a beach at night next to a fire and turned around. Suddenly, this massive black male wolf with golden eyes was in my face. I could tell he was angry by the way he looked at me. Off to the side was a brown-gray female who was looking at me like she didn’t know if she should come near me or not. Then behind the black wolf was a white one sitting just looking happy as if he didn’t see the big black male in my face. Anyone got any helpful hints about this?

    1. it sounds like you have a conflict in life torn on which way to go maybe something to do with trust it sounds like

  69. Hello, I’m liv. Ive been having dreams about a black wolf for three weeks straight. It’s an on and off thing now and I have an animal spirit for a wolf. I’m not afraid of the wolf, I run besides himI’m wearing a white spagetting old fashion clothing back from the early 30s. Every time I dream of the wolf, Iam running besides him into the woods. That’s all I could remember. The one on and off wolf I’ve been dreaming about the same wolf, but I was in chains and about to be kill by some Indian tribe. The wolf was a man and he cover me before the idian could strike me. When the Indian tryed again, he turn into wolf form and covered me. Not sure what this is meaning. It would be a great help knowing what this could mean, thank you

  70. hi im caprice ive had a wolf dream for the past week I had a dream that I was in the woods and a shadow went around and I was scared then the shadow came at me and a white wolf with sky blue eyes jumped in front of me and touched the shadow and it changed the shadow to a black wolf with green eyes then the two wolves came towards me and the white wolf nuzzled me and I came back to my room the wolf stared at my with its blue eyes and I had the urge to stroke her so I did and I turned into a wolf I turned into a grey wolf with brown eyes then the black wolf came and cause I was a wolf I could understand the wolves now and know what they were saying then they said to me come follow us I said ok then i appeared in a meadow and I looked around and there were loads of wolves about 30 of them and then they all bowed down to me and the balck wolf and white wolf told me I am the new alpha wolf of the pack I couldn’t belive it I asked how when im actually a child this is only a dream the wolves said to me every night u will come back here and be our alpha and until u die u will become a wolf when u are dead and u will be with ur pack forever u will stay a young wolf even when ur an old lady and that is my dream and I still have them every night and I am 14 years old

    1. Dear Caprice, Please do not let your dreams of wolves upset you. Wolves are some of the most understood animals because they are so intelligent. Humans have made them out to be terrible and vicious wild animals when in fact they are very caring and loving animals. I actually was raised around wild animals and I know they mean you no harm. I believe the message they are trying to send you is that you are a very special person and you are able to see thru the darkness of the world and all of the anger that some people have in their lives. We as humans have lost our maternal instinct for nature and the beauty that is all around us. The black wolf represents the darkness in this world but the female wolves are always there to reassure you that there is always goodness behind everything and as long as you can see thru the darkness of everything that is going on in this world then you will always be protected by your spirit animal.

  71. Ok how random…just something I see on here as I began writing….

So I’m Paul and I am a wolf with wolf spirit. Funny enough my number is 7. The number to submit the equation for this reply. I was born 25th (7) 1970 That was the year of the dog. I was born in the East London area a place called…. Barking !

I see wolves a lot. I had a white wolf come close and run his head to mine recently. They’re beautiful. A friend randomly said hi and called me Wolfe. I asked why she said that and she said you always liked wolves she recalled?

I have had need to be alone to reflect on myself. I am there for the family when needed. I am able to be strong independent protecting and yet playful and fun. I have teeth too. I see I listen I learn.

I am also new here to earth. I am from Vega and there are less than 10 on earth the last time I checked from my quadrant and I am the only one awake as yet. I have no karma to play out. I am here for the change. I am a commander with my own crew and will simply pass and go into my next project after this life ends . I am an inventor and a co creator here. I love creating. I dj and remix. I am loving the abundance the universe gives and appreciate my live here. Life is precious. Iove yourselves and your lives. Keep safe. The key to all is LOVE. Stay in LOVE.
    Paul x

    1. Our planet needs more like you! Very nice reply and message to all. Once humans start understanding that the ancient knowledge of healing and abundance is all around them, then maybe this planet will start healing as ONE. Unfortunately, we create our own issues and allow the reptilian side of our minds to rule us. This is not how we are supposed to be and really need to recognize the signs that are all around us. Numbers, animal spirits, vibration of energy, colors, intuitions, sound, other spirits guides, ancient geometry, yin and yang, planetary movements, etc…all of these in combination will heal us and our planet. We just have to get past ourselves and listen to how it all works. I wish all well on their spiritual journey to learn and be open to the mystical ways that are very much in and all around us. Namaste!! –Terri

    2. Hi Paul,

I stumbled upon this site as I had a very clear vision of a golden eyed wolf come to me in meditation last night so I thought I would see what others are saying about their experiences. I can’t help but be amazed at your comment as I recently discovered that I’m from Vega as well. I would like to speak further with you, hopefully if you are still connected to this site…

  72. I once saw two grey wolves walking beside me as if they were protecting me, but when I asked my sister if she saw them she said no. Ever since every time I got scared or mad they would show up. I could touch them hear them and see them. One day I got so mad hat thy showed up and I heard them talk, well more like I could hear their thoughts telling me to come down and when I didn’t I changed. I could hear my heartbeat and everything people were saying. I woke up he nex day not remembering what happened except for feeling pain but when I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror on the ground I was a rare type of wolf a black wolf. Now I can look at a picture f one and see a random person I’ve never seen before. Then I realized that black wolves weren’t a rare species of wolves because they weren’t wolves they were people. Some were other types of “wolves” though, like siberians or timberwolves. Then I saw a picture of the skin of a black wolf but all I saw was a young boy laying dead on the table. I was devistated, scientists had skinned a boy because they didn’t understand what made us ths color. From then on I swore to do anything I could to protect wolves and now I’ not alone. I have a pack and I’m the Alpha female. I knew I was different, but now I know ow much. The Wolf is real. If you’re lucky enough to be visited by him in your dreams then join us as my pack and I try to stop all wolf killings. Or else The Wolf wasted HER time.

    1. Hi. So, I have always been big on understanding and interpreting my dreams, and last night I had a strange dream, very strange for me especially because I don’t find myself dreaming of close encounters with animals very often. I was with some people my age (20’s) and things were a bit blurry, I wasn’t fully sure where I was or who the people were, but they seemed friendly and acquaintance or colleague related. Anyway, there were some cub noises, so I knelt down and was greeted by a few (could have been 2, 3 or 4) white wolf cubs. They played very excitedly around me, jumping around my knee’s, and I started to laugh and feel giddy and pet them. It was unbelievable how soft and lifelike they were. Then, looking up, I was greeted by the white wolf mother. I remember how pleased and almost impressed the people around me were. It felt strangely familiar to pet her. She licked my cheek and face softly and I remember cupping her cheeks in my hand and stroking her fur down till her neck, her eyes even closed softly. She suddenly turned playful, nudging me in the chest while I laughed and I fell back, still cuddling with her while she collapsed ontop of me, panting happily while the cubs jumped and bounced around, playing with eachother. So, I had a bit of a bad dream, certainly not a nightmare after that about some burglers, nothing that had any bad feelings projected, because when I woke up I felt touched and light in my chest from the wolf dream, the first in a loooong time. Some clarity on why and for what reason and what to do about it would be great though

    2. I had a red wolf come right up to my door. It looked around and right inside . then just slowly walked away. My son even got up and went to the door . the wolf wasn’t scared it was so adorable.

  73. i had a dream that a black wolf came though our window and my wife and i kept shooting it and it didn’t die but it brought us a little blond haired girl that was hungry and i asked her where her parents were and she told me the were skeletons. can anyone help us with this it is scaring my wife sence we have three little kids

    1. I’ve spent a good amount of time on dream interpretation books, websites and professionals, and I can assure you the symbolism of the dream shouldn’t be taken too negatively. One of the most important things, death usually means rebirth, and dreaming of a small child usually represents your inner child. The fact that the wolf was not aggressive and brought you an infant is what is important. You may be at a point in life where a different side of yourself is required that you are not accustomed to. The black wolf being a shadow of yourself can be important aswel, shooting at it can represent the way you feel about embracing childish or innocent anpects of yourself. One of the saddest things we lose as we grow up is our childish innocence. Focus on your family, your self and what emotions have been required of you recently. Your subconcious mind may have associated the dream as a nightmare, which could be why the wolf spoke of the skeletons. But as I said, from what I have learnt, that can more likely mean there is a piece of yourself you need to let go, a skeleton in your closet you need to get rid of, and embrace a new aspect or part of yourself that is required to “feed” your innocence and younger self. Goodluck though, and don’t be frightened. Wolves are protectors, of their self and their pack. He brought you a message above anything else.

  74. I have been reading alot of stories here and im intrigued ….My fathers side have always been intuitive or have a special awareness of things around them…my father was a spirit writer and his mother was gifted also…i have nieces and grand kids that are gifted also…my father said he was an Indian chief in a past life and family’s travel together. But i am deeply drawn to the wolf….defender, protector, hunter gatherer, leader of my pack, hurt one and be bit… I walk alone, follow my own path and do my own things they way my intuition tells me…Im a great people reader and can tell one that shouldnt be trusted in a heart beat…i love hard and and willing to help anyone in need. I just cant wrap my head around the blue wolf tho…drives me crazy at times….i have seen the same number for years and wonder why that number… I could really use some help sorting things out and getting info on WHY????? I have dreams that im always trying to get away or out!!! cant see my body or who or what i am…all i know is that every window or door leads to another place…never free in the open to excape…I rely on my gut instinct and can feel when something isnt right…..i have a fascination with trees….I free handed a tree of life on one whole wall in my home…and i paint them quite often….thank you for listening 😀

    1. I can’t answer your questions as to why, I wish I could, but i find it interesting what you said about being intuitive. I do what my intuition tells me (for the most part, sometimes I don’t listen and that gets me in trouble, and when I was in my teens I wouldn’t listen at all, which spelled big trouble). When I was around 25 I started knowing things without knowing how (I did before, but the feelings weren’t that strong and I didn’t pay attention). The knowing, though, became stronger and stronger. I’m the same with people…I know when they can be trusted or not. One of my favorite sayings is ” just because I don’t say anything, doesn’t mean I don’t know.” I know what people are up to, but don’t say anything and just sit back and watch how they play things out. I love hard and will help anyone in need too. I too can feel when something isn’t right. As far as dreaming about the black or grey wolves, it’s always that either something bad is happening, or something bad is going to happen. Sometimes I know what they’re warning me of, but sometimes I haven’t a clue and it drives me crazy as well. Why did I get bit in that one dream? I never have before. Why did I finally see a white wolf in my dream and why was it being playful? I had another dream that I didn’t mention that had a white wolf in it right after. After thinking that it was so cool that I finally saw a white wolf in my dream and it was being playful, after dreaming of wolves for over 20 yrs., this time the white wolf was chasing me down just like the black and grey wolves do and I don’t know what that means.

My mother just passed away Sunday and I haven’t dreamed of anything, that I know of, at all. No wolves and I always dream of them. It’s odd.

I wonder though, since you mentioned it, how many of us are intuitive in one way or another? How many of us have a special awareness of things around us?… since it seems, from what I’m picking up on, quite a few people who’ve commented seem to.

    2. Hi Coleen

When our lives are surrounded by what your is , we tend to not be balanced ,, what I say here is nothing to do with dreams ,, you like many of us are gifted , I see that your happiness is not what it should be and the pain is winning , you need to get back to truly believing with joy in your heart ..I’ve been trying to find that balance for yrs Myself. To be fascinated by the things we cannot always be around will equal imbalance in our lives .. You need to free this prison your buried in and the way to do this is balance ,,, find life again , don’t live in the spirit world Hun . I’ve done it myself and you will get stuck there due to there’s always somthing to try and understand .the one thing here just like what your dreams are telling you the same thing ,, your stuck ,, open your eyes and see it is the only prob ,,
P.S we only chose our reality and you walk alone like I did until I chose to walk with others ,, knowing you can walk alone is good but like another said ,, just because we can doesn’t mean we should..
I hope you find that this helps you ,, if you wants to speak contact me directly ..

    3. Hi again Coleen
Srry maybe I shouldn’t have done that but I
Was being directed ,, I am as they say gifted too,, it had to be said ,, otherwise your dream the blue wolf ,, symbolism is the same , it saying that you have a desire to get away , to escape .. Please contact me directly I can explain a lot more ..
      Cheers

  75. Ok, so back when I was 11, I had a sudden interest in wolves. I don’t know why, it just came upon me one day. Since then I’ve just loved them, I just see them as beautiful and mysterious. Is there a reason why this happened?

  76. Is it ok when u saw a very big white wolf, yes! very big maybe have same height (162cm) with me or even taller. He look at me with sharp yet kind clear blue sky orbs. And I just run to him and hug him tight, like he was a long lost friend Im looking this whole time. I wonder why is that, can anyonr tell me? Im confused

    1. Veronika,
Does the wolf remind you of a friend that you have not seen in ages ?
That maybe the answer to your dream. If it helps I saw in a dream wolves with the same fur color of my friend’s hair and I have not seen her in forever. Does that help you because I hope it did help you in some sorta way

I went outside to get some wood and their was snow covering the ground as i stepped off the porch and my foot hit the snow i looked and it was like i was on top of a mountain with snow everywhere it was dark with a full moon! as i walked my hands and feet were cold and felt wet like i was walking on the snow with paws. Then i seen a white wolf with piercing clear blue eyes my senses heightened i could hear and smell so much more than before. I wonder if we seen the same wolf ??

    3. A white wolf showed up at our home the day my brother died. It howled at the corners of our home until the day we buried my brother. We had never seen this animal before or have we seen it since.

  77. Hi! I’m Megan. I have a wolf spirit that my aunt has told that she, which the name Moon keeps coming up, is black with white stripes and icy blue eyes. She sometimes show herself to me in my dreans but never in my life out of them. Is the a way to see her without having to dream?

  78. I just had a dream recently that i was running through the forest and a lone grey wolf came out of nowhere and started to run with me and we ran together for a little while then we came upon a water fall a the wolf ponced on me and pushed me into the river bellow the water fall and then jumped after me i swam to the bank and it fallowed and then proceeded to play with me and then it was gone just as soon as it arrived. ❓ ❗ any insight that could help me understand this would truly help

Yesterday I was sitting on my bed and had a vision of a white she-wolf with big green eyes , who turned and looked at me. I realized that I was she and then the vision vanished. No, I do not drink nor do I do drugs. This is why I am scrolling down this website, looking doe an interpretation to this vision. I love animals and have put my life and safety on hold to save one.

  80. I’ve had dreams about wolves for over 20 yrs. now. I have Cherokee blood in me, though not much, but was told by a psychic that the wolf was my spirit animal. I’ve always had dreams that wolves were chasing or after me, but not in a good way. This always happens at a time right before or during something bad happening in my life. Without my saying so, the psychic told me that and she was right. She said they were warning me and that always seems to be true. These wolves are always black or grey.

Last night I had my first dream about a white wolf however. I walking alone down a country road and was confronted by a grey wolf. I had the feeling the rest of the pack was behind me and that they were also grey. The one grey wolf that was in front of me was walking up to me in an unfriendly way, staring me dead in the eyes, then ran up to me and bit me. I’ve never been bitten by a wolf in a dream. The wolf then laid down and I laid down too, but like a canid would, with my head on my wrists, and growled menacingly at it. It growled at first too, but then whined, rolled on it’s side and submitted to me. Wolves have never laid down, whined or submitted to me in a dream. I then stood up and a white wolf was walking toward me in the same manner the grey wolf was. I’ve never, ever dreamed about a white wolf before. When it got up to me it rolled on it’s side and began whining like the first wolf did. It’s facial expression changed to a playful one and it started pawing at me. Then the wolves were gone.

There were lions in the dream too. I’ve never before dreamed about lions either. I had climbed a tree and was witnessing all of this. For some strange reason, people were riding them and others were shooting at the people on them. If the person was shot and fell off, the lion would attack the person that was riding it and fell. The dream then switched to something else, but I can’t remember what.

I had gotten up a couple of times to use the bathroom during this dream and fell back into it when I fell back to sleep.

I have no idea what any of this means. As I said, after dreaming of grey or black wolves chasing or after me for over 20 yrs., I’ve never dreamed of being bitten by a wolf, wolves laying down or submitting to me, a wolf being playful and pawing at me, a white wolf or lions. The white wolf is what stands out the most to me for some reason though.

  81. I have dreams about a wolf he stood next to me after a fight with humans and animals i looked away from him and when i looked back he changed to a werewolf (like my visions when im alone) and i felt calm. I know it was just a dream it wont really happen.

  82. I had native american bone reader (phsychic) come to my house to do readings today. I pulled a wolf card, which she explained that I have a strong wolf watching over me and that he is going to be gifting me two feathers soon. can anyone tell me what the significance or symbolism of the feathers are, or would it be a personal gift that only i would recognize? I didnt get a chance to ask her to elaborate on it. also, it seemed to click only after i went back an listened to the recording that the last several weeks, I have been hearing a howl so loud that I swear there is a coyote in my yard. i have even went outside expecting to see a coyote or stray dog in my yard. my husband heard it so loud one night that he heard it over the tv. Im sensing that this is the wolf spirit….and trying to figure out what the significance of hearing his howling is.

  83. Throughout my life I’ve had many dreams of me running next to a wolf and I turn around and something’s chasing me, what does this mean, I’ve had it about 23 times. ❓

  84. 😳 ever since I was little I always have loved animals I feel like I don’t fit in.When ever I went to sleep I kept dreaming I was a gray wolf and there was always a black and white wolf looking at each other then they would turn away and walk away but the black one would look back.i always wake up in a cold sweat.

  85. I didn’t have a dream or a day dream about a wolf. I saw one that wasn’t there. I standing in my home and looked to my side and i saw a large (larger than your normal wolf) black wolf with yellow eyes just looking at me and then it was gone. It didn’t say anything or move but I had a very deep feeling of fear and I was very uncomfortable long after the encounter. what does this mean? W 😎 ❓ as there a message behind seeing it?

  86. Throughout my life I have had several dreams of wolves, one of these dreams were reoccurring and has had an affect on me to this day because I cannot come up with an explanation or meaning. My dream always was part of a multiple cycle of dreams. I would dream of flipping through an old book, the pages were sky blue and the story was of Indians on a hunt of a pack of wolves. Every character of this story was drawn in black outline with white coloring and shades of gray. I had this same dream over and over when I was 4 years old.
As I grew older this dream seemed to go away but was presented to me in a different point of view when I was about 12. I was running from a pack, trying to escape from a sure mauling but I found a thicket to hide in. But the pack found me. Instead of mauling me, they gathered around me an sit calmly in a circle.
7 years later I was outside my girlfriends house and we both see a lone wolf walking down the street,in Indiana, it stops and stares at me, right in front of me. I sent my girlfriend in the house to get food. The wolf came up and ate right out of my hand and then ran off and was gone. Not sure how to interpret..

