-Prairie Dog

If Prairie Dog has scurried across your path;

Prairie Dog is reminding you that by participating in activities with your friends and family you are feeding your own sense of self worth and well being. Take the time to figure out why you have withdrawn yourself physically and emotionally and then address those parts of yourself. You deserve to be a vibrant part of your community and your input and participation is certainly desired by those around you. Know that you are wanted!

If Prairie Dog is your Animal Totem;

You have a powerful sense of community and are often deeply involved in organizing group events and philanthropic projects. You have a gift for bringing people together to work cooperatively and know how to get the best out of them. You flourish in social situations and love to express your affection to those around you. You tend to lean toward vegetarianism and tend to have a green thumb when it comes to growing things. Occasionally you will become a little too involved with those around you to the point of not giving them enough space to grow in their own way. Finding a way to balance this tendency requires you to retreat inward and be aware of your actions.

If Prairie Dog has come into your Dreams;

To see this rodent in your dream represents an underground community. The dream may be telling you to go against the masses and the norm. Alternatively it may signify that you will have to do some digging in order to find out what is really going on in your life right now. Whether it be emotional or physical digging there is something that needs to be closely looked at in order to get to the truth of the matter.

To see a Prairie Dog hugging or touching another Prairie Dog signifies that you have withdrawn yourself from your friends and family and that you need to make an effort to regain your sense of community.

Check it out— if you create a relationship with every aspect of yourself—thoughts and feelings –you’re bound to come to know and love your own little inner family/ community. You won’t have a need for anyone or anything outside yourself to feel worthy and well. I AM enough for me! As for knowing you’re wanted? How about acknowledging the other side of this too–notice when you’re NOT wanted. Seriously–because its a true delight to discover that if others don’t want me –that’s their business. I know I want me and that’s what matters.
