Your greatest treasures are: simplicity, patience, and compassion.-Boston Terrier
Meaning, and Messages
In this case, Boston Terrier’s symbolism is reminding you that to be kind to others, you must work on exercising greater compassion for yourself. You may have spent your entire life trying to make others happy. However, once in a while, it pays to ask yourself if you have somehow overlooked your physical or psychological health. Boston Terrier’s meaning reminds you to be kind to yourself in small ways. This spirit animal encourages you to treat yourself to a relaxing vacation. Try a little yoga or meditation to ease your stress. Furthermore, Boston Terrier’s meaning encourages you to indulge in your favorite activity, whether this is reading, exercising, or simply walking in a natural setting. In time, you will see that when you feel calm and fulfilled, your motivation and ability to share yourself with others grows exponentially.
Additionally, the Boston Terrier symbolism points out that you may need to trust yourself more. In other words, go with your intuition when you encounter new people and situations. Therefore, you should not be afraid to choose the journey you instinctively know is right. Boston Terrier symbolism also indicates that when you are true to yourself, it is easier to have no regrets. It also eliminates the need to blame others when the results are not as you would have liked.

Totem, Spirit Animal
People with the Boston Terrier totem are amiable and family-oriented. Furthermore, home is where they long to be at all times. Folks with the Boston Terrier totem would prefer to do something mundane with friends and family rather than travel the world in search of adventure, alone. They tend to be most comfortable at home. These people are also very active and need to get their heart racing to calm down their nerves. They are playful and childlike at heart, though they are also profoundly loyal and sensitive to the suffering of others. Folks with this spirit animal totem make good friends. They are faithful family members whom others tend to love and cherish deeply.
Dream Interpretation
In general, a Boston Terrier dream is an indication that you need to be more daring and open to new people and experiences. In other words, one should never create a ‘closed’ list of loved ones. This dog reminds you that surprises are always around the corner and that the best come in the form of new friends. Expanding one’s social circle opens many new doors, perhaps to a new job, social circle, or hobby. It also enables you to accept help when needed and to have someone to lean on for support, or to listen to you in times of strife, or to help you with day-to-day tasks. Being with others also enables you to share laughter, which is often the best medicine.
Alternatively, a Boston Terrier dream is an omen that you will meet someone new in your life. This vision is reminding you to be trusting in nature unless you are proven otherwise.
The Boston Terrier comes at the end of this dream, so bear with me. Last night I was visited in a dream. I was standing in my home looking out the sliding doors at the rear of the house and saw a bunch of homeless people standing around a campfire beneath a highway overpass near the backyard. My home was an amalgamation of all the houses Judy and I have lived in for the past thirty plus years, but it’s definitely home. I’m the only one inside the house with the exception of my two dogs, Bri and Flynn. Suddenly, outside to the left is a crowd of people, very mean and ugly, beating a large white wolf. The white wolf isn’t fighting back, it’s wounded pretty badly. I open the sliding doors and yell at the crowd and they stop to look at me. The white wolf quickly limps his way to me and enters the home. Bri and Flynn start licking it’s wounds, and it looks at me with huge blue eyes. I reach above the refrigerator and pull out the milk bones. I toss one to Bri and Flynn, and then toss one to the white wolf. It eats it quickly, and gives me that canine look that says…”more.” So, I toss them a few more. By the time the white wolf is finished, he’s healed. It moves back to the sliding door and wants out. I open them and he steps out to be greeted by a black and white Boston Terrier pup. They nose each other, and then run past the homeless people beneath the underpass and disappear.
David, your dream could also belong on the wolf page. The character trait that is shared by the white wolf and the Boston Terrier is compassion. It is very good that you rescued the white wolf and fed it. The white wolf represents valor, hope, courage, compassion. The white wolf is your own intrinsic goodness. When you looked into its huge blue eyes, (blue is the spiritual realm) you were looking deep into your soul. Feed it often. Protect what is precious.
Boston Terrier came to me in my meditation this morning! Kind of random, but I’m being initiated as a shaman so I’ve been visited by many of the animals. The energy I got was very loving, and reassuring- I did feel kind of a “treat yourself” vibe. This post was so accurate, thanks again. 🙂
wow, this actually sums me up quite accurately, and I did the random one, and although none of these have crossed my physical path,or dream path it sums me up to a tee,i haven’t read the dream because i have not dreamt about these…. Thankyou spirit guide
Blessings and love for you