  87. about two years ago I was coming from san Antonio to my home in Cuero. I was with my cousin and his gf. my cousin and I were smoking pot and already were in the clouds heading to the moon before we left sa. I was in the back seat. from the time we left sa and it became country land and trees a big black wolf was following me. it kept pace with the car and never took its eyes of me. it would weave in and out the trees and bushes like a silk scarf blowing in the wind. I know I was high but I’ve never seen anything like that and I was having a bad trip. a few days after that I dreamed I was in the desert and there was this old tore up abandoned building. there was a doorway and inside the doorway there was a chair that was placed in front of a steel bar door like the ones used in older jails. there was a man laying one a single size bed in the corner of the cell. I sat down and asked what am I doing here. the man sat up and looked me strait in the eyes. he had the same look and stare as the black wolf I saw. he said, don’t worry, your about to wake up, will finish this latter. and soon as he said that I shit you not I woke up. I think about that all the damn time. if anyone reads this and knows anything about dreams and meanings please get with me. its Avery interesting subject that id love to learn more about.

  88. A long time ago, a wolf showed up on my doorstep. She didn’t seem afraid of me, maybe just wary. She looked lost and hungry so I set out food for her. I sat quietly on the steps as she ate. When she was full, she sighed and sat quietly. I stayed quiet on the steps of the porch giving her room if she decided it was time for her to leave. I spoke quietly to her and asked her if she needed a friend. At the time, I sure could have used one. Eventually, she drew near and sat quietly beside me. After a good half hour I showed her my hand and asked if I could touch her. She gazed at me with those huge, golden eyes and let my hand draw near until I could touch her thick coat. I didn’t press her any further.

Soon I went inside and brought her water; she was still there on the front porch. She drank gratefully, sighed again, then lay down and slept like she’d been weary forever. She was there the next day and the next; we became fast friends. She followed me everywhere I went. I became kind of a legend in the neighborhood. I could walk anywhere, any time with her by my side and no one would think of harming me. I think someone may have captured her as a pup and raised her but you could tell she had had a rough life until she found me. She was so wise, so loyal, so greatly intelligent, and so very, very loving. It seems we were meant to find one another; two souls who had been through some hell and would be grateful for a quiet and gentle friend. That was a long time ago but I still miss her terribly.

Wolf has appeared to me in sendings many times throughout my life, usually when I was being spiritually or physically assailed. Right now I’m going through a hard time at work. I had a horrible nightmare the other night, that I was being made fun of and cussed by a boss, saying horrible things that simply weren’t true, just in an effort to steal my spirit. A wolf (not my Lady Viva) appeared and led me away from the abusive figure in my dream. I could feel the concern and the protectiveness in her spirit. Once the bad part of the vision faded, she turned to me one last time, blinked her golden eyes and was gone. I awoke right away feeling that there was a protector still present. I don’t know who the protector was; it didn’t “feel” like Lady Viva but I was grateful for her protection and rescue from whatever untoward spirit was trying to steal mine.

Yesterday when I was in the yard, there were calls from nearby woodpeckers. They’re almost never in my yard. (It’s two acres with lots of trees.) They stay mostly in the woods. No matter where I went, there was at least one woodpecker calling and calling just out of eyesight, only feet away. The hawk who rules this area also called and called.

It seems there’s a confluence of Good afoot. After my soul-mate died almost four years ago life has been very hard. Half of my soul was torn away at once and has never recovered.. I’ve been asking Spirit and my guides for some kind of relief. Between the stress of grief and the career cost of being a full-time caregiver twice in a row, my spirit is exhausted and my body is tired beyond belief. It seems that guides are trying to assure me that I’ve been protected and watched over all along but better things await. I’m not sure what it all means taken together; something is changing, that’s for sure.

I’d love input from anyone more aware and knowledgeable than I am.

    1. That is a very intriguing series of events, Bill. After I collect my thoughts I will share any insights that come to me. I feel like animals are huge messengers for me as well! Take care ??

    2. Hello, Bill! After considering this over the past few days I’ve decided it’s better to ask what impressions YOU have in regards to the meaning behind all of this. Wolf medicine is all about instinct. What first impressions did you have when seeing/hearing these animals? What are your instincts telling you is afoot? And I do agree that you have a protective spirit around you/connecting with you in the astral realm. I too sometimes have dreams where my twin flame gives me messages, there is so much more to the dream world than meets the eye! Especially dreams where you wake up and still feel that person’s presence with you. Trust yourself and what your heart is telling you. You have all the answers within. 🙂 I would love to discuss the insights you uncover further if you so desire. Much love to you. 🙂 And I would also like to express my heartfelt condolences to you in regards to the loss of your soulmate. I can only imagine the pain you’ve been through…but remember this…when something or someone dies in your life it is creating space for newness to enter. I too have had a good few years of soul-crushing pain but things are looking up now. And may I ask if the name Viva is a nickname for Vivian? I kept getting that name popping into my head out of nowhere a few days back and thought it might be connected to your post.

  89. 2 years ago i had a dream about black wolves with glowing white eyes fighting these demon like creature at the cemetry at the end of my road this was a few days after seeing to glowing white eye like orbs in the woods i felt paranoid for about to months then yesturday i say the orbs again but by the river and i had a dream about 1 black wolf with glowing white eyes and i feel uneasy and bad things usually occur after these dreams. what does this mean ???

  90. Hello. Don’t know if anyone checks this anymore. .. but through a meditative state yesterday I saw a wolf sitting there beside what I saw as a shadowy figure. It looked sad… abused even and it looked as though the shadowy figure was holding down its beak to keep the mouth closed. It hit me so strongly emotionally that it made me jump. An almost electric feeling. What could this mean?
I’m thinking I may have demons that are not only holding me back but are holding the spirit animals back because I’ve been pushing everyone away… I really don’t know though. Any insight would be great.

  91. When i was quite young, I had a succession of dreams – which had never happened to me before. I had many vivid dreams and could even recall a few details here and there, but nothing like this. I remember i was in the woods, it was pitch black, so black i could barely see roots or branches a mere foot away from my face. Suddenly I feel so afraid, and I whip around, searching as hard as I can for what I feel is stalking me in the black, only to glimpse a slight outline shift in the trees. Panicked, I bolt. I’m surging past branches and leaping over debris and getting cut up in the process, but i dont stop. Finally i take a look behind me to see if im in the clear – only to see a pair of vivid green eyes snarling JUST behind me. Panicked, i turn to bolt again, only i stumble and fall hard. The wolf is on me in seconds. With my heart feeling like its about to give up with fear, with a last surge of desperation, i swing my arm as hard as i can at its face…and i wake up. I had three of these dreams, first with the realization of whom i was hunted by, then the chase, and finally when i lashed out. I never had them again. And i have no idea what it could mean. Its so vivid in my mind that its stuck with me for over 15 years, though. Any insight would be a blessing!

  92. Um, I’ve never had a dream with seeing a wolf. I’ve always been the wolf. And every time I have those kinds of dreams I’m either hunting something or protecting a group of characters. I’ve been having confusion as to what this means. Does anyone know?

    1. Lia,
I have had the same dream ever sese I was 3 then at the age of six my friends appeared in these dreams. But not as normal humans but werewolves. Is that normal ? When did your dreams start ? Did you have any problems at the times you had the dreams ? When you are hunting it may mean you want to prove that you can survive on your own and when you are protecting people it means that you care about these people/you are loyal/these people maybe friends or family that you care about. Sorry if you don’t think that is the possible truth ask a purfational.
PS sorry if there are spelling errors

  93. This morning while working(Uber driver). I saw a brownish wolf trotting down the sidewalk going the opposite way. It’s weird because it looked like he was smiling, his mouth was open but not panting… does anyone know if this means something or was I just in luck to see one?

  94. I had a terrifying dream last night.

I dreamed I was in somebody’s old abandoned cabin. I held a black wolves head in my left hand, and I gripped it by the back of it’s head. I was walking into another cabin room when the head snarled and became a full fledged black wolf ready to attack me. Just then a brown lion roared, entered the room, and attacked and killed the black wolf.

After killing the black wolf, it turned its attention to me and started to stalk me – so I ran into a bathroom of this old cabin. I could heard the lion growl as it came around the corner and cornered me in this cabin bathroom.

I then woke up. I realized it was a dream, but it had me trembling.

I fell back asleep – and guess where I ended up? Back in the same cabin. This time, there were many unknown people in the cabin with me. Somebody else picked up the black wolf head – and I yelled for them to stop – that it always ends the same way – with the wolf devouring those around.

Crazy. I don’t normally dream of animals ever and I didn’t watch any movies to bring this on – so the whole thing just creeped me out.

  95. This was my dream. What does it mean to wee a white wolf, then for that wolf to bite you in the had, and to have its soul enter through that bite?

  96. I once when i was a kid playing with my cousin in the house in the morning and for some reason there was no one else in the house so we entered my fathers photographic studio to explore as we had forbidden to entry because instead of a door the only thing preventing the light to enter was a red heavy curtain, as we entered an antropomorphic wolf the size an adult male 1.85-1.90 centimeters tall with black fur and some kind of pitch-black fog emanating from him, red ruby eyes shining like a red sun appeared before us and lifted me by the troath with his left “hand” and put his right in my cousin’s right shoulder , i dont remember how i got free but i hit the ground and pulled my cousin arm and we run and hide in my rom with the room closed all while cryng with fear, my ciusin died from a heart atack years ago but when i asked him as teenagers he to remembered about it but couldnt rrmember the details i want to know the meaning this events or the reason this “entity” appeared before us and do that

  97. Twice in journeying I’ve seen a blue wolf. Blue as in the color of a blue heeler dog. The first time it was coy the second time she walked up and greeted me by name. Anyone know what blue wolf symbolizes?

    1. Hi
Did you ever found out what a blue wolf mean?
My daughter keeps seeing it in her bedroom at night and is terrified
      Many thanks

  98. I had a dream last night about a BLACK wolf guarding my neighbour’s home. It is eagerly watching to come to us from their terrors. I was with my pet dog playing outside and watching it. Later it turned into a GOLDEN BROWN wolf and started attacking my dog. I was standing there in a shock, a while after I grabbed a small log and started hitting the wolf until it left my dog. Both the wolf and my dog are standing before me. My dog was injured a little and became weak and the wolf got hurt too. Then my mom came and took care of my dog

I WANTED to know the exact meaning behind this dream but could not find it. Can some one help me with this ?? ❓ ❓

  99. I had a dream about a pack of black wolves chasing me and my husband. We had to cross a river to get away from them. It was so dark the river looked like tar . We had torches but their light flicker wasn’t much help. We were running from something else but, I can’t quite remember what it was. Whatever it was it sent us straight to the wolves. Once we got to the river the stopped chasing us. We made it across the river. But, I can’t remember anything after this point.

  100. Hi in my dream is was cornered by a lion and a wolf, how ever I was not afraid just a bit rattled I normally dream about lions, this is my first time dreaming of a wolf, there was another animal but I can’t remember what is was the only thing I really remember about the dream is that, the wolf and lion and this other animal was cornering me, what does this mean

    1. Casdane Allistaire

Hello, if you don’t mind me asking, was the wolf black and white with possibly blue tribal markings on his face and the lion has a very long mane? And could the other animal possibly have been a doe with large antlers, a white owl, or a white rabbit perchance? Are there any other details you could give like maybe where you were and your surroundings if possible? I was scrolling through reading people’s stories but when I saw this it really intrigued me because of what I’ve seen. I’ve never been in here to comment before so pardon me if I mess up somehow with commenting on my phone.

  101. Last night I had a dream. I was the leader of a pack of wolves. They would follow me, do as I said, eat from my hand and were extremely happy to be around me. There were from 8 -10 big wolves and their color was beige with darker spots, they appeared to be shedding. None of them was ever aggressive and seemed to share the same energy. Any input on what this could possibly mean?

  102. I had a dream where I was walking through the woods. I knew the woods, I was comfortable there. I came to the edge of the woods, and it opened up to the sea, I didn’t see the water, but I could feel the spray of it on my face. When I turned and looked to my right, about 20 paces away, was a beautiful grey and brown wolf. He was sitting up perfectly straight on all fours looking out into the distance. He was sitting on a tree stump that was once a massive tree. He was so still he looked like a statue. Then he turned his head and looked and me, and I woke up. I have to stress, none of this was distressing. If this makes any sense, if felt normal to be standing 20 paces away from a wolf. Any interpretation would be very much appreciated.

  103. I had a dream last night that I was in the back seat of a car, my mother was driving. I was on the passenger side with the window down. We passed a dirt road where there were many normal looking wolves being shot by somebody and the run over. I rolled my window down… Suddenly, a jet black wolf came running at the car, jumped into the window and went for my neck…I cried out and actually woke myself up…ive been freaked out all day!!!! Help. Any insight what this could mean???

  104. I had a dream I was naked in a dark forest holding and petting a white wolf. I howled and the wolf started howling with me and the dream ended. Any thoughts?

  105. I am seeing a white wolf ghost in my backyard and I believe my dogs sees it too. She will bark at what appears to be nothing but then I have gone outside and seen a wolf sitting down and then it disappears. I have seen it a few times it is almost must like. Please help explain what this could be or mean there is a lot going on around this home and I am trying to figure out what is going on.

    1. I feel that maybe she is a protector of sorts or maybe a guardian, How do you feel when you see her? What else is going on around the home, odd things or more of the human dilemma type situation?

  106. My dream ended with me siting in a road with a forest around me, pine trees. I looked around and saw white eyes but couldn’t make out what was in the shadows of the forest I was feeling scared, I looked up to a hill from the woods where the full moon was high and large in the sky, a black wolf showed up on the hill with white eyes, it was almost hard to make out the features but I knew it was a wolf, I wasn’t scared nor brave, but I was comforted by the wolf when it looked at me and I looked at it.

  107. I went on a full moon hike with my husband last night, only to have a most surreal wolf dream thereafter.

I dreamed that I was with two wolves in a barn setting, in a farm-type location. While off doing something on my own, I could hear one of the wolves growling in an attempt to protect our territory. When coming to get a closer look I heard the wolf whimper, only to find out it was staving off what appeared to be two bad men, one of which poured gasoline on the wolf. I quickly grabbed the gasoline can and poured it onto the men, and their vehicle, and in a split second decision threw a match at them. I grabbed the wolf and sheltered it in my arms while quickly moving away from the men, since it too was dowsed in gasoline. I felt a profound connection to the wolf. The rest went up in flames. I felt another wolf in the background.
Any insights into this dream would be greatly appreciated.
I admire wolves so very much and often think of them; we also have many wolf adornments/art from various tribes which we have lovingly placed in our bedroom.

  108. I had a dream where I was with a friend of mine. She and I were near a pretty pond or lake and then a pack of wolves came near us they were kind of shy but they warmed up to us and we pet them then all of a sudden there was a black cat it seemed kind if scared. I started petting cat and said to it don’t worry they are. The wolves did not harm the cat and the cat felt more comfortable. What do you think this means?

  109. Not familiar with this stuff.
The other day I was driving and I looked into a neighborhood and there was a white Wolf walking none threatening like he was just on his walk.

But this white wolf wasn’t really there it was a glimpse and disappeared. It was mid day I’m not sure what that was and led me here. What is that? I guess I could just have a random moment of seeing something.

I literally just had a white wolf walk up to me, stare me in the eyes and turn and walk away. And no it was not a Syberian Husky. A car pulled up and then it took off running toward a Forrest preserve. I am in the south suburban Chicagoland area. Scared the crap out of me at first, afterwards I realized that it was one of the most beautiful animals I had ever seen. At the time it saw me I was in a cornered area with no where to run or move to get out of its way if it decided to turn aggressive. So I froze. Time seemed to have stood still at that moment. I hope you take something from your sighting as well.

    2. I had simular experience. Just now i was putting things on thestep and seen a wolfe out of rge corner of my ey sitting not 5 ft from me. Then he was gone.

  110. Last night I I dreamt that a group of human wolf spirits were trying to attack me and my sister. she and I hid in a basement inside a large fenced-in kennel like area. The group came down with lock cutters and captured us. The main leader of the human group came over and bit my arm, near my elbow (I remember the pain of the initial bite, & how the throbbing in my arm as my blood was draining, I even got dizzy!) and I was turned into a white wolf pup. After I was turned into a wolf pup my sister was also turned, she was a gray wolf, I ‘woke’ in the back yard/field of a grassy homestead with enormous willow tress. It was a beautiful sunny day with big puffy clouds dotted across the sky.. We started running around and frolicking through field. When i looked up at the sky i could see colors I still can’t describe, but basically the were rainbow clouds, and being able to see the scents in the air..
What does this mean!? All the colors, feelings, etc. were so vivid. I can still feel the grass on my paws…
    Thank you!!!

i went to a spiritual healing and on my session i saw myself i was in the middle of millions of wolfs it looked like i was the leader of the wolfs idk what it means can someone have explanation for this ??? ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗ 😕

    1. I’m not really sure, but maybe since you were the leader, it was showing you that you are the “alpha wolf” of your life. That you call the shots, and that you are the one who decides which way things go. Maybe it was a way of encouraging you along your spiritual path, and to reassure you that you always have the backup and protection that you need, you just have to believe, and think of yourself as the alpha! 😉

  112. one day i was laying in my bed. I was not sleeping. out of the corner of my eye, i saw a white wolf spirit walk in and look at me for a minute and then left. To this day, i still don’t know what it meant.

  113. Every morning I leave the house by 3:40am taking my daughter with us to drop my husband off at work. We passed train tracks and there was a broken tree limb so I swerved and moved out the way. Then there was a baby cat so I slowed down but kept going. As I rolled to a stop I told my husband it is a warning. Today is the 13th of June, for me a day of luck and the day my daughter turns 2year4months. I told my husband to be very careful at his work and I kept getting warnings in spanish to be careful, watch the road. I drop my husband off at work and tell him to be careful while driving anything. I go to return home and just pass a stop sign ways before the train tracks but suddenly I see a wolf bolt across the street and I swear I hit it. Yelling as light as possible not to wake my daughter I stopped while dreading the sound of its dead body skim the road, I reverse and search all around the car with my sight and across the street and there was nothing. I surely hit it. I looked in my rear view and all over but there still was nothing. It was a wolf with fur that started white at his head and ended dark black at its bushy tail. I head home safely and quickly call my Husband to tell him what happened he asked if I was ok and I say just freaked out. He jokingly said it was him but I said no call your father later to see how he or his Grandpa is.

  114. Hi,

I have had a very special experience. An experience that i need some guidance to understand.. Because i have the last years become very spiritual, and i went to Thailand this spring (April to May) in a place i had been in 2014 as well(But then in august/september.. I have also traveled here many times before, just not the same exact spot, but the same Island in the same country, and the same “small town” on the island.. It is just that that place i was in 2014 and now in April/May i have had some spiritual experiences. The first time it was more an awakening. (I also experiences this in 2009 like 1km north of the place i am talking about, then with my girl friend, but that is another story since i was much younger and did not believe in spirituality just yet i think..

    TO WHAT HAPPENED

In Thailand they follow the Lunar cycle(They have their own callander, the “lunar callander” or “thai calender”) And when i was there i saw in the paper it was going to be a Lunar Eclipse And since i have been practicing many Shiva Mantra’s and focused on my chakras and so on(And i also knew it soon where going to be a venus passase in front of the sun) And with what i have learned of the culture of Shivaisme, Buddhisme and Hinduisme i knew this eclipse meant a child was going to be born(A child of god, or a god child) So i put my self up to “be in Shiva”, Too not eat anything in this period, before a child where born or before something happened that awakened people or something else, so you can say it was kind of a “hungerstreik”. For my self i thinekd i couldnt make it more than 2-3 days.. But over all i went 16 or 17 days if not 18 overall. The first days where hard, but after 4-5days it become easier and easier and suddenly i got a real energy boost. But this is not the story i just have to tell it so you understand more than one factor of what happened.

After a while i understood it was not only me that went without eating, my bungalow “neighbour” was also not eating and doing yoga and so, but still all the same negativ things where going on.. After a while i started focusing more on my inner self than the outer world that i was focusing on the last years. (If you want to change the world, change your self. You know) So i started practicing inner yoga(Or what you name it) Like balancing things with sounds, with AUM and OHM and i really figured out a lot and learned so much i cant even start writing about it, since this really is a question about something that happened to me at something that become to be the end of this practice or trip or what we should say it is..

The thing that happened was that i woke up, was maybe around 15:00PM or so, i went to bed really late. So i went and got my Fruit Shakes(Since i allowed my self to live on fruit that the plants dont need it self, i thinked about this as an ok way of life, this would not make any unbalance, or use any resources.. Since i wanted all the resources or as much resources as possible to go to the baby being born(Since it was a god baybe, i thinked it needed the energy the nature use to produce food and so on, that is why i didnt eat)

So i went up the road to say check if a friend was there, but he was not so i went down the same road again..

When i had walked almost back to the place i stayed i was cornering a “corner” not a corner, but the road went a little to the left so i couldnt see everything at the left side before i walked closer, since it was a street with different restaraunts, tatto shops and so on.
And then i see a guy standing with his dog, cheering it and so on. I didnt have my lenses on so i didnt see exaclty what kind of dog it was or what they where doing, and for my it was early in the morning and so on, everything seemed just ok, so i just walked further down the road i just had walked up without thinking to much about it..(sorry if i repeat my self here, the point or question is coming here)

But when i walked closer i thinked about a Wolf “Mark” or kind of a “logo” it is hard to explain what it is,
but i can like project it spiritually, and i have thinked this is to identify my self in the spiritual world with other wolfes..

But this time i kind of projected this towards the dog when i was walking against them(the dog and the guy) without thinking too much about it, since i have done it many times before to show that i am trustworthy(that is what the sign means in my mind at least, but i dont know if have done it to an animal that actually noticed) But it did it, and as i said i didnt think much about it, i just walked up in front of them and i see like a Wolf standing in front of me and this was outside one of the local Tattoo shops,

So i tought for my self, WOOW for a beautifull creature(And at the same time back in my mind i thinked that i really didnt know they had dogs that looked that much as Wolfs here in Thailand and with so nice and thick “fur”)

So in the same moment i completely changed my way of thinking and i saw the wolf with those BEATIFULL blue eyes looking me just in my eyes.. And instinctly i just runned over to it and started petting it like we had known each others for years, but then the “owner” or what he was that stood with the dog/wolf and petting it already when i came, he jumped like a meter behind an screamed scared. Then i jumped inside his tatto store and closed the glass door but was still looking out on me and the wolf or dog(I really dont know what to call it anymore) And he screamed it is sick it is sick.. But i continued petting it and just thinked he maybe was scared since it was such a big dog, and i just earlier on had been thinking that i didnt know animals like that was in thailand, but in Norway i am kind of used to them and have a good hands with animals.. So i thinked it was just me that was good with animals and he that didnt understand that i could come up in front of the wolf and just pet him like that..

But for each time i looked towards the guy screaming something was wrong i looked back at the wolf and it first had like very much dirt on his leggs, like mud or something it looked like he had been playing in mud.. And then the guy screamed again, and i looked at him again(thinking now i should just had eye contact with the wolf, thinking maybe it was a sole from my pack) Because it was really a completely beatifull wolf that changed into a dog looking like it was very sick, but this was after i thinked i kind of got it to change to a wolf, i know it seem crazy, but i have never seen a wolf in thailand before i projected this wolf mark projection or what i should call it..

And the way that man reacted when he just earlier was petting it, and how it happened, it was like someone used a razor blade and cut his hair off each time i looked at the man screaming that animal is sick.. I know dogs can have rabies and so on and so on, but this was not it. It was a complete changeover from regular to extraordinary and then to almost dead. And i cant stop blaiming my self, since i got so scared that i just ranned and took my shirt off and either threw it away or washed it, at least went took a shower and almost thinked i had been crazy and petting a sick dog.. But after i have calmed down i know that it was not what happened, either the animal come to me, or i got some extra power from me trying to ascend or it was a wolf in completely wrong enviroment.. Or something..

That is what i have to ask you, what could anything of this mean? It was not a dream, since the next day the police and rescue team and everything came and took everyone away and too the hospital. But i said i didnt want to go the hospital, because i was on my 15th day in Shiva, and since the lunar calender and the western calender crash, so they can split 30 days(a month in 2, just as the visum is, 30 days) i thinked i had to be there 16 days for the cycle to complete, but then they used police do drag my away from my bungalow where i had used 15 days for making my chakra complete!

So it really seemed like spirutal conspiracy or corrupt spirituality.. So since now over 60 people look to me as their spiritual guide i need to find out as much truth about this situation as possible..

    What does the sign mean?

Is is possible for this to happen?

What can be the options for this to happen if it really happened the way i say and it was because i projected the mark..

Are some of you this advanced in this field? Remember no answer is dumb, just please dont critisize me, as the drained all my powers by “arresting” me after all this had happened, people should come together, not divide each other! Even though someone is a pain in the ass. If they are a pain in the ass, it more often than not is a good reason, you just have to listen, evaluate and if you have to investigate like i do know!

So i ask you, please READ THIS WELL, BE OPEN MINDED, and reply as if it where a dream if that make its easier for you. I just want to know what this signs mean.. If it is real or not is for me to comprehend! And for you to ask your self!

Thank you for any reply, just anything that could point me in a direction for some of this. Or if you have had like a experience that is the same..

By the way, i was taken to the hospital after all and they took many tests and so on, i was good to go 🙂 So no rabies or something at least!

    My best regards
    Shiva
(All this happened within the same 20 seconds or so, me walking and projecting and so on)

    Any

  115. For about 5 years if I’m ever in the car, or by myself outside I day dream about a black wolf that will either run beside my car, or sit and watch me if I’m outside alone. Ever since I was very young I’ve always felt connected to canines. I don’t know how to explain it but I’ve always believed my dogs watch over me while I sleep. My dog that I got about a year ago will not sleep while I lay down, nap, or sleep. She lays and watches over me. I would love to know if anyone knows anything about this and could explain it to me.

  116. Hello! I came to this site searching from some answers about Wolf. I am stuck and hope to find out why. I am Native American. On my mothers side I belong to the Deer Clan, we share the North Arbor (The Peace Arbor) with the Bear Clan and the Wolf Clan. I have known and been guided my whole life by my blood totem -Deer and my spirit totem – Bear. But I have had two profound encounters with a large wolf in my lifetime. The first time I was young and didn’t understand what was happening or why it was significant. The first one was a black wolf years ago at a tribal dance inside the cultural building at my tribal headquarters. I am American Indian on both sides of my bloodline. I grew up with my mother’s family but knew nothing about my fathers tribal culture. I was at the dance to begin to learn about that side of my tribal identity. It was my first time there. The wolf a member of a prominent family in the community since he was born. So much so that when his family arrived, kids ran up to them to pet Wolf and then took him outside for a walk!! While he was outside, I sat by one of wolf’s family members and was talking to him. When the kids brought Wolf back in, he walked past his family member to me, circle around one time and then sat down….on my feet and stayed there! I guess he had never done that to anyone ever before. 20 years later, I help moved the grandmother of Wolf’s family out of her home and into a nursing home. Ironically, as I was helping her get settled, I hung a family picture on the wall for her…Wolf was in it. I forgot about all that years ago, never really gave it a second thought. Until last night. It was 1:00am. I was driving on a long dark country 2 lane road outside of Austin, TX. I was talking on the speaker phone. In the distance right off the shoulder of the road, right outside the edge of my headlights I see a white dog. As I move closer, Im thinking “that is Huge dog, is that German Shepard…no too tall, a Great Pyrenees?” but I keep talking and driving…not really thinking about it. The whole time Wolf is standing on the side of road in the grass, looking straight ahead….like it’s looking across the street. As I get closer in my mind I realize….its a wolf…no it can’t be a wolf, TOO BIG and WHITE??? But I keep talking and driving and watching it. As i come up on it…my mind screams….IT”S A WHITE WOLF. My husband is talking. By the time I get almost next to it….my mind freaking out…my husband still talking….Im in a state of awe….so I can’t speak to interrupt him.

Right when I come up even with the wolf, she turns her head towards the car…..it felt like we locked eyes, then I drove past her, my mind screaming WHITE WOLF. I looked in the rear veiw mirror and she was gone. This all happened in a flash of time maybe 3/4 minutes.

I have found lots of info about the Wolf’s Medicine and meanings or insights into possible meanings of the different types of wolf encounters. I have found references to wolf encounters in dreams or real wolfs, references to encounters with single or pack of wolfs, references to encounters with black wolfs. My encounter was not a dream or a real wolf, it was a single white spirit wolf. She was looking towards the East. She waited until I passed her to turn towards me.

What could it mean? Why white? Why Wolf? Why in spirit form and not dream form? I don’t want to miss anything important. But I just don’t know. Any help and insight would be really really appreciated!

    2. Ok………
First of all I’m happy and really in awww and freaked out a bit. I was browsing this web site just kinda being bored and seeing what if anything I can (once again) figure out about my experiance long ago. I was just about to push the close button and I saw the words country road right outside Austin! I froze and began reading your story.
I ‘ll be short in saying that I too had an experiance that was greatly alike your own. I was coming home from Elgin where I worked at a nursing home when I was younger at about 18. I think it was Fall of 1997 and I worked the late shift that let me off of work at 7 in the morning. I was coming home and although usually exhausted from my hours that I worked, this was definitly not a dream! I was coming home on a lil road called 696 on my way home to Lexington.(Very small country town) I also, was on a small two lane country road. As I rounded a corner there were 3 White Wolfs and there were no mistakes about it! They were sitting in the middle of a small field right off the road. Two of them looked up and directly at me as the one on the left seemed to lock eyes with me! Everything about how you felt and were thinking was erie simular! I felt as if time were going by really slow and I don’t believe I barely took my eyes off of them or at all as I slowed to a stop and turned the car around to look. Now, I think about it there could have been cars coming from either direction and I wouldn’t have noticed! That being said these wolfs had my whole attention! So, this is even harder for me to belive when I say that as I looked at them they seemed to disappear into the lite morning due/mist. They didn’t have time to run away or over the distant hill.
I have had a few smaller ones but, this is the second major spiritual/freaky thing that has happened to me and as I worked for nursing homes. The first one is pretty hard to believe but, very true and if you say that Your experience was on the same road, same area as mine right outside of Austin, I think it has to top even that one!
I have not had ANY luck interpreting what this means but, all my life I have known that, IT DOES!
I see that you have had much luck into (wolf medicine)??, or what any of these omens mean and I am asking for any help in finding out what this means or what this means to me?
I don’t know if this adds anything to my experiance or means anything but, I am also of indian decent. Comanche I believe? I mainly know that my great great grandmothet was full blooded indian on my mom’s side…

  117. i have had this dream continuously from when i was about 8 not daily but ill have it atleast 2-3 times a year the dream is of a baby crying and when i get to it it suddely turnes into a wolf howling please if someone could make sence of this it would be such a relief as its driving me crazy not knowing why i keep having this dream

  118. I my dream I was upset and a black wolf came to me picking me up in its mouth like a cub and took me to a safe place. I do come from a strong native American back ground and I own a full blooded wolf. So I’m not really sure what my dream was trying to tell me. Can anyone help me with this ?

    1. Same dream when I was 3 or 4 years old! It’s your protector for life. This animal spirit never leaves you and watches over you. It became very real circumstances for me as in, the dream played itself out in real life later on. I’m much older now. Hindsight being 20/20 and all. My protector took me away from danger and into safety like its own Family. You most likely have a past life connection to this Spirit as well with your heritage being Native American.

    1. Earlier today I took about a two hour nap and had a dream that I moved into this new house or something random and there were two wolves in there. One was black the other was blackish brown I believe. The solid black one kept cuddling up to me and was being really sweet and I just sat there on the floor and it laid it’s head on my shoulder and I just sat there and hugged it. Obviously didn’t feel threatened by it at all, I have no idea what this means but in addition to this dream there’s been really weird things going on in the last two nights. I too have always felt connected to wolves

  119. I was having a really long dream, and at the end of it, I saw a grey wolf in an open field, growling at something I couldnt’ see at first. There was this dividing line below her, and the scene turned into a city at night, from which someone was pulling a Rottie on a leash. He (she?) had one of those full-body harnesses on. Someone pulled the dog whining over to the wolf, and I thought she was going to eat or attack the dog, except she told me without words that she wasn’t, and there was nothing else I could do but watch. Instead, they began an energy transmission of some sort, little yellow dots and bubbles rising up from the rottie, and what had been red on the wolf turned pink to mingle with the yellow energy of the rottie. I’m hoping this means something along the lines of my two sides making friends again 🙂 ❓ ❓ ❓ 3

  120. When the wolf came to me in my dream it was a time of great crisis. I was almost ten years into the hopeless grip of an addiction to pornography and sex. I felt very alone and alienated being interested in only satisfying the hunger for my next “fix”. At this time I would want to go to sleep hoping to wake up screaming from a dream. Yet, even with all of this crisis of character and spirit, my mind wondered about things. Why is the world this way? Why am I feeling this way? What is God? In my quest for answers I developed an affinity for nature and the idea of living in a hunter/gatherer tribal community. It seemed perfect to me to grow up in a society where you are taught how to live naturally and with little effort in the learning process. Where you merely had to reach out into nature and build a hut or be fed (there are very few things in the wild that humans cannot eat). Then, the wolf came. A majestic and wizened white wolf. His coat was pristine yet aged. He looked into my very spirit with the feeling of wanting to give me a gift.

Ever since I was little I enjoyed making stories. I liked creating some sort of motion of beings and thought. I decided to create a James Bond script incorporating some of the ideas of a tribal society into the villains idea for a “perfect race”. When I let a friend read the script he referred me to a book by Daniel Quinn called “Ishmael”. “Its right up your alley,” he would say. And he was right. I was completely captivated by this book and every book of his thereafter. I felt I had found the gift the White Wolf wanted to give to me after having the dream three years prior. Even still I feel like I am only just unwrapping the packaging to find my destiny in full form inside. I continued my quest after finding “Ishmael” and read up on books about the rites of passage of a vision quest. Currently, I am deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. I came here with the intent to destroy my addiction to sex and pornography for good. As the next step in my personal vision quest. And to ready my self to be birthed back into the world I have left behind as a new and stronger person. I thank the great spirit of the universe for guiding me and the White wolf for coming into my life and for the gift of my destiny. I hope that this vision helps whoever reads this in some way on your quest.

  121. I’ve been dreaming of this particular black wolf with vivid red eyes since I was 9 years old. In every dream I had (even if it doesn’t relate to the wolf) the wolf keeps on following me or simply just sits and looks at me. 😕 Even though I try to approach the wolf, the wolf just lies in front of me and doesn’t run away or comes closer. But there was this one dream where I was in a little cottage in a forest, the black wolf was outside trying to get into the cottage and it spoke to me in my mind telling me to follow him into the deep forest, but as I tried to run away, it blocked my path. 😐 But that’s when I woke up. I don’t know why I keep on dreaming about him. I know he isn’t dangerous, but not slightly friendly as well. PS: I have a dreamcatcher on top of my bed, and wolf blanket on my bed.)

  122. I’ve always have been able to feel spirits and have had vision dreams which came true. Recently these have become more frequent and now I see spirits of dead people. When my wife’s dog was put down I saw its sprite leave the body.. It appeared to me a couple of times after. Since then I had a dream where I was shown a place in the heavens that was for me. That was followed by my seeing an evil spirit materialize in my room. It was upsetting my Husky so I finally told it to go away and leave us alone and it stopped appearing. Most recently, while asleep in a remote cabin, I was awakened by my Husky. There were black shadows all over the interior of the cabin. My husky took me to the front door and I saw a silver white wolf run by. I believe these events are related but have no idea what to make of them. Hoping this site can help. Thanks, Rick

  123. For many years (from about 10 years old to 20) I often made that dream : I was walking alone in a huge forest. Then I was surrounded by a wolf pack (they were making a circle around me) and one of the wolves came to me and licked my hand. In that dream I was not afraid at all.

    1. Thanks 🙂

  124. Hi I had a dream that I was walking to this magic shop and as I was walking there was a dream catcher with a white wolf on it and I stopped looked at it for a few minutes then continued to the shop what might this mean 😥

  125. My latest dream was so vivid…driving in a larger vehicle with a man I’ve been seeing who has recently become distant. I was terrified of the ride, going too fast in bad weather and too fast for the winding roads. We eventually stopped or crashed…that remains foggy, and the guy was gone. I was somewhere in woods cold and alone. A large black and white wolf appeared and guided me, helped me up hills and pulled me up when I could not climb. He/she was right with me and when we were safe let out a long howl… Truly amazing and so vivid but still woke up frightened but also exhilarated and feeling safe…maybe it’s time to get a dog. 🙂

  126. 3:30 am march 26…appearance if a lone white wolf in my yard…appeared to be eating something…looking at me while i was looking at it…it had no fear ..slowly walked past me through the driveway never loosing his gaze on me and then he was gone…what does this mean?

  127. I saw a white and black wolf in my yard and they wouldn’t leave. The white wolf would distracte me and the black wolf tride sneaking up on me. I was fully awake in an area where there should not be wolves. I don’t know if they were pets or where they came from. I called a police officer out to come check. I went back outside about two minutes later and they had vanished. No one could find them. When I told my wife she said she looked outside, but didn’t see them. I was not under anytime of influence. I was exhausted at the time, but nothing else. I still don’t know if they were real or a manifestation. Looking for guidance.

    1. Wolf Spirit resides within you and all of us (us also being simply part of the nature of all things). Black & White in symbolism means duality/balance.
In an ancient wisdom of the Cherokee Indian there is a saying: Good Wolf (in color being white) and bad wolf (in color being black):
One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, ‘My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all..
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ‘Which wolf wins?’ The old Cherokee simply replied, ‘The one you feed.’

Wolf spirit is getting your attention to look within of what you are paying attention to, which will manifest into your life if you pay attention to certain thoughts you carry within, and which wolf you need to feed. Meaning if the bad one is in unrest then perhaps a feeding will help him settle down so that you can then focus on the other one more that needs more of that in your life as you live the life you choose to want to have. Wolf is also about the pack/family unless it is a lone wolf which in your case….what are your predominant thoughts? Which wolf are you feeding the most? Maybe a closer look at your inner thoughts are in order to create the life you really want? It’s about paying attention to your inner world, so that you are aware of the manifestations in your outer world surrounding you, then take responsibility for the manifestation process

  128. I’ve had this man and Wolf appear in my dreams, I could be dreaming of the boardwalk, and he’d be there with a big white wolf trying to hand me a knife with the wolf head on it. But I’d never take it, and he never says anything. He just shows up out of no where, the crowd moving around them and they just stand still. Does anyone know what this means?

  129. I don’t think I’ve ever dreamed of a wolf or wolves but once a long time ago I out hunting deer and a wolf approached me. I laid there very still as to not provoke him. He continues to curiously walk towards me. He sniffed my head and began to rub against me with his nose in a caring, loving way. Then He proceeded to trot away. Ever since that day I have felt a strong connection to wolves and tonight I understand why that is. I looked up the symbol of a wolf and my journey lead me here with others like me and I finally understand why I met that wolf so many years ago. I finally know why He saute me out. The traits of a wolf are traits of my own: loyal to a fault and extreme passion and devotion to the ones I love is something I wasn’t taught but was instinct. If there are others like me as I see here I would love to here from you it’s nice to know I am not alone in my understanding and devotion to these traits and where they come from. Thank You for reading.

  130. Iv always felt attached to Wolf’s I love them. Whenever I see the moon a space out looking at it and get an extrem earge to howl at it or just bask in its moon light especially when it’s a full moon. One night I was waiting on my bed and I looked up at the mirror that is on my head board and I saw a pure black wolf laying at the foot of my bed just sleeping there. I watched it for maybe 20min befor I turned my head to see if it was really there but It wasent and when I looked back at the reflection it was staring back at me with percing blue eyes. I see it during the day now to but as a pup. He follows me around. His name is Kanri.

  132. I was dreaming I was sleeping and hearing a pack of wolves beautifully howling I’m my sleep. It was lovely. But one of those dreams that stick with you. Felt powerful.

  133. When I was a child from age 10 yrs of age, until i was 18 yrs of age…….I would have the same dream over and over…………….The dream began as i walked through the woods like always. As a child i spent a lot of time in the woods, and the creatures, birds or what ever always would linger around me. I had a bobcat that followed me like a dog would, chipmunks would come out a visit with me, and i also encountered a black panther in a tree i climbed, looked directly into it’s intense eyes. Anyway back to my dream……I was walking through the woods, and i began to sense something coming, then i could hear sounds of running in the leaves, i turned around and i was faced with this very unusually large black wolf with yellow eyes……i slowly began walking away not to panic……but i began to run….i was afraid……of course the black wolf following along with a pack of grey wolves, the black wolf was always in front, they didn’t circle me, they just kept steady pace behind me…… i made it to the house and shut the door…… i look out the window, the black wolf just standing there, he turned his head and made a sound to the other wolves, and they turned around and went into woods just out of sight, the black wolf turned and looked at me, then he turned around and in a slow pace went to the middle of the field, he stopped , turned back around to face me and began to howl, it was the sadist sound i have ever heard, he waited then slowly walked back into the woods……and i would always feel like i was a white wolf with my blue/green eyes, and that i was meant to follow them or be the dominate female along side the dominate black wolf……… sounds crazy…….had no idea why i had this dream, but they stopped when i turned 18 yo………..I just recently found out that i have Cherokee Indian relatives on both sides of my family…..the Ross side and Beckham side…… i just never understood the dream and it’s meaning…………….

    1. You have found your tribe at last. It was shown to you when you were young, but may have forgotten that you will in life find relatives of your tribe or maybe your thoughts about your heritage were feeding a paradox thought. Learning from your tribe could be essential to your well being in life. Learn the Cherokee way, the stories, the meanings, the wisdom. If you find yourself in your outer world disconnected from the kind of spirits you would rather be around, then find your tribe by instinct. Look within. Where are your thoughts like these days? Are they different then when you were young? From what you were taught about the natives, that you now realize that you are connected with by DNA. You can learn about your inner world from the way you find a question to what you answer yourself or what you accept as an answer from outside yourself (meaning anyone but your true self)

  134. I had a dream I was looking through a glass window. There was snow and water (like a polar bear habitat) it was daylight, and there was a bunch of bears that were there, aggressive – black bears, grizzly bears, and polar bears. My sister told me I had something to do with them, how I was suppose to be able to stop there aggression by doing something. In the end I did not feel up to the task, and thought I need a gun if I went outside with them. I saw a small young brown bear and thought “oh no, it’s going to get attacked by all the other larger bears!’ and sure enough one of the bears started to go after it, but then a wolf came out and kind of chased the large bear away and adverted the kill. I know when I look through glass in my dream, I’m viewing the spirit world. I was knocking on the glass when a polar bear came close to it, then I ran upstairs in the house as the polar bear looked at me and I thought it could probably break that glass and get me! I’ve had other bear dreams before (mostly aggressive) accept one time… again I was looking through a window and saw elk running being chased by wolves, but then I also saw 2 bears. The one bear yelled in a great powerful voice “I WANT TO TALK TO YOU!” so I opened the window and said hello graciously. The 2 bears zoomed up to the window and changed into people. They did not speak, but was just looking at me. I then woke up. Any thoughts to meanings??

    1. Okay so look up to see what gods or goddesses appear as bears and shape shift. I’ve had a white wolf appear multiple times in my dreams before saying that she’s protecting me and she’s watching over me and guiding me on the right path and that she won’t let any harm come to me. So far nothing bad has happened since she’s appeared in my dreams so I think it’s my spirit animal or something like that.

  135. I don’t understand why, but I’ve always felt a very strong kinship with wolves. A few years, me and my family lived in a trailer park in a small town that was almost completely surrounded by woods. One day I was hanging clothes up to dry on the clothesline outside and my 12 year old daughter was out there with me. I happened to glance a few trailers down and standing there, very still, and just staring at me was a white wolf. I didn’t feel threatened or afraid at all. After a few seconds, a much smaller white wolf came out of the woods and stood by the larger wolf and looked at me as well. We stood there, studying each other, for about 2 minutes, then both wolves turned and slowly walked back into the woods. Whenever I told people about this they would laugh and say that there are no wolves in this area and that it had to had been dogs. No…I know what I saw…It was wolves. I have never seen them or any other wolves around here but that day has always stuck with me.

  136. Recently I dreamed of a charging Grisly bear, when it approached me, it was calm and walked beside me, it’s sides touching my legs. We walked through a valley the moon was bright, the ground seemed to sparkle.. I could smell the evergreens growing along the tree line of the meadow. On waking I felt it was a powerful dream and I wondered why the bear came to me. The very next night, I dream of the same meadow, and Grisly. But this time, a White wolf joined us, the wolf on the left, the bear on the right. I remember touching the fur on the backs of both of them as we walked along. The details from this dream stayed with me, and see the picture in my mind often..
Last night I dreamed I was in a burning house and trapped and a huge Moose kicked down the wall that was burning, and said in my mind, get on I’m hear to save you? I woke up.. Ok so the animals are trying to speak to me. I am listening..

  137. I had a dream of having a pet forest wolf, and there was a guy being mean to me I think, and the wolf protected me,and also there was another guy who had a pet wolf, and it tried to attack me,and my wolf attacked it, trying to protect me, the dream is like from when I was 7 or 8, so I think that’s how it goes

  138. I had what i call a dream yet it felt nothing like a typical dream nor lucid experience. My body lifted out of my bed and I floated up into the sky. Unable to control my flight, i thought i must be dead. It made me scared but i was overcome with peace as i continued floating over a field. a wolf pack ran beneath me and i was lowered down until i was running with the wolves. they were biting each other and me in a friendly way as if guiding each other. Then i realized i had become a wolf, and thats when i woke up.

    1. I dream of being a wolf every night. Most of the time I travel alone and visit human friends but sometimes the spirit pack calls me and I join them for a while. These are lucid dreams but they are real as well.

  139. I had a dream about a white wolf grabbing my hand and leaving its paw print on my palm then says I’ve earned it.. Then later a pack was chasing my family through a wooded forest full of water and abandoned places

  140. I had a dream I was a white wolf and the leader of a pack of white wolves, sneaking the pups of a black wolf pack to feed to my own pack. Once the pack was feed any extra pups we kept with two Indian humans with two newborns to keep the pups warm. Then my dream jumped to me running down a hill and watching my pack and the black pack lunge at one another like a war. It was so real when I woke up I just looked around my house and my husband was very concerned. What does this mean?

  141. I had a dream that I was in someone’s house, with my son and my husband. We were sitting on the couch when 4 wolves walked into the living room. 2 younger, 2 older. My son got up off of the couch and walked right past them across the room to lay on the other side of the room. The two older wolves got up onto the couch next to him and curled up together.
In my dream, I initially felt fear, especially for my son walking right next to them. Then I realized that they weren’t going to hurt anyone and I woke up. Does anyone have any input on the meaning behind this? I haven’t been able to fall back asleep for some reason!! Thank you

  142. I was back in my old house I grew up in (which is located in the woods in PA) and I was standing in the dining room looking out the window into the woods and heard a lone wolf howling. I felt like it was calling for me. Good feelings came over me. I woke up happy.

  143. My sister and I were driving on the highway when I happened to look in the woods and I saw a white wolf sitting on a small hill. Can anyone tell me what does this mean?

  144. Greetings, all!
Just wanted to share my dream and see if anyone had any comments.
I was having your average “tripping through the subconscious” dream when it suddenly came sharply into focus. I was facing snow-covered fields, evergreens and mountains when I heard a loud cacophany behind me. I turned to look, and there were dozens of people cowering in fear and pointing in the direction I was originally facing. I turned back and saw a lone grey youngish wolf standing in the snow about 20 feet from me. I was not afraid, and as the wolf approached where I stood I felt I was silently communicating with him. We definitely had eye contact although I knew his attention was on both me, the humans beyond me and the rest of his pack who were invisibly closing in on those behind me. When we were level with one another, I was calm and I felt the wolf appraise me with respect. He seemed to nod once without breaking eye contact, and the message I received was, “You can join us. You are free.” (Not that I was invited into the pack, or anything. He was saying that I was understand the language of the wild.)
As I turned an walked toward the tree line, I knew the pack was closing in on the humans behind me but I did not care. I felt that the wolf also told me I had done all I could to help and I should save myself.
Very vivid dream, and I have no idea was prompted it. But I know that I understand that wolf. I actually feel an overwhelming love towards him.

  145. In the dream, I saw myself going into the wilderness by myself, and I came to a small hill which I started ascending when I noticed a white wolf staring at me, and it came towards me, but I turned around and went away from it. The wolf was not threatening at all, at the end of my dream I was asking myself Why did I run from it when I could have embraced the wolf?

    1. Perhaps this symbolizes a subconscious reluctance on your part to accept assistance from your primitive instincts. The fact that you were ascending alone may mean that you feel the need to conquer something in your own life independently. I believe the wolf was letting you know that when you need help, it is there. When you are ready to embrace the attributes of loyalty and beauty without the fear of being humiliated by accepting assistance, you will reach the top of your hill and the wolf will be there waiting.

  146. I’ve had a reoccurring dream where I’m at my grandmother’s house in the woods and a big white wolf comes stalking towards me. It looks like it’s going to attack, but then our domesticated gray wolf chases it off to protect me. There is also a cat that protected me this time. Maybe I should walk up to the wold next time?

  147. my fiance and I were driving home one night and she saw a figure of a black wolf with red eyes as we passed it she noticed that it was a Golden Retriever in the middle of the night middle of the road does this mean anything? thank you very much hope to hear from you

  148. I’ve been having dreams about MASSIVE wolves lately… And by massive, I’m talking about Twilight wolf massive! Anyways, I’m just going to talk about this dream that I had today. Usually I forget dreams minutes after waking up, but dreams like these stick with me forever. I will never forget that wolf, she was absolutely gorgeous! She was black and tan, just like a Rottweiler! And she was as big as those wolves off of the movie Twilight… And her eyes, oh my god, her eyes!! They were a bright emerald green color!!! Absolutely STUNNING! Anyways, in this dream, I was with this guy that I consider my big brother (He has known me ever since I was born, so we are very close and have a very special bond… Since I don’t want to give out his real name, I’m just going to call him Dave) and we were walking down this road that was out in the middle of the desert, and then we came across the wolf that I had just talked about. She stared at us, and looked as calm as could be… Everything about her looked calm! And then that’s when Dave looked at me and said in a jokingly manner, “I bet she’s gonna attack you!” And that’s when I realized I was dreaming! So, I tried to take advantage of this, and jokingly replied back, “I bet I can make her attack you!” (I really don’t know why I said that… It just came out!) and I tried to do so, but instead of her attacking him, everything froze, and that’s when she calmly walked up to me. She didn’t really do anything other than look at me and then look at him and then back at me. I was really confused and didn’t say anything, because usually I gain complete control of my dreams once I realize I’m dreaming. I also don’t know why I wanted to make her attack him in the first place, and I ALSO woke up after she looked at me… I didn’t wake up right away, I just stared at her, and she just stared at me… This went on for a few seconds, and THAT’S when I woke up! Could someone please explain this to me? I apologize if I’m not making any sense, I’m very tired, but I just can’t get this off of my mind… Also, for as long as I can remember, I have always DREAMED of just being able to turn into a wolf whenever I wanted and being able to run around and be free! Just thinking about it gives me a sudden rush of energy! 🙂

  149. when I was younger I had a vision of a wolf in the couds as I layed on the grass and stared up at the sky. It was a whitish/grey wolf formed by the clouds and taking up most of the sky. No drugs were used.looking back I believe I was in a theta brain wave and it was a type of lucid dream. i was absolutely awwed but never knew its meaning so I really enjoyed this site!
More recently I had a nearly pure black german shepherd dutch variety war dog given to me, he was my black wolf. He was a handful, the runt from police stock and emotionally needy. He chased after me when I drove to the store and loved me more than any creature ever has. He used to nip though and due to financial need I headed out on the bering sea to fish and the one caring for him killed him for nips. This was an extremely devastating experience and changed my life scially and geographically. My dark shepherd is now what I look most forward to finding in the next life, when I too leave my body…. whatever the significance of my experiences, the wolf spirit has undeniably been present in my life. Thank You!

  150. I dreamt i was being chased by a black wolf and i barely got away but before i did it bit me on my right ankle and the strangest thing is it felt real like i woke up feeling like i have been bit no marks and i couldn’t wake up either no matter how hard i try until after i escaped that’s when i woke up.

    1. I had the exact same dream. The black wolf was at the edge of the couch where i had fallen asleep. When i looked at it, it bit my right foot and began to pull. I knew i was dreaming but could not wake up until it was gone. It was so lucid I can’t forget it.

  151. I had a dream I was in the woods, it was dark but in the light of the moon I could see a large pack of white wolves approaching me. I was standing on a rock that elevated me by about 1/2 a meter. As the pack came closer I was calm I felt no fear and they looked at me and sat down in front of me, unfazed by my human form. Suddenly I lifted my head to the moon and howled and the wolves did the same. An angelic white light beeamed down on us through the darkened clouds, then tiny stars floated down through the light and circled and danced around my head. If I watched tv or movies I’d assume I had seen something to influence this dream but I don’t so I was hoping someone may be able to help me understand what (if anything) this could mean. I’m not sure if the following information will help or has any relevance to my dream but I’m a single mum with 4 daughters and often have dreams that are clear warnings or as clear messages, they are usually very straight forward and happen in my dream exactly the same as they will play out in my awake life down the track. I very rarely remember dreams except for one’s that mean something. If anyone could help me interprete this dream I’d be very grateful

  152. in my dreams I hang out with wolves. like I am one of their own. I love huskies too never met a wolf in person but I don’t think id be afraid. my personality traits too are like the wolfs. I believe it may be my spirit animal.

  153. I had a really long weird dream last night but one part of it stuck out the most. I was driving back home and there was a white wolf hurt on the side of the road someone had hit her but just left her there and it looked like it was done on purpose. I went to get her tried to lift her up at first I didn’t think she was alive then when my dog came around she tried to attack her when I told the wolf no she stopped she started limping and had some blood on her and a road rash by her eye. I got her inside a building to help aid her she licked me then I looked at her she had bright golden eyes but for some reason I still felt I couldn’t trust her then I woke up.

    1. My dog the wolf tried to attack is a husky wolf mix in the dream after getting the wolf in the building they became best friends. Apparently my husband had a similar dream last night. Same white wolf that was hurt there was also a grey wolf but the grey wolf took off and we went to aid the white wolf when we were going to let the wolf free back into the wild we opened the door and the whole pack was in our front yard all were friendly. What do these dreams mean? And why did we both have the same kind of dream?

  154. 😕 I don’t know what going on I was out side and know I looked up and there was a full moon and I start thinking of a gray wolf and he started to play with me and he licked me and was in a Forest and need a river

  155. Hi there. So I discovered this site while searching for answers.
The other week I was at a local wildlife park doing some student research on the Japanese Macaques. I was there for the week and I spent a lot of my time wandering the park. On my fourth day there I went to see the wolves which I had studied the year before as part of a Summer School. The pack was new (although the female had been born at the park) made up of a male and a female. It was quiet in the wolf wood and I was the only one there as it is a bit further out than some of the other areas in the park. I stood and looked at the wolves. The were both lying down and the male had his head raised. He looked at me and we made eye contact. I often enjoy speaking when I am alone with animals and I spoke to him, just simple things like asking what it was like to live in a cage, telling him how I wish I could free him, saying how beautiful he was. I then moved off as a large group of people were coming and the male had lain his head down again.
The following day I go and visit the wood and get talking with an older woman (who, surprisingly enough, lived near me) who was watching the squirrels. The male was quite active and we moved onto the viewing platforms to watch them. The male was jumping at the glass and up at the fence, as though trying to escape, there were also reindeer on the other side of the fence so he may have been seeing them. I then had to go to sort some things out. I come back again to see the wolves before I leave and they are quite active again. I stand at the first little viewing platform looking through the fence, deciding not to go up to the glass as there were quite a few other people so I wouldn’t have seen much. I stand at the fence watching the male as he patrols round the fence line, coming towards me as I was at the edge of the fence. He stops, and stands there, looking me dead in the eye. I look back at him and we stayed like this for perhaps five or ten seconds but it felt like minutes. He moves on again and I see a few of the people looking at me as if I knew something that they didn’t. The male comes round again and stops again, making eye contact again, looking at me, I m standing alone at this point wondering “why me?”. He moves off and a family of three move down to where I am to see if he’ll do it again (they’re still giving me weird looks). He comes around again glances at me then at the family and then back at me before moving off. He then goes to lay down and he keeps looking at me. Then a group of noisy teenagers come over and he pointedly turns his back to them (which I thought was hilarious).

My question is still why me? Did he have a message for me? What did he mean?

    1. If you’re really interested, I would look into some Native American folk lore. It is said that the wolves taught people (the Native Americans) how to live, essentially. They taught us what it means to be in a group, and what it means to be alone. They taught the Natives to hunt according to the seasons, to use intuition, and to trust instinct; to take care of one-another, and how to take care of the self. They say that when a wolf looks into your eyes, it can see your soul for all that it is. Many empaths associate with the wolf and the owl. We commonly know dogs to be some of the most empathetic, responsive and sensitive animals. Well, our wolf friends are their ancestors after all!

  156. I had a dream that I was running thru some peoples back yard to get to my house when I jump a fence and see a white young white and gray wolf I tried petting it but it ran into someone alses yard and out of no where a black wolf comes up and bites me on my back and I try punching it and even at one time petting it to see if it lets go but I keep on punching it until I woke up but it was a really realistic dream and my past experiences when I dream something like that it usually represents something about my life

  157. i few weeks ago i had an dream it was storming and there were dogs chained to an fence in the middle of an medow they were growling barking trying to get away. then an pitch black wolf with gold/red eyes looked at me and then i woke up help please? ❓

  158. I’ve had a dream for 2 weeks I’m running in a forest and then a huge white wolf is running beside me. Please. Does anyone know what this means?

  159. I have a wolf as my animal spirit and he is very useful when I’m in danger. My friends are my pack and we stand beside each other no matter what. I just switch school and its hard to shift from my pack at Jenkins to South Effingham but I know he will help and show the path for me.

  160. 😛 I don’t know if I have the wolf SPIRT in me but do know that I have all the signs and that all I need

  161. …I recently had a dream where the false lord of a castle which was being used under the disguise of a camp, you cant leave, had a set of twins in his employ and had put them far apart as a curse… however i befriended one of the twins after fleeing the castle for my life being led by a shape shifting cat-crow-blue jay … the false lord of the castle then went on a rampage slathering a bunch of animals in his path… i came upon tree of them injured a jaguar, a soot (grey black) wolf, and a cheetah which was already dead. I then began healing the jaguar by blowing on its injuries although it kept getting up and trying to go before i was done(kinda like a kid who takes two bites of food then runs around as if the had all the energy in the world) then i tended to the soot wolf who thankfully remained still for the healing.

THe wolf in my dream has appeared many times but never injured so i was a little worried. Previously the wolf has been large as a horse giving me strength and protection, or shape shifting from black wolf to white wolf to snow leopard back to wolf,… but never has it been injured and none of the dream interpretations explain what coming upon injured animal(s) and tending to their injuries means. If you have an idea please tell me.

  162. I once saw a pitch black wolf made of shadows. His eyes were of blood red and I saw him in the waking world. While I’m dreaming, I saw the white wolf once in the mirror as I was looking at myself. Other times, I was the white wolf. A black raven oftened followed me in the dreams.

    1. I once had a dream in July and this is all I remember so I was in this school and I went into the library and it was really wired then I remember I was in a dream so I ran to the back and I saw the librarien and she had a wolf head and a reagular body then I wanted to call my sprit animal and all of a sudden I felt this nose on me it sniffed me I looked up and it was a brown wolf I don’t remember if I asked questions or not and don’t remember it’s eyes and I knew it was my spirit animal then the dream changed I was in the school Cory yard it had poised Ivey and and I was Kai from ninja go they were making fun of my and I half pretended I stepped in poised Ivey and keep saying i 😛 can’t feel my body and then I stepped in a bath tub and then I fell with my shirt up so the can see my back lol then they left I got up because I heard voices and went behind this tree they said they were practicing for the curcis and the guys came and my spirit animal runs to me I held it in my arms so they don’t see us and the I ran into the school and then my spirit animal runs out side and it looks like a dog and I can’t remember the rest and I’m pretty sure I woke up and had another dream but then I woke up I felt really wired and I went up stairs to get close but there was a bee in my room and I wasn’t scared as usual actually i wasn’t really scared of my fears at all so us that was my dream so can anybody tell me what it means like Kai is a fire ninja so does that mean my wolf is a fire wolf or something or can you tell me is that my really spirit animal and yea I know some of it is wired so yea lol 😀

    2. I have seen the shadow wolf with the blood red eyes at least once in Utah. Your not hallucinating. I’m not sure if I have seen “it” more then once or if it was a shadow dog (without the eyes- Ogden cemetery) It’s been a long time, don’t fear it if you encounter it. It is a familiar on the front lines of the great war. ( My spirit guide is wolf and I have had several dreams featuring Wolves as well as zombies. Check Native American legends for the most accurate information.) Also note there is a Childrens book about dead animals and ghost pets. One short story is about this wolf. I hope this helps someone further down the road….

    3. Ive had the same visual for many years and not always in dreams. I have black ravens/crows that follow me wherever I live.

  163. I am lost and confused and now i can’t sleep because I am curious. As I lay here trying to sleep, everytime I close my eyes I see myself on my porch and a wolf comes around the corner of my porch by my steps as if it is going to walk up it to come to me. Before it even gets to walk up the step or get to me I keep kind of waking up… Just to lay here and wonder what is the meaning of this. It’s not a solid color wolf, it’s a wolf with kind of a white, black, grey, and I think their is even a reddish color in its coat. Please help…

Last night i was dosing off and an imege came into my head for two seconds, it was dark and there was a wolf in front of me. He looked young,he was a red wolf with dlack mrkings under each eye and his eyes were like a straight light navy blue. He didnt move he just sared. I think he was over fire because of the pale yellow light flicering from below him but i didnt see eny flames though.
What do you think that would meen ❓

  165. Few weeks ago I attended to drum meditation (shaman drum), and in the very beginning appeared a brown haired lady with long white dress and white wolf headdress. The wolf in a headdress had red eyes. I believe that this lady represented a White Wolf Spirit Guide. She didn’t say anything. The meditation was very strong to all of us (about 10 attendants + 2 leaders, all female), there was a powerfull crystal clear energy light. We felt very healed afterwards, and a lot of sorrowfull energy was taken away. I’m wondering if there was something more I should have understood from appearance of this White Wolf Lady? I’m quite intuitive person myself, have seen quite a few dreams about future events, even a vision in a broad day light before 911 etc. I feel like a should now have a more precise goal in my life. I’m bit lost in my everyday life, work and relationships. I’m looking for something, but I don’t know what it is excatly. I know I already have it in me, it can not be found from outside. I just need to find the connection to it.

  166. i HAVE JUST HAD A DREAM WHICH INVOLVED ..ME VIEWING FROM A SAFE DISTANCE A HERD OF HORSES GRAZING IN A FIELD , AND ALONGSIDE THESE THERE WAS A PRIDE OF LIONS 2 LARGE MALES BROWN IN COLOR , AND AT ONE STAGE THEY STARTED TO FIGHT AS PRIDE MALES DO ??? THIS INCLUDED LIONESSES WITH CUBS …….AND FOR SOME REASON THE LIONS WERE NOT HUNTING THE HORSES

…i THEN FOUND MY SELF ON A HORSE WITH MY CURRENT PARTNER 2 UP WALKING AWAY ACROSS COUNTRY …WHEN WE ARRIVED WHAT SEEMED A HOUSE A WOLF CAME CHARGING OUT OF NOWHERE ?? CLOSED GATE TO GET AWAY ..THEN WOKE UP

    CAN ANY ONE ADVISE ??

    JORGE

    1. The lions fighting represent conflict within your pride, or family.
The horses represent freedom, which seems to be the path you wish to take since you are riding the horse later.
The attacking wolf is symbolic of your aggressiveness to change your situation. Usually wolves adapt to their situations flawlessly and gracefully.

  167. I had a dream many years ago, but it still crosses my mind without reason or even remote thought of it, to this very day.i dreamt I was ten again and going to the shelter to pick out a puppy, and went all along both sides and found none I felt called to, except for one all the way on the end, that I wouldn’t have seen nor knew was there if the “felling” in my gut hadn’t told me to keep going after finding myself going past many empty kennels and almost giving up my search. he was small and little black wolf. I chose him and I felt he chose me. a name came to me, “themba” which means “trust” in south African. in my dream, it was as if years gone by and I was watching myself raise and carry this wolf pup everywhere I went until he got too big to be carried, then he followed me every where. to school, to stores, to home, and on walks though town. he grew to be a bit bigger than I am. he stood maybe 4’11 just on al fours. he was massive, but my protector. in my dream that seemed to last forever, there was one incident where a student had been cruel to me and I called for themba in howl, and he came and ran the boy off. then as the dream progressed on, I was 15, and my family and I were going camping like we normally do in the fall season. when what seemed like few days passed, themba and I took a walk in the woods, and snow started to fall, themba stood and walked by me closely so I wouldn’t freeze. as we went further and further into the woods, the snow came harder. then we approached a road, and a black haired, tanned skinned, dressed in a purple gypsy dress, with cons decorating the waist line.i stopped and themba went out to save her, and did so successfully, and was not harmed. then my family came to call for me, and I had to return, I called for my wolf, but he didn’t budge from the gypsy woman. my father came and picked me up and ran off withme over his shoulder saying we had t go, and had t leave themba behind. I called and howled for themba, but he was no where to be seen beyond the blanket of white wind the snow storm had put between us. I was thrown into the van, and we started to drive off, I howled and howled, calling for my black wolf, my protector, my companion. and he appeared through the back window, he was howling back, chasing after van, he ran and ran trying to catch us, but could not out run the car I was screaming for my father to stop for themba. he evenuallly uit running, and gave me one last howl, saying goodbye and that he was sorry, as he was almost covered by the blanket of snowy wind, the gypsy woman appeared again beside him. and then I woke up. could someone tell me what this dream could mean?

    1. I have seen images of the wolf in many different things. I feel that whatever a person is closest to or thinks about most of the time, is likely to see images like that whether consciously or sub-consciously. I have seen wolf heads in the shape of puddles on the road as im driving along and also in trees, and in rock formations. It could mean more than one thing though. I am surprised that hardly any replies to comments are here. I was just on my way through browsing. Have a nice day 🙂

  168. My dream involved an injured black wolf that was running past me and a unknown person was searching for it to put it down. I went with this person to help locate the wolf. I appeared to be dressed in a uniform (dark blue perhaps police). Side note I recently put in an application for a police officer in the town I live.

Can you help me interpret this dream.

    Thank you so much.

Hello, I’m Caitlin! I had a crazy weird dream! I was walking in a familiar woods (somewhere near my house!), and I stumbled across a golden furred wolf! It had calm brown eyes. “Hello,” it said, “I’m Sol.” Then he passed away. I woke up, feeling calm. The name I felt like I knew it forever. Which I went searching through my school books and then I remember someone named Sally, on my bus. She was my friend and we’d shorten out names (Cait and Sal). Sal. Sol! Is that a connection? Then the day after, I saw her again! I haven’t seen her for a while! What does that mean? I’m confused! I had it again but the second time, I was in a wolf body! I was white w/ grey patches everywhere and I looked in a puddle and saw I had red eyes! Then I instantly woke up. I checked over my body, but I was human still. What the heck was that?! It was amazing but what was that? Thoughts? Opinions?

    1. I had the same dream. When you looked in the puled you seen that you where a wolf. So that means that’s what your in’er wolf looks like.

  170. The other day, I was coming back from work and saw a lone Wolf coming up the dirt road. I stopped as it was going into the bush about 10 feet away, the wolf just looked at me like he was meant to tell me something. He kept going on the side of the bush as I started backing up, there was a calmness about him. It was late afternoon. I know there is a meaning there somewhere, I’ve always felt some sort of connection with Wolves, but this was different. I can almost tell a story of why I saw him, but I’m not sure.

    1. Such an encounter is significant of a particular message that is being relayed to you. There is meaning that it comes by a wolf. However, often such messages must be engaged at the time they occur or they are lost. However, if you sit in a quiet state, someplace still connected to nature, and alone, you can try to recapture the message by remembering in detail about the encounter and the feeling of the experience and wait for the continuation of that experience. It might be a flight of fancy or something new that finds you in that place, but trust your feelings to guide you. Good luck with your journey!

  171. I remember a old dream I had. I was walking on PAWS, not feet,PAWS! It was like I was trapped in a wolf’s body. I had blood on my leg and neck from a battle. Then a week after I had that dream I felt weird, I had a good sense of smell, hearing, uncontrollable anger, hunger right after eating, even changing eye color when I get mad. I know it sounds weird, right? But it’s all true, no joking matter

  172. I’m not really sure what my spirit animal is, or how to find it. I’ve always felt a strong connection to dogs, and I’ve had many people say I have the loyalty, persistence, strength, and intelligence of the wolf. I’ve never had any special dreams about them though, or any special/spiritual encounters. I really admire wolves, and I’m definitely a canine person; dogs, wolves, coyotes, and foxes are my favorite animals. I’m not sure as to what my spirit animal could be, but I’d really like to know. Lots of people have told me to try meditating, but having ADHD, I find it near impossible to focus or sit still for that long. If anybody could help me, or give me some suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. Many thanks!

  173. Hello, I would like to talk about something that has been bothering me for a while. Okay, so one day, I was on my school bus going back home. And I was on my tablet playing a game and listening to music, like how I always did. I looked up to see how close we were to my bus stop and their I saw it. It was a white wolf, but something was different from what you people have described. It was only the upper half (as in just the head and neck), and no their was so blood. The wolf just stared at me, and as I looked at its eyes, I figured something. Its eyes were the same as mine! I felt calm just looking at it, but I was very unsure why it showed itself where it did. It looked like a girl but I couldn’t quite tell. And just as quick it appeared it disappeared. But I’ve always had the image of that wolf in my head. I feel rather young to meet it if it is my animal totem, since many of you are older than me. I am 14 just to clarify. But if you do know why I have seen the beautiful wolf, please explain it to me. Thank you!

  174. Hello Silken Raven…thank you for this opportunity to share this here!

I am a 53 y/o woman with a couple of things to share in hopes they can help inspire and guide others. I live in a magical world and my experiences sometimes reflect this.

During a moment of self care one day last year, I paused as my reflection in the mirror caught my attention. I innocently began to look into my own eyes in a soul gaze that seemed timeless but was short in reality. As I did so I fell into a trance as if I had been hypnotized, yet I felt quite wide awake at the same time. I was taken aback as my eyes became those of an animals. I studied them and as I did, my whole face transformed with the whole top half of my body following until I had completely morphed into a wolf. I could feel the muscles and bones in my body as if they would have felt if I actually was a live wolf! At some point I became aware that I was witnessing myself shape shifting. It became my intent to study and honor what I was being shown. A few moments later my vision reversed and my facial features became my own even tho they retained those of the wolf I had become. I’ve had some incredibly surreal experiences in my time but this one kinda takes it. I was completely sober and unaltered by any drugs , weed, or alcohol by the way. I do not use them. 🙂
    ,

After reading many of the wolf dreams here, I’d like to share mine. I believe we are learning from each other about wolf medicine…and to me, it is sacred.

~ I dreamed I was on top of a mountain with other mountains all around during the spring…snow was a bit icy is how I knew. I was comfortably warm but acutely aware of how dangerously cold it felt. If I had to exert myself in this freezing air, my lungs would have burned instantly.

It was sunny out but not too bright. It was incredibly beautiful. It looked and felt surreal. It became especially so as I saw the White Wolf running across the snow toward me. I remember wishing I had a good camera to capture the vision. I recognized Wolf….the spirit of my wild self. Wolf was as friendly as a dog and knew me well. For some reason I half lifted it, as it half jumped into the back of the car. I remember that there was a pitbull or something like it already in the back. Except for the car, everything else was wild. It kind of stood out that there was this modern machine contraption out in perfect wilderness. I didn’t like it but accepted it anyway. Resentment seemed futile because I was aware time would prove precious in this dream. I was sensing the need to pay attention.

The dream changed and I was standing looking at what we believed was the worlds tallest, old growth tree. We were still on the snowy mountain near the white wolf but I was saying to some men close by…”you can’t even see the top of the tree it’s so tall it’s going into the clouds” We were all studying it to see if we could see the top of it but we knew it went very far into the clouds.

The thing that stood out in my mind was how alone the tree was…all by itself…and it was dead with no branches. I thought of it like it was some kind of totem pole and so did the others. It even reminded me of the totem pole in Beacon Hill Park. It didn’t feel very nice to know it was dead but I knew I had to accept that it was. It just was. I also knew it would stay standing and that it was still not rotted, more like petrified it was so old. As I accepted what I was being shown…it made my spirit ache ebb a bit. As I woke the spirit ache carried on searching for its answers…

I shared this dream with my wise friend RavenWolf….

Me:”Sometimes a dream is just a dream but this one felt like an important message to my soul.”

    RavenWolf:

“Wow thank you for sharing that dream with me! That white wolf has been with me and in my dreams before too…

The tree kind of reminds me of like, the first tree ever to grow… and it’s dead but also kind of like, cemented in time, in memory… its spirit may not be inside of it anymore, but now the trees life and spirit are free and therefore all around us, or there whenever we call… like the oldest grandfather…. so still and timeless…

The snow, too, and mountains, all feel kind of the same… not dead but not alive…. still… hanging in space and time… waiting for the thaw…. waiting for the wolves…

    Thanks again, love you Angel!”

    1. That is awesome that you can share such a deep dream. I don’t usually comment on postings but i was just passing through from a previous visit. I understand what you mean by feeling the bones and muscles of a wolf in your dream. That is pretty amazing, and a beautiful experience that you had. I dreamed one time that i could move a glass with just my mind, and when i woke up i was still fully conscious of the feeling of having that ability, but yet it was still just out of reach of being able to do it awake. Its almost scary sometimes the things that are revealed to us in dreams. Its a pretty amazing dimension to wade through at times.

    1. I found this website, while I was looking for grey wolf definition in dreams. This may sound strange because I am a Chinese. I grew up in Asian culture and immigrated to the States in high school freshman year. About 2 years ago, I had a dream about a female grey wolf and her pubs. I remember I was under the kitchen table playing the pubs. At the time, I thought they were puppies. We had a good time playing. The female grey wolf showed up and looked at us playing, while she walked around us. She didn’t show any threat or negative emotions toward me at all, and seemed calm. Then she waled away toward the exit to the living room and looked back at me, as I looked at her. I wondered why she was leaving. Her eyes just showed that she trusted me to take care of her pubs. Their furs were mostly white with some gray furs on their heads and backs. As she was leaving, I woke up from this dream.
As far as I know, dreams like this are probably not normal in Asian culture. Or it’s a “hush-hush” topic according to the cultural norm. I have been told by an American friend recently that the gray wolf is my guide animal spirit. I’m still wondering what this dream mean, because I always thought only a wolf can appear in one dream, not as a pack. If anyone can explain it, I’d appreciate your help. 😀

  176. So I had a dream last night. I was at an old house I used to live in and it was surrounded by a flood and I was in a serious fight with my father when my veiw point switched to third person and there was a white wolf it was dirty with matted fur and it looked right at me not my father or my body but at me where I was veiwing the fight from third person. This is when my father and my body turned around and our voices changed into something evil and turned to and aproched the wolf chanting kill the wolf. This is what terrified me them not the wolf. I don’t know what this means. But I feal like the wolf is the victim. please help me understand this.

  177. Hello, I am Sebastian. I’ve been very curious to weather or not this wolf in my series of dreams signifies anything or not. So couple years ago my family and I were living at a seperate house but I one spring night I had a dream that I was walking along a street then into this house that I guess was mine even though out of the dream I didn’t currently live there. Then in the dream there were scratches at the hour doors and so my mother went to open the door to look out the screen door to see if it was one of our many dogs we own but it turned out to be a dark black wolf with bright amber colored eyes. I look out the screen door and just lock eyes with him for what seemed like forever then he just turned and ran off with a pack of average grey wolves. And I later woke up from that dream. Then exactly a year later, another spring night…I had a dream just like that again. Except this time I was actually living in that exact house from the first dream!. I was talking down a little forest patch near that same house from the dream before, then I heard howling and started walking to my house to avoid any trouble. It’s rather uncommon to have wolves there because it’s a very populated area and there’s never been real wolf sightings there. Then as I’m walking back home again I glance back because I felt followed and I saw some glowing amber and blue eyes, soon making out the wolfish silhouettes from the slight fog that was around us, So I began running to the house and the whole wolf pack was chasing me, the black wolf from the first dream leading the grey wolves. I got into my house and warned my family to all come inside and take the dogs. We closed the front door and I just barely got the back screen door closed in time! I look out that screen door again, down at that large raven-black wolf with amber eyes. He and I locked eyes for even longer this time. And I woke up after that. Does anyone believe this means anything or is it just random luck that it spans exactly over once a year, same kinda warm spring night, same wolf and pack, and the fact that I dreamed of living in a house before I actually lived there? Thanks for reading!

    ~Sebastian~

  178. Hi, my name is Avery. I’m writing a book and one of the characters is a wolf. A friend of mine offered to draw sketches for the book but she needed information about what people and animals looked like and stuff like that. So I went online to look at pics of wolves but I felt like none really fit the bill. I needed something more; something stronger. I love wolves and the one I’m writing about is a silver wolf. Her name is Sehna and she can move onto a silver ring that gets the design of a leaping wolf on it when Sehna is on the ring. 😀
I feel like wolves are trying to tell me something by my desire for something more.
    Thanks, Avery

  179. Last night, I had a cool dream. I woke up in the middle of a dark forest( in my dream). I look around and there was complete silence. I look ahead of me, walking towards me was a jet black wolf. It sniffed me. Sat right in front of me. It felt like time stopped. The wolf Sat there. He looked into my eyes, I looked into his. And he put his head to mine. And I felt something when I was looking into his sparkling blue eyes. Then I woke up. Then at dusk the very day I had the dream. I looked in my woods, and I saw a jet black wolf, larger then any wolf, walk towards me. He has the sparkling blue eyes just like my dream. He jumped towards me. Went through me and vanished. It took my breath away. No one believes me but I’m not lying! Can someone help me and tell me what my dream and vishion means?

    1. It means he is your “watch over” people may seem this is crazy but he is your spirit animal, he is “you”. Dont let people say you are wrong. You should be proud of what you have! This could also mean an event will happen very shortly, so you should be ready for whats about to hit!
      Ps~ You have a beautiful gift! 😀

  180. Alright so all through my life i have never once questioned my pack of wolves following me but I now am looking for an answer. I dream on nights where I have been stressed throughout the day that there is a large black wolf with maroon accents in his fur and blood red eyes. He leads the pack and the pack look like much smaller versions of him but they are different in their own ways. I am a constant daydreamer and I always am zoning out. During the day I will see visions and apparitions of the pack following me about my day. As I walk through my halls at my school people tend to stay out of my way and let me pass. I do lead a small group of friends in everything we do and we are all close. I also will sometimes have wolf like tendencies. I like to watch the moon for hours at night. My teeth are nearly all sharpened to canine teeth or at least close to that sharp. My eyesight is terrible in the day and my sense of smell and my hearing are advanced as my eyesight is so poor. My doctors are curious as to why my eyesight is so greatly improved at night. I love the thrill of hunting. Tracking down the deer with my friends is the best part of any hunt for me. I have 5 dogs in my household and all seem to somewhat obey everything I tell them and my family has never trained them properly. My youngest one sleeps by my side every night and never leaves my side and is always with me. My 2 females are constantly fighting and we separate them as they fight for the control as head female. Ive also felt closer to my dogs and love them to death. I like to isolate myself with my dogs all the time and just lay with them enjoying the company. I dont know what to think about it and would like to hear what other people think of this. Thank you

  181. Last night I dreamt of WOLVES. I dream of the WOLVES which have third eyes on their forehead and human faces … they are wonderful spiritual beings with me. One of them relax next to the real wolf.

  182. I had a really weird dream it started off in a large body of water like an ocean in the middle of the night i was stranded swimming then sharks and a white wolf come out of no were, the wolf followes me and the sharks swim near me then i find a dock i cant get up at first the sharks dissapear but the wolf is still following me it comes up next to me and just stays there swimming stares at me, i put my finger in its mouth to see if it will bite me and it dosnt then i find the strength to climb dock when i get up im in the back yard of the house i grew up in i go inside and right after i close the door i hear wut i assumed to be hooligans in the back yard when i go back out to check it out the dock is gone along with the water i go towards the bushes where i hear the noise from, then two of my friends walk out we all start laughing until a women walks out of the bushes and asks theme for her baby then i notice that one of my friends is holding a baby with blood on its mouth and elbow he gives it to her she says o my god you are the worst baby sitters ever what did you do then they say they put it in the garbage and point at this garbage pale with broken glass in it then i wake up can sombody tell me what this means i always have weird crazy randome dreams but none so vivid and realistic

  183. Hi, last night I had a very intense dream. I woke short of breath but calm. It was night time and I was laying on the grass watching the night when suddenly a there was a flimsy wire fence with a jet black wolf in front of me, then I could feel hot breath in the middle of my lower back and see its a white/grey wolf there, then the white/grey wolf rests his head on my lower back and starts growling. The vibrations from the growling got so intense and I was starting to panic and that’s when I woke up out of breath but calm and its been in the back of my mind all day, can anyone shed some light on its representation or meaning please.

  184. In a resting state during an trauma release acupuncture session (my first ever), I experienced (behind closed eyes) a vision of a single eye looking at me and blinking. It was the eye of an animal –a wolf or coyote. The vision appeared as though under red light. Then the eye seemed to spin and then the vision morphed. The wolf/coyote was looking away from me and I was looking out in the same direction as the wolf, my line of sight just above the wolf’s head and positioned between his ears. This second part of the vision was not in red, but nothing was visible in the distance that I can recall.

Any thoughts? Accessing a third eye? Meaning for this? It was very profound.

  185. ok, this may seem a little weird but I have seen white wolves before, when I was conscious and in dreams. I have questioned myself for being insane by seeing them but I know I’m not because my twin sister sees it too. the first time I came in contact with the wolf was very different from how I see it now, now it comes to me in flashes like a split second or sometimes longer, but the very first encounter happened with me and my twin sister together. We were alone at our house on the trampoline messing around when I got tired and so did she. we layed down on the trampoline and stared up at the sky. It was when I looked up to tell her something when I noticed it. a huge snow white wolf with a jet black nose and eyes like I had never seen, beautiful sky blue. it scared the crap out of me at first so I told my sister to look up and she did so. the wolf seemed to be slightly injured as it watched us but neither me nor my sister said a word or made a single movement. the wolf turned as our mom drove into the driveway and ran away. since then me and my sister have both seen this wolf although in my eyes it is no longer injured but seems to share an aware emotion every time it flashes as if telling me what to do. the most recent sighting was just two days ago and the wolf seemed to be telling me to stay alert as if trouble was waiting somewhere. in a way I see the wolf as a guide but I start thinking I am going crazy everytime I see it and the memory of the encounter blurs even more. I still have a clear memory of the occurance but it only seems more and more like a unusual dream of a child. I come back to the realization by asking my sister if she still sees it and sure enough, she still does. I don’t know if you believe in ghosts but the wolf is not the only being that I have seen

  186. A few months ago my uncle was killed. He meant alot to me. In a dream i had seen a picture of him in a room. When i left the room i saw a bright furry white wolf looking straight at me. I didnt feel fear. I felt as if i knew him. And just a few days ago. A white wolf appeared in my nieghborhood. And walked around my house. Does it have anything to do with my dream or any superstitions from this?

  187. Hi
In the last 12 months wolves have been appearing in my waking life, more so since Christmas and I get a sense that I am being sent a message. I have three such photographs in my living room and quite a big dream catcher with wolves as the illustration. I also have them as a screen saver on my phone. I even felt compelled to buy two jigsaw puzzles again of wolves. I have been undertaking some research and have read through your literature and all of the comments. Nonetheless I still feel I am missing something. I have never dreamt of wolves. I was out today and saw three. A month ago a black wolf appeared on its own as i mad my way into Chester town Centre. i looked around but could not find an owner. The wolf looked at me and I was mindful not to startle it and it then walked off. I have actually knelt down and stroked two varoations of wolf and they responded very well towards me. I feel the wolf is talking to me but saying what?

I am really confused and would appreciate some guidance please

    1. Hey Anne, I just read your story and can totally relate to what you are saying. I moved into a new townhouse last May and that’s when I started hearing/seeing things. After being woken up night after night, I finally got a snapshot of something in the darkness of my bedroom. When I adjusted the lighting, it revealed 4 native Americans with wolf headdresses coming out of my mirror. Since then I’ve been receiving pictures of dogs, wolves, and me flying some spaceship looking thing with dogs & wolves running alongside me and an invisible train full of people behind me. I cannot figure out what it is they are trying to tell me and feel exactly like you…. somewhat lost. We should correspond sometime and compare stories/share pictures.

  188. I feel connected to wolves. It is the moon, I think. Some time ago I had a very interesting dream that I still don’t really know what to think about.

I was travelling the country and people were telling me I am a healer everywhere I went and wanted me to help them, but I thought they’re just superstitious. I came to a village where everyone kept a wolf in a tiny cage in their yard. They told me that this is how they tamed the land. I told them this is unnatural and they’re supposed to be free. After speaking about it at lenghts I realized the people just enjoy seeing the wolves trapped. I went house to house and set each wolf free. They were stressed out of their minds in their cages and often jumped to attack me when I opened the door, but I stepped aside and pushed them to the ground using their own strenght. My touch instantly calmed them and they just wandered off. There was a smaller dark grey one that didn’t and wanted to stay with me. So we travelled together. People were afraid and kept telling me to put him on a leash. I knew it was safe, we were connected and he’d never do anything I wouldn’t do in his place. I just thought they’re being stupid.

Then in a forest I came across a frightening man. He was huge, dressed in dirty white and had an axe. There was a wolf with him, big but seriously underfed, white but dirty just as him. He mistreated the wolf terribly, it was injured and he was still beating it to make it obey. The wolf was crazy with fear and was biting all around. This man spotted us. He wanted to take my wolf to “train” him. I was terrified and everything in me shouted RUN, but I saw the poor white wolf and knew I have to do something. I told him I will take better care of his wolf. He just laughed and set the wolf to attack. My wolf went to meet him and the man swung his axe at me, which I dodged – I wasn’t armed and I’m a small-ish girl, so it was a bit unbalanced. I was trying to get some sort of advantage, but he was really fast and I barely managed not to get hit. Our wolves fought as well. Then I saw blood on white fur. I screamed “STOP” and jumped right in the middle of the fight to tear them apart. The white wolf was bleading heavily, but was still trying to fight me even as he lay on the ground while I tried to do something about his wound. I was sick with fear, but knew I have to do something. He bit me and our blood mixed, but that wasn’t important, the wolf was important – I just kept holding him firmly. I remembered what all the people told me about being a healer. I really needed to do something. And then… I just knew. I reached somewhere above and elsewhere and then felt myself be the wounded wolf. And I just allowed everything calm down and heal. At least in the body. The mind was broken too. I knew everything that’s happened to this wolf. It was going to take a lot of time to heal this but me and my wolf will do anything we can.

I stood up and picked the white wolf up like a child. The man was still trying to threaten me, but I was in no mood for that and told him a couple of pretty rude things that left him speachless. Then I turned my back on him and carried the white wolf in my arms, while the dark one was faithfully by my side.

  189. Mine is a little different. I had a dream that i was on a pilgrimage through the desert (with some friends of mine) and i reached an Indian Camp. At the camp their was a chief and he told me that i must drink from the cup he provided. It was snakes blood. I felt as though i was dying, my vision blurred, my insides writhed in agony.
A distant voice came to me, guiding me on, telling me “that i will make it through this”. The voice got stronger as i concentrated on it and then i saw the voice take the form of a magnificent wolf, he was knowing, i’m honestly unsure about color – it was not a focal point, but his mane was inspiring, impressive and magnanimous.
As I had seen the wolf my vision slowly returned, and i could make out the Indian Chief drawing the exact same wolf face i had just seen on a large piece of parchment as if he was able to see through my own eyes. At this point all note of the poison dropped from existence, i felt weightless and began to glow, enlightened with this new knowledge.

This happened two weeks ago and i can remember it as if it were yesterday.

  190. ➡ I’ve had once a dream that I was being attacked by aggressive wild cats and then a whole pack of beautiful grey wolves came to protect me from the attacks. Can someone tell me if it is good or bad? 😯 ❗ 😛

    1. Could be either or, in general it sound like you’ve made enemies, but you’ve got good friends that will help you when you need it. So, I would say it’s good & to keep an eye out for those cats.

    2. Before deciding if the dream is “good or bad”, it may be helpful to first look up the symbolism of wild cats in your dreams. If the cats are your “enemy” in the dream, understanding the meaning of each wild cat, as well as that of the wolf (like on this page), may help guide you to understand why such powerful spirit animals are reaching out to you in your dreams. Just a thought! 😉 💡 🙂

  191. hi! I dreamed of a black wolf who swallowed a gold. And in my dream I killed the wolf and got the gold and i saw lots of baby wolves apart from that I saw a black bear that wanted to eat the baby wolves but I killed the balck bear. Is that a bad dream or already a nightmare?

    1. Could possibly be your spirit guide making you aware that they are there. research more on just the white wolf or artic wolf. you will find you answer

  192. I had a dream a weird really big animal was trying to get my child and I was fighting it on one side and on the other side a white wolf was fighting it! It was protecting me and my child!

  193. I had a dream I was standing outside my front door it was mid morning/night, and looking over to my left was a White Wolf. The wolf stood still just looking at me, I wasn’t scared in my dream of this wolf. And the wolf came up to me and then I woke up. I’ve never had a dream of a wolf before, let a lone seen one. I’m curious of what this means.

  194. Hi guys,
I also have the wolf as a spirit totem, and had a dream months ago and still felt like I had it last night.
I was outside my house- in the midle of a blizzard, no less- when a single raven started flying around me, and left. I followed it outside the property when it led me to a single white wolf, and then vanished. It was a good size too; it looked like it knew a thing or two about people. The wolf was ready to attack, and being a martial artist, along with instincts, I quickly realized this, and we both lept on each other. When I grabbed it, I took it down to the ground and immediately let up, somehow knowing that the wolf had enough. With it still in my arms, it then had a small “conversation” with me, like I knew what it was saying. Then, shadows of sorts started quickly creeping up on us, and we both knew we had to fight these shadows, whatever they were. Before I even had the chance to move, I suddenly woke up, sweating a bit and breathing heavily.
I kind of had a bit of experience with the whole spirit thing beforehand, now I’m struggling to know aas much as I can about these beautiful wonders of the world. There’s just so much to ask, and if I could get some clarification as to what I spiritually experienced, it would mean a lot to me.

  195. Last night I did a little meditation to try and let my spirit animal come to me and i went to sleep and had a dream. I don’t remember much of the circumstance or what was going on, all I remember is walking side by side with a beautiful wolf like in the picture on the left. I reached down and he (or she) looked up at me and looked as if he were smiling and then pushed his head under my hand to get me to pet him. What exactly does that mean? It doesn’t look to me like anyone else has experienced a similar dream so I was just wondering. ~many blessings <3

  196. So last night I had a dream of a black vicious wolf with yellow eyes running then I realized the wolf and I were one what exactly does this mean

  197. 😐 ➡ 💡 😉 🙄 😈 😡 😆 😕 😕 😯 😮 ❗ 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 🙁 😛 ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓

  198. I had a dream that I was sitting on the couch looking outside, and three black wolves walk in front of the window. One sees me, gets the others attention, and they stand on their hind legs and put their front paws on the window. They all start growling at me but then the one in the middle stops growling and just looks at me like he’s known me all his life. They all had silver around their faces, but he had the brightest, almost metallic silver. I instinctively knew the genders and that the one in the middle was alpha. And yet that’s how he saw me. I looked into the alpha’s hypnotizing silver eyes, saw a look of love, and the dream ended. If anyone can help me figure out what that means, I would be grateful. Thanks, Namara

  199. savannah rauls/ Midnight werewolf 07

  200. Is there any symbolism associated with the boxes on the right of the comments (the midsize box with art work)? You may have it posted, but not sure where to look for it. Thank you.

  201. This was in the quotation box and really fits me. “Learn to balance the responsibility of family needs without losing your identity. Use wolf medicine to develop strength and confidence in your decisions. -Wolf”

How does one use wolf medicine to develop strength and confidence in decisions?

  202. I used to have dreams that I was chasing a pack of wolves, they would turn around and look at me and stop and wait but I could never catch up…..
I have always had a sense that I was somewhat of an outcast, lonely..& I don’t have much family. I think the dream represents that I’m just trying to belong to something….

  203. I dreamt that a wolf was outside a window and I inside. Only a screen was between us. At first I thought it was a dog, then realized a wolf. I was scared at first, but then the wolf came through the screen like a ghost. She started licking my hair and pulling at it also. I was a bit frightened but allowed her to do so. Then she was inside my dream as I dreamed something else and finally became a thought in my subconscious.
The one wolf became three. One went inside my head, the other in my heart, and the last one in my solar plex.

I only instinctively knew that the wolf was a female and she was grey with a bit of white and she was also on the smaller side too!

If someone capable of interpreting can help me, please do so.

I feel it was a great blessing give me strength in my mind, heart and protection.

  204. So now every once and again in my dreams im walking in the streets at night and I suddenly hear wolves howling. After the howling stops like a min after this huge black wolf comes out of nowhere and tries to attack me but this white wolf tackles it away from me and the two of them begin fighting.

  205. In meditation, I had two separate visions of a wolf. One in which I was running, and I simply understood myself to be a wolf. In the second, I was on one knee and a grey wolf ran into my arms, its head close to mine. It howled and I could feel it resonating through me.

  206. Few years back i was in my room. It was dark. There appeared three wolves. Since then ive advocated for wolves and have been their voice. The thing is I have been advocating for them for four years. The wolf in me wants to be in nature and hear its brothers and sisters howl. I am not near wolves. They trouble my mind, heart and soul. They make me sad. My wolf guide or spirit is with me in public to and I feel uncomfortable that I need to get home. The fact that I can’t help them makes me sad and I want the feeling to go away. The wolf is in me and I cant really handle the wolf because it’s to strong. I dont want to push the wolves away either because I care about them. It will sadden the wolf if I send it away. He let’s me know insight to things and perception. I haven’t yet learned to deal with that. I am asking the wolf to show me peace instead of fear. This is a new step I believe.

  207. a grey wolf has appeared to me twice when i was in a very depressive state it broke through in a bright white light out of my body in a dream/vision, the next day i felt better about myself and the world around me, and cycling home from work that night i had another vision of the wolf running alongside my bike, the day after that i was out of the depressive state and happy again, since then i always feel the presence of the wolf beside me. Basically guys if you have a wolf as a spirit animal he will come to you when you need him most, concentrate and meditate and you will find the answer 😀

  208. Had a dream about white/grey wolves that were hanging around the house. They seemed non threatening and I even got my gun but my gun did not work and was mad at the fact that my gun did not fire while bullets were already loaded kinda odd. The wolves didnt even notice. What kind of dream was this?

  209. Hi
My dream is very simple. There is a grey in my house. I don’t feel threatened because the wolf is actually trying to get out of the house.
It is a simple dream yet I am finding the meaninig elusive.

  210. Hi my name is eriq i wondering if you could help me. I had a dream that i was alone and it was dark but then a wolf came i sat there dident know what it wanted then it came up to my and say down next to me like to keep me company then it howled loud and for some reason after that i felt safe .

    1. Hello eriq: Your Wolf was announcing the arrival of your new spirit guide. Learn all you can about Wolf medicine.

    1. Hello Kayla; A silver Wolf represents the feminine aspects of Wolf Medicine. She is associated with the search for meaning and fulfillment, as well as prestige and wealth.

  211. javascript:grin(‘’) I have never gone any were with out seeing a wolf in my mind but i have never seen one in real life not even in the wolf cage at the zoo. i have made it my life to follow the path of the wolf. 🙄

  212. My spirit animal and I always talk to each other. Now I know that I always have someone to talk to when I have trouble. I just recently found him.

  213. I once had a dream of a black wolf and a white wolf next to a large water fall both looking at me……….White symbolizes puirty and goodness right…………….What does black symbolize again……………………………………………I night-time………………….I think…………..LOL

    1. Hello Sam: Black wolves often represent the need to trust the message of Wolf and her teachings. Integrate all the Wolf knowledge you can into your life and yourself. The Black Wolf understands how to use the power of Wolf medicine.

  214. Hi everyone!
I have always loved wolves and recently I took a Spirit Animal quiz to find out what my Spirit Animal was. It was a wolf. Weeks after the quiz, we (me and my mom) were in a resteraunt eating supper. I was looking around the room when I saw a man with a large tatoo of a wolf on his arm. The wolf was staring right at me and I felt as if it were reading my soul. The waitress came then and I had to look away to order. When I looked back to see the wolf again, the man was gone. Any imput on this would be great.
    Thanks,
    Lucille. : – )

    1. Hi. I found out that my spirit animal was a wolf And i always talk to him. Its suprizes me that we both actually have a lot in common.

    2. Hi Lucille: Pay attention to the message at the top of the page in the quotation box when you return to this page. You will find that the message from Wolf will be specific to you.

    3. I looked at the message @ the top of the page. “Listen to your inner thoughts and trust your insight.” WOW! like Anakin in the Phantom Menace (Podracing). 😀

    1. Hello Amelia: To see a black wolf in your dream represents your shadow. There are characteristics of the wolf that you are refusing to acknowledge or incorporate into your Self. I would say this that once you incorporate these positive belief’s and traits that it will be a good thing.

  215. Hi there,
I have always felt deep connections with my dreams and normally, I can figure out a meaning or two that make sense. However, this one had me a bit confused.
I was in the country somewhere in the front yard of an older farm house.
I looked about and saw a lone white (kind of scruffy) running back and forth in this gravel driveway, facing me.
At first, I felt a bit timid, but then I felt a bid sad because it seemed to be young and possibly lost from his mother.
It made me want to help him find them, but knew better not to interfere.
Next thing I remember, across the country road from the house, there was a wooden fence post and wire fencing enclosing what seemed to be a wheat field. There, in a opening in the fence were two wolves that showed up and I was so happy thinking it was white wolfs’ mom and sibling. I was so relieved he would be okay, but then, the “mom” wolf (which was the typical wolf coloring) started bearing down on the white wolf, and then the other wolf started attacking as well. At first I thought it was the typical wolf behavior of “the order” of a wolf pack, but it then turned out too violent, and had me very upset/sad.. And if I’m not mistaken, the wolf that showed up that I believed to be a sibling, might have been black.
I just can’t wrap my mind around this dream, and really hoping for some information if you could possibly help.
    Thank you so much!
    Tina

    1. When im alone I see a Pure black wolf and in all my Dreams he/she is there. I saw him today when I was in the woods alone

    2. Hi Tina: There seems to be some sort of lesson there about Bullying. Even family members can be bullying toward someone who may be more “sensitive” or artsy. I would look to see how this self applies.

  216. 😕 I have a reoccurring dream where I am alone in the woods and a wolf approaches me and I kneel down on one knee and bow. He stares back at me and does the same. We look into each others eyes for what seemed like forever and I feel an over welcoming since of comfort. Then he walks away and I normally wake up at that moment. Its like I saw his soul and he saw mine raw and true. I have had this dream since I was 16 I am now 25 almost 26.

  217. I once had a dream that I was was going to a carnival and it had forest surrounding it, and on the outskirts of the carnival, I saw a lone wolf! I bet near a carnival is the last place you’d find a wolf. But there he was, only eating flies swarming around him, but he didn’t look sickly. Then I felt bad and then told the wolf, “why don’t you go into the forest and hunt a deer? Wolves like deer you know.”. Then I went to the carnival and enjoyed it for a while. When I went out of the grounds, I saw the same wolf chasing after a deer that was about to get away, so I scared the deer into going the wolf’s way. I succeed, and when the deer went down, the wolf howled in excitement. He let me join him in the feast, and reminded me that I have my part and he has his. We both felt stronger after our meal.

  218. I dreamt black wolf was in bed with me cuddling as my partner. At times I accepted it, others I’d try to get away as he was heavy and suffocating but if I moved he’d move with me. I’d talk to it but all it would do was stare at me with big yellow eyes. No threat in them, just love and protection & a bit of wearyness. 😯

    1. Hello Beatriz…will you please ask yourself these questions?
Have you been wondering if you honestly want a mate and or a life teacher, whether or not you’re in a relationship? Could it be that you do not wish to give up control in some area of your life? Do you believe that male energy is here to protect you, or are you mistrusting it? I have doubts he would actually suffocate you…but perhaps it is just your fears of the unknown holding you back from what calls you…in a good way. Are you resisting exploring the Great Mystery within you? I believe that Black Wolf may represent a Matriarchal influence wishing to guide and protect you. I sense that he will see you through thick and thin…always there to enable you to face your fears and false beliefs. I also believe he will teach you how to gain closure of unhealthy situations in your life….guiding you to learn about healthier boundaries with some of those in your life…a key person even.
By your description it sounds like your spirit guide has been patient with you for awhile…I sense you may be feeling as if you’re running late. I feel he keeps you safe as you explore spiritual ground you may never have encountered in any of your past lives…at the same time he is here to remind you to explore more of your purpose.
I think it’s possible that you mistook a friend as the enemy but are now discovering that the ‘enemy’ is an excellent ally. I see this as meaning you have got the courage it takes to grow. May I suggest that you express yourself to someone special more than you have in the past? Thank you for sharing your dream 🙂

  219. i dreamt that a white wolf came to my bedroom window through the fog. I went to get closer but then i a was awakened.

    1. 😀 Hello Nathaly your reply struck a chord with me. I associate white wolf with the north direction. What does north mean for you? To me white is wisdom, purity and innocence. I feel that others see a teacher in you…it would show in your eyes. If you don’t feel that, then it’s a possible potential for you. I’m taught that fog is one’s ancestors coming in close to help guide you..to comfort you…to protect you. I feel not a coincidence that you were awakened, but you’re moving closer to another truth about who you are spiritually. I feel that Wolf knows when one is ready to wake up spiritually, and is with you now that you’ve dreamed her/him.

  220. So I have many dreams of wolves. This one I have been having for about a week now. It’s the same thing over and over. I’m running through a forest, not away from a wolf, but more like with it. He is a multi-colored wolf. We come to a river and he stops running way before I do, and I stop at the banks of the river. When I turn around, he is running at me, then jumps into my chest, and by chest I mean like my heart. Dreams I have had in the past include me being in the desert alone surrounded by either a single wolf, or many. They then began to speak to me in a Native American tongue. I’m confused by what they mean. Please someone help me.

    1. Hello Justin: The Wolf is a very powerful teacher. Take the time to study the Wolf Totem and all of it’s aspects and incorporate his teachings into your daily life. The wolf in your dream is representative of your fear of taking the next step in your life. You are a teacher yourself and have a great deal of wisdom to share with the world. Your fear is in being wrong and in failing. Understand that there is no right and wrong – only the correct message for those who need to hear it. Failure is merely a lesson learned and we go onward to the next lesson.

I have always dreamt of wolves. For a long while it stopped. Now i have been dreaming of walking threw a forest dark but moon shining threw the trees and clouds. On my walk i feel i am being watched. When i stop to look i see this huge black wolf with pericing blue eyes. At first i want to run because he is huge. But i cant move my legs. I stand there and the wolf walks up to me. Circles me once and then stands in front of me and stares into my eyes with his. I move my right hand out to him he sinffs it then rubs his head into my hand i scrath him behide his ear and then he moves his head looks at me again and then turns around and leaves. I have no idea how to take this. Please help.

    1. Hello Michelle: Your message from the Black Wolf is to learn to embrace what you perceive as negative traits within yourself and use them in positive ways. For instance – if you have a habit of procrastinating on things – recognize that we procrastinate when we feel overwhelmed. List the things that are overwhelming you and then simply prioritize the top five. The rest will melt away and soon everything will be caught up. So make the changes and feel good about yourself. Embrace who you are and work with yourself in positive ways.

  222. In my meditation, i was in a forest at night. I met a white, slightly grey wolf. We stared at each other with understanding. I had the impression to “be brave.” I Felt the lone wolf was taking me on my next part of my journey. thoughts?

    1. Hello Jr: Your Wolf is there as a Totem to help you with the next phase of your life. Keep your eyes pealed for people around you that can teach you about new aspects of yourself.

  223. Hello,
I just woke up from a dream and it was a dream filled with strangers and a black wolf. I was in this house completely unfamiliar to me and everyone was freaking out that there was a wolf attacking people. But when I went outside I was not attacked, the wolf made it’s way inside and I was still not attacked, I was frightened but not hurt. Others however were attacked. What does this mean? I used to dream of wolves as a little girl but never black or a lone wolf. I have always loved wolves and have partitioned for wolf rights, they are my favorite animal and always have been but my dreams of them are few and far between. Who or what does this black wolf represent?

    1. Hello Lexi: The black wolf represents the shadow aspects of your own personality. You live in fear of unconsciously attacking others verbally – without meaning to. Always afraid of saying the wrong thing. Especially when you meet strangers. As a result you know that you come across awkward and will fail to make a good first impression. Take the time to ground yourself when meeting new people, set the intention to create a great first impression, and just go ahead and meet new people. It will take time – but your confidence will build.

  224. I too was in a trance just a few hours ago, but I’m finally snapping outta it.
I went outside to my front porch for a cigarette at about 2am. Before I sat down, I leaned over the railing because I had to spit. Before I could even open my mouth, I heard and sensed something coming closer to me and…I froze in my steps…
There was this white wolf walking very slowly down the road towards me. He saw me at the exact moment I saw him. I felt terrified, yet protected somehow.
He stopped dead in his tracks; his eyes were piercing me. Not in a threatening way though…It felt comforting. We stood there making eye contact for only about 2 seconds, and then he slowly started walking away. I knew my husband was still watching tv right in the front entrance, so Once the wolf was a good distance away, (but still in sight) I opened the front door and told my husband to look at this beautiful creature.
By the time I turned my head back around to show him .. It was gone. He explained we don’t have wolves around here either, only coyotes and smaller wildcats.
I know this was a wolf though.. He was beautiful and white and glowing almost…
After seeing him, i came inside to try to go back to sleep, and i am just shaking off this trance-like feeling now… 4 hours later. When i awoke from this feeling my eyes were pouring tears and my hands were holding my cellphone looking at pictures. I feel like i just woke up from a deep sleep though.
How long have i been on my cellphone? was this all a dream? What does this mean even if it is only a dream. My husband says I didn’t seem like I was sleep walking and dreaming.
Please let me know any thoughts you may have about this!

    1. Hello Emily: Sometimes we hold onto our emotions so that we don’t have to feel them. Your visit by the beautiful White Wolf gave you the gift of releasing some old emotions that were stuck in your body. It was a gift of healing. Embrace it and allow yourself to feel all the different emotions that come up for the next while so that they can be released and let go of. You don’t have to attach them to any incident or person – simply feel and let go.

  225. 1. Hello Hannahly: In the first part of your dream the Wolves are bringing the message that you have to be careful to balance your thoughts about the material world with a focus and faith in the spiritual world. You are on the right path…. keep up the good work! The second part reflect the uncertainty you feel about your path and the fear that you will ruin things through self sabotage. It also seems that you are not getting all the family support that you desire.

  226. Last night when meditating for the first time in years a wolf came to me. I was listening to a guided imagery that talked about spirit guides and then she came into my vision. I thought it was a fox at first but then it became clearer that it was a wolf. When I spoke with my husband he said he thought my spirit guide would be a fox since I’m not a fighter like a wolf but it seems that the wolf means much more. Do you have any insight or advice with exploring this? I am new to all of this and am open to any input anyone has. thanks…

    jen

    1. Hello Jennifer: Any animal can be a fighter if cornered. Trust your vision and embrace the teaching of your Wolf Spirit guide.

    2. Hi Silken Raven. Thank you for your reply. I have been seeking more information both on-line and in my heart about this and still cannot discern which animal is my spirit guide right now. My friend who knows more about this says you can have many spirit guides and they can change over time so maybe both the fox and the wolf are trying to speak to me…I am open to what the universe, my spirit guides and anyone on here has to offer me in the form of wisdom and encouragement. thank you…

  227. Hi
I would like to tell you about an incident. I was in a trance meditation state and I saw this greyish white coloured wolf (not even sure if it was real, I mean it was glowing ghostly like). It stood there so peacefully and calm. Regal and solid. It looked every bit fierce and as I was approaching the wolf I was not scared though I acknowledged his (I had a strong feeling it was male) presence as a possible danger. And then I remember walking up to the wolf and putting my arms around his neck. His neck seemed to relax visibly and I nuzzled the wolf for a bit. He had intelligent eyes. Does this mean I have met my spirit animal guide? I was unable to get a name or anything else.

Help me please. Thank you in advance

    1. Hello Emily: You have met one of your spirit guides. It will take a bit of time to establish your ability to communicate with him. Believe and trust the messages your receive through empathy, visions, clairaudience and sentience.

  228. I’ve been seeing a white wolf and it has a mournful howl… I’ve been wondering if it is a mirror of me or is it something else? i see it at school and at home…but no one else sees it what does this mean?

    1. Hello Charlie Rae: Embrace your white Wolf. He is going to be with you for a while. There are are spiritual lessons to be learned – so look for the spiritual meaning in all the things that surround you right now. He will lead you on a personal journey of self discovery. Come from a place of personal integrity.

  229. Several months ago , I was driving up my driveway and caught a glimpse of a white-ish colored wolf standing to the side. I couldn’t believe my eyes, but my daughter’s boyfriend saw the wolf as well.

This past Friday night, I heard a wolf howl 3 separate times during the night. It sounded like the howls came from 3 different area of our property. I know I wasn’t hearing things as all the dogs in the neighborhood were barking. What does this mean?

    1. Seeing a black wolf is seeing your own dark side.
You face a decision that you feel, will make you appear to be evil.
Face the wolf, do not fear him. For he is you. Maybe together you can find peace.

  230. I keep seeing a gray(grey) wolf in my dreams. He is always beside me protecting me from harm and etc I am not even sure what it means to be honest with you. I have asked many people they keep telling me they don’t know or just refuse to tell me.

    1. Hello Livia: To see a grey Wolf means that you have to find balance in the teachings the wolf has to offer. There are some aspects of the Wolf that represent the shadow or dark side of life – and only with acceptance and integration can you become all you can be. The past is gone – but embrace it as a part of you.

  231. I dreamt last night that I was followingn a white-ish timber wolf down a snowy forest trail. She then stopped and looked back at me expectantly to keep following her. Then I woke up. There were no sounds or words and no communication except for that look. Did I meet my spirit animal?

    1. Hello Rachel: Yes you have met one of your Spirit Animals. She is offering you wisdom if you follow her path and believe in her teachings.

  232. I dreamed about a white wolf looking out of dark woods and growling mad., the wolf was illuminated. I confronted it anxiously, raised my arms and hollered confidently that I could make it back off. What does it mean?

  233. I had a dream recently in which I was confronted by a pack of wolves. I wasn’t alone, although I don’t remember who was in the group with me. I do remember that no one was attacked except for me. A wolf bit my hand and wouldn’t let go, but I felt no pain at all. He was just there, still, biting my hand and I couldn’t get it out, but again, with no pain or panic. I then proceeded to hit the wolf in the head with a rock untill he let go and just laid there in the ground at my feet. I saw some blood but I believe that the wolf was not dead, he just laid there still. I walked away and the rest of the pack was still there but with no violence or aggression at all. Last thing I remember is walking up feeling very sad for hitting the wolf. An opinion on this would be very usefull and appreciated. Thank you.

    1. Hello Alexis: The wolf has come to you several times in the role of a teacher – yet you have refused it’s help with your lessons. You need to be more accepting of the wisdom that is offered you at this time. You are betraying your own spiritual growth by turning a blind eye to the wisdom that is offered.

  234. Hello, recently my granddaughter felt as is she was being followed here in the house and got an unnervery feeling as she stated that ran up her back. We have several orbs in our house that cause no fear so I played it off as just that. Today she came to me and said that this uneasiness was revealed to her today as a black wolf named Elizabeth. Elizabeth is her spirit animal. The last spirit animals were dragons and hawks. They routinely visit her and she feels perfectly comfortable with any/all. I welcome your comments..

  235. I had a lucid dream where I came face to face with a wolf and it was white/gray and was looking me dorectly in the eyes and then merged with me and I was looking around through the eyes of this wolf as I woke up. I have recently been listening to the DEVA PROJECT David Ison – Healing Magic tapes with headphones while I sleep. This dream has me awstruck

  236. I had a dream last night. I saw a grey/black wolf which was alone. It seemed to be looking for something. The dream had no sounds so I didn’t know whether it was walking or pacing around. What does it mean?

    1. Hello Jolene: The Wolf was letting you know that you have to stop looking for your answers vicariously. Those of us who go inward will find all the answers are simply just there already. Only you know what is right for you.

    2. For some weird reason all my spirit animal related dreams only come when I’m about to wake up. Sometimes I’m even half awake. Just wondering whether it’s connected.

  237. Hi, I wanted to share my discovery of my spirit animal, the timber wolf. My first encounter with the wolf was in a time when I was close to depression. My friends were pushing me out of our friend group and I didnt trust anyone. That night I dreamt I was sprinting through a bright oak forest. I wasnt scared or being chased, I was just running for the pure fun of it. As I was running, I was getting faster and faster until it was hard to dodge the trees. Then all of a sudden, it was easy. I could sense then that I was a wolf, even though I couldnt see myself. I could sense everything in the forest and smell everything. The feeling was a feeling of joy and freedom that I had never experienced. I then woke up and at once realised that the wolf is who I am and I need to accept that people will have misconceptions of me and I need to stick with my fanily in times of struggle. Its hard to explain how, but I felt that everything made sense suddenly, like a haze had been lifted from my life. Since then the wolf has appeared many times. However all the spirit guide sites talk about seeing wolves not being them and I have always been a wolf, wether in a pack or on my own. What are yiur thoughts on being a wolf rather than seeing one?

    1. Hello Luna: It is only the human ego that stops us from becoming all that we can be. Our intellect believes that we are human and that we are the wisest ones on earth. It never stops to consider that we are all one with all species. You are fortunate to be able to fully integrate your Wolf totem.

  238. I see spirits and demons and until recently never knew of spirit animals too much. Well I have had a very fearful mental impression of a black wolf in my house that is always watching me. Scares the crap out of me. Never SAW him but knew there was a wolf. I had an empath give me a reading a couple months ago and she mentioned the black wolf and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I learned of shadow animals today and wonder of that is what I’ve been sensing? It said shadow animals are there to help but if ignored can become dangerous. .what does that mean? Dangerous how?? I can’t figure out what message or lesson he is trying to convey

    1. Hello Tiffany: Your gift of being able to see spirits and demons is a little unsettling to you. The black Wolf is representative of the fears you have about this shadow world. Embrace the Black Wolf as your protector and he will transform those fears through an inner understanding of the machinations of the eternal struggle of darkness and light. The only danger you are in is one of allowing your fears to get the best of you. Embrace it and you will wonder what you were afraid of in the first place.

  239. For as long as I can remember the white wolf has been visiting my dreams. She usually makes her presence known in times of great stress. I have never felt fear or uneasy around her. A couple nights ago I dreamt I was going into a motor home with my fiance and wolves were howling back and forth to each other outside. There was no door on the home just a piece of leather. I told my fiance that tonight wasn’t the night to be out. The whole time the howling was making me very uneasy and even scared. This confuses me because I have always embraced the wisdom and courage of the wolf. I know in my waking life I have felt like I had to defend my fiance from my family’s unfounded attacks and deceptiveness.

    1. Hello Donna: Your feeling of being unsettled and uneasy is symbolic of your inner wisdom knowing that the one you are trying to help at this time should really be allowed to help themselves instead. The wolves are letting you know that allowing other to fend for themselves is key to their personal growth. There are no lessons for them if we filter their experiences.

  240. Hi, I was told that my spirit animal is a wolf (I think grey). I sometimes get the feeling that the wolf is rubbing his fur on my face. I had a dream about a wolf walking slowly up a flat rock. When he reached the top, he looked up to the moon and started to howl. This dream was a one dimensional and the wolf was black and there was no sound so I didn’t actually hear him howl at the moon. Can you tell me if this means anything?
    Thanks

    Remo

    1. Hello Remo: I believe this dream is letting you know that you are ignoring the needs of the most important person in your life. You are not listening to yourself and addressing your own needs. Listen to your heart and body and give love, compassion and understanding to yourself.

  241. Hi, would you happen to know what it means that I dreamt of a black sort of panther that looked kind of vicious. He was walking inside a cage, steel structure with glass that reached all the way to the ceiling, so the cage was closed from the front. He came in from the back side. I was standing as a viewer on the side of the glass. Suddenly there was a young grey wolf in the middle of the cage, not a puppy but like 6 months to a year old I would say. The black creature went for his head and punctured it with his sharp hook teeth and looked at me while he killed the wolf. I felt horrible when I woke up!
Then 2 days later I dreamt of walking in nature, somewhere with green hills and trees, by moonlight. Suddenly there is a small tennis court-cage, the door of it was slightly opened and inside there was a labrador dog standing. (Can’t remember if he was barking.) He was standing still and looking at me. I remembered I feared him, the way you fear a predator. But soon after he ran outside of the tennis cage in this happy way that dogs run and led me to an open area surrounded by trees. There was light coming from the sky and I saw an entity, with a female face. She made me feel (she didn’t speak) inside my mind that her name is “Aleda”. After researching I found it to mean “the small winged one”. My friend told me she is my spirit guide.
All of this happened within 3 weeks of starting to talk and pray to my spirit guides for the first time.
But what do the panther, wolf and labrador mean?
I really hope you can help me. Thank you for taking the time.

    Love,

    Elisaar

    1. Hello Elisar: The first part of your dream is about lurking danger and enemies wishing to do you harm. The Black panther is usually a symbol of power grace, and strength. In this case the wolf is killed for you by the black panther which is an indication that somehow you are being held back and that secrets are being kept from you.
The Labrador Retriever in your later dream signifies that you have made the right choice for yourself recently. Labrador Retriever

  242. Can’t really find much about the black wolf. I know the black wolf is my animal spirit. Can someone please tell me more about the black wolf animal spirit. Also can Someone tell me about the white wolf spirit. Can’t really find any information about those two spirits. What does it mean when your animal spirit is the black wolf and your spirit guide is the white wolf?

    1. Hello Standing Wolf:
Like the classic ying and yang symbol these two spirits represent the opposites of each other. Having both energies in your life represents the balance of these opposing energies.

Understanding the Wolf as a totem is important and you must embrace the shadow aspects as well as the aspects we perceive as “good”. Know that we are all the sum total of “good and evil” and that through our own integrity of spirit provide to others exactly what is needed in the moment. We are not here to judge – but to walk our own path in unconditional love and acceptance.

  243. Hi again, I have a few other questions about a few other dreams I had, but they don’t involve a wolf. They do involve other spirit animals though. May I ask them?

    1. Hi Katerina: Please post any questions you have about any animal totem on that particular animals page. Keep in mind that each page also has the quotation box at the top with at least five different messages for you. Generally an appropriate message will come up in the box for you. If the animal is not listed in our Site Map then please contact us by email with a request for an Animal Post on our Contact and Comments page.

  244. Hi, I had a white wolf in my dream. It was chasing me and my crush. It started to attack my crush and my crush told me to run, but I didn’t. I stayed and a strip of my hair turned white, and I confronted the wolf. P.s. my crush’s spirit animal is the wolf and he’s in this group where he sticks up for people who are being bullied. My crush is also one of my best friends. Could you tell me what this could possibly mean?

    1. Hi Katerina: “To see a white wolf in your dream signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours.” It means that you need to stop running away from something in your waking life and simply deal with it.

  245. I was just told I have a wolf totem I was talking to them for some reason I told them all about my liking wolves from early childhood, I use to play with the native Americans when I was a child then last night I heard a pack of coyotes seemed like in my back yard. I do live in the country , I heard them howl then what seemed like a little fight then it just stopped and was silent she said it has something to do with the trouble I am having with my family in ny so I bought a book and I am starting to read on I any insight I would appreciate. Thank you

    1. Wolves and Coyotes – although related to bring very different messages. For further insight – go to our page and pay close attention to the message in the quotation box. at the top of the page. There are at least five different messages that can appear here from Moth. The message that comes up for you in particular will send you in the right direction.

    1. A new path with your life is now open to you. The Wolf is letting you know that he will be there to carry you through it. Enjoy the journey and embrace the new world that is about to open up to you.

  246. I had a wolf dream last night. It started with a King and Queen who stayed in their castle and only focused on the present, but in a way that kept them stuck. They had long ago made some sort of pact not to talk about the past or think about the future. I was in the room with them but also felt like I was the Queen as well. There was some discussion about three blankets. One was the King’s and one was the Queen’s but they had been stitched together a long time ago (I think at the time the decision was made to only be in the present.) The blankets were very beautiful and colorful quilts and I was gently pulling them apart. At the same time I started to hear the Queen talk about her childhood being raised by wolves. I was shocked that she was remembering her past-in a good way. I placed each blanket over her shoulders and was about to reach for the third, a wolf skin/fur blanket, when I saw in my mind’s eye a pack of wolves running towards the castle. It was like the Queen’s memory had called or invited them. I have some thoughts about it but thought I’d see if anyone else has insights on this?

    1. I am thinking that the theme of past present and future is very strong in this dream so we should combine that with the wolves in it’s significance. The Wolf spirit is an incredible teacher and I believe that the dream is reminding you that you are in the past, present and the future all at the same time. Remaining in the present is a goal for many of us but we should also be aware that the present contains our past as well as our future. We are the sum of everything.
      best,
      Silken Raven

    2. Thank you, I was thinking along those lines as far as remembering and using the past. Then I thought of remembering who I really am and the word “birthright” flashed through my mind. The part about wolf energy that speaks to my the most is FREEDOM and it’s been what I’ve been craving. To do my own thing, walk my own path, etc. I am getting the sense that once I remember who I am (even me as a child,) I’ll start to see more movement…

  247. That’s interesting. I will think about this. I’ve been wondering a lot about it lately. I don’t think of wolves in nature as acting the way these people have. It’s like they alway chose the monster form of the wolf, almost distorted wolves, distorting it in ways I’ve never seen before. I did learn a lot… Actually, i grew a lot. I had a dream, the last dream i had about wolves ever, before i knew about spirit animals, in which i was a tiger and i was chasing these wolves away from me. It was the best and at that time most ridiculous dream i ever had because tigers terrified me at the time and so it was ridiculoys because i could never imagine being something as powerful as a tiger. I started learning all about them. I learned so much about their medicine, too. Tiger makes it’s own space, it’s own world, and I learned so much from this. I think tigers scared me because they are all about confidence and independence, and I’ve slowly been growing into that role as i recover from wolves and i start making art again and truly enjoying alone time. Perhaps wolf was just trying to warn me that there are people who will act like predators and I need to get away, or maybe trying to warn me that some people turn the wolf into a monster, or distort it because they don’t understand it. Maybe. Like, wolves hunt for food, these people were distorting it by hunting for… their egos? Not really sure why they were doing this. Anyway, thank you, I’m much more seeing and understanding the wolf now. And in life, I’m much farther from being “hunted.” I definitely want to learn all i can about this one spirit and about all animals, they have been so profound.

  248. Hello Brenda: All things happen for a reason, and it usually has to do with growth, spiritual connections and life path. You have had some difficult experiences with the wolf medicine – however if you look at the positive aspects of what wolf has repeatedly tried to teach you and learn from it you will be able to move forward with your life in leaps and bounds.

I would suggest that you are seeing the wolf in one of his most magnificent forms “the Teacher”. It seems like each of your “lessons” have become progressively more harsh and they will continue to do so until you “get it”. This is perhaps because each time you have been confronted with a similar situation you have responded in a similar way. Take the time to think things through and find a way to respond differently. You will get these lessons until you have gained a good self understanding of how to respond from a loving and non judgmental state of being.

Embrace the wolf next time, set your boundaries in a loving and forgiving manner and move on.

    best,
    Silken Raven

    1. Also it wasn’t that i wasn’t loving or forgiving, everyone usually associated me with doves (but i never felt that was right), i think i was too tolerant of people treating me horribly. People saw it as dove-ishness or love and peace, but it was really just fear, on my part. I learned that definitely and I defunitely have a strong base of empathy and ego suspension, patience and working things out when major problens arise in a relationship, but I’ve also learned that there are people who will want to take advantage of you and just won’t stop, no matter who understanding you are. These people i don’t let “feed” off of me anymore. I forgive them and I leave, even if it’s really painful to at first. And always my life moves forward and i progress a lot when i do. I forgive them, but i also protect myself from them, and I’m very shocked and pleased with myself for being strong enough to do this.

    2. I have been thinking about what you said for a while now. I had alcoholic and para-alcoholic parents, and I read an ACoC traits list and it fit me perfectly. I started cognitive behavioral therapy recently and it has been wonderful, especially the meditations, and made me increasingly aware. I was over-focusing on relationships and a desire for them, versus independence and indifference to them. This dependency personality trait, familiarity with abuse, and developed psychological problems allowed me to fall prey to these distorted relationships with cruel people incapable of loving as well as negative thoughts about myself and the world, which I believe were seen as violent/monstrous, frightening and peace-less wolves.
I do very much think the wolf was the teacher here: to teach about personal relationships and running with a pack. The wolves were distorted and frightening so that I would run /from/ them, not with them, and realize that they were bad (I had been familiar with “bad” relationships my whole life because of my family life and childhood and could not identify a bad relationship well nor did I think of bad relationships as something I shouldn’t be involved in, just something that was the way I thought life was). The wolf was showing how distorted and frightening those bonds were by appearing distorted and frightening. That is why the wolf never appeared as a protector to me because the wolf spirit was trying to show me that I wouldn’t find protection from conventional social bonds (like family, “a pack”) because of my surroundings/situations. He was teaching me that, trying to get me to understand, but it was very difficult because it was all I knew. I think the tiger appeared because of it’s show of independent strength, which I needed in order to save myself (not depend on a relationship of any sort to save me but depend on my own desire and will to be saved) by not listening to those in my social circle but by going alone and even fighting the misconceptions I grew up with (in other words, fighting off the “bad pack” and its training). I think the wolf, having knowledge of the importance of social roles, can determine between a bad and a good pack. I couldn’t see all this before but now that I understand the significance of the social understanding of the wolf and the wolf as a teacher, I think this might make sense. He was “scaring me” away from the bad (which was my over dependence and familiarity with abuse) so I would go in the right direction (inner strength, independence, not external strength, looking to others). When I was a tiger and chased away the bad pack, I was confronting a reality that was difficult for me to understand because it required the entire re-structuring and the questioning of everything that I was familiar with in life, as well as my desires (my desires for relationships; I had to chase away those desires and realize my own importance and purpose and significance). It had been difficult to accept that people I had depended upon for love had not given it to me and that my life hadn’t been entirely healthy. The tiger, a healer totem used to frighten away bad spirits and bad people, who is an independent/solitary animal, showed me the strength to attack the warped teachings of those around me that the wolf spirit had shown me that were bad by showing them as scary wolves instead of cooperative, supportive wolves. By chasing away the bad pack and not caring about their approval of me or depending on them, I was learning what the wolf wanted me to learn, with the help of tiger.
Definitely forgiveness is important because it severs the ties with those who hurt me. If I had been seeking revenge, it would have kept me tied to those bad people and working with them in a way, the same way seeking their approval kept me tied to them and working with them. I had to let go of resentment to realize independence, the importance of my own life and my own work instead of thinking I was worthless and only others could do something or only their paths meant anything, and learn to keep my distance, social emotional spiritual and physical distance. The tiger’s bond to water (purity and healing) and traits for healing from evil forced me to look at all this and avoid aggressiveness, which I, at first, thought the tiger totem was all about. It’s really not about aggressiveness per ce, though. It’s about seeing through the darkness into who people really are and healing from them and rejecting what is cruel and bad, which makes sense why the wolf, the teacher, social expert, would be involved, too. I really see the wolf in a different light now and I think I understand that he was trying to teach me to be afraid of what was bad for me (in other words, show me that it WAS bad), and show me that I could overcome it as well.
That was a long reply but please understand this conflict involving wolves and tigers has truly been a significant experience in my life, really important. It all started after I started meditating and praying the rosary several years ago, almost every day, and will continue to do so. I feel I have been guided by God and His creation (like how the gospels/saints who wrote them are represented by different animals: hawk, ox, lion, man) and have really been delivered/exorcised from evils, especially in the last few years when things got worse before they got better. I would like to add that I had the dream of the tiger forcing out the pack happened before I got ptsd. Getting ptsd is when I hit rock bottom, got so sick I almost died and had to quit school and stay in bed for almost a year. That time in bed gave me a lot of time to think and heal and realize all this, how important healing was, and it really gave my life an overhaul for the absolute better. It was like resetting my entire life. I feel reborn almost, I’m unrecognizable and have confidence. I kept trusting in God and all these things, even when everything was bad, and was led by them and it ended up better than I could have imagined life being.

  249. I’d like to add that all of these seeming conincidences between the presence of wolves and very destructive people in my life is what turned me onto animal spirits and make me believe in all animal totems in the first place. Because the connection between the wolf and these people was always so consistent, they all had the same traits. I don’t really understand this but I do believe in it because I have seen it over and over again.

  250. I’ve known a lot of people who weren’t wolves but who followed after the wolf. I have never seen anything positive longterm from this spirit. My exboyfriend was a wolf fan, he turned out to be a violent liar and gave me ptsd. He was a self-admitted control freak, he enjoyed manipulating everyone, all his kindness was insincere, he was really disturbed. My ex best friend kept a picture of two wolves devouring a carcass on her wall, she stopped having anything to do with me when she was done using me (she was technically a shark, tho; my exboyfriend was a fox). Our mutual friend was really into werewolves and she lied and gossiped about everyone and was really discouraging to everyone, and also stayed in abusive relationship because she thought she coyld manipulate her husband for things and not have to work ever (which she did). My best friend from childhood was way into werewolves as well, far more than the previously mentuoned woman. She was sadistic, close minded and tore me down so much that I stopped being creative for years. She had very negative spiritual presence and was also very controlling, in a very sick way, and she lied so much she seemed delusional. Very arrogant, all of these people. If i had to pick wolf traits i would say, arrogant, controlling, feeling entitled and being deceptive. A man at my mother’s workplace had the last name villalobos, wolf house, and when his wife had to be checked into an insane asylum, probably because of how he treated her, he had her deported because he wouldn’t be bothered with her. He was fired from work for lying about the work he did, misconduct, and looking at porn at work. I used to have nightmares as a child about wolves, before i knew any of these people (except my childhood friend) about these terrifying monsterish wolves that could move faster than any fleah and blood wolf could. I avoid the wolf spirit and those who tag along with it because this spirit and its followers have ruined my life so many times. I would ve interested in seeing these good traits in wolf people but i never have, and i take the presence of the wolf as a warning to leave: a warning that i have never regretted heeding.

    1. Hi Brenda you are talking to someone who has the wolf spirit. You have seen bad stuff but if you let your wolf teach you to that all that bad stuff can becaume good you will turn out like me i am like an wolf but human as well and its not that bad to be a wolf it has its bad times but at the end it will turn in to something good like you are fast and strong like one or you get a mate that you love so much like that guy you said you have known for a long time if you accept you wolf inside you you will be the one you are meant to be. have a nice day. From your Wolf friend Semi.

    2. Semi- I don’t think you were reading what I wrote /at all/. The guy I mentioned in my post was a wolf, but he was a violent, sociopath and narcissist, incapable of love, who left me with permanent post traumatic stress disorder because I was afraid he would kill or injure me, and he did many illegal things. he is NOT asomeone who is capable of being loving or being in a loving relationship.

    3. Hi I know how you feel I have a friend who has taken the wolf spirit animal. I have an owl but I’m taking on the wolf spirit but the good one well I think I am but anyway I know exactly how you feel Brenda

    4. Kat- Wow, you’ve seen this too? I’m glad you know what I mean. I know what you mean about the good wolf spirit, I can see many good traits in wolves in the wild, and I think that they must have them because ancient people bred them into dogs, and they are not as violent like hyenas (who are known to cannibalize even as puppies). I think even if I just see the wolf as a warning animal, or if it just warns me, then it is good. I wish I could understand better, why I have seen it as being negative instead of positive or how to have it be a more directly positive spirit in my life, but I think it is something that I will learn with time.
I wish you well and I hope maybe you post back here in the future and see if you have found a way to make good of the wolf spirit and maybe a way to determine the difference between one used for bad and one used for good, or post your experiences with it. I really love the owl spirit, I have an owl neighbor (a literal owl, the animal) who recently moved in (built a nest in my backyard, a big nest!) and I feel so blessed to hear his beautiful song if I work late at night. You are very fortune to have such a great spirit animal.
