Mouse Meaning and Messages

In this case, Mouse symbolism is asking you to look at what is right in front of your eyes and then take action accordingly. Alternatively, Mouse meaning may also be reminding you not to neglect the trivial but necessary things in life. In other words, you may have become too focused on one or two activities. Thus, this spirit animal brings to light that you have been neglecting the opportunities that surround you. Mouse symbolism could also be letting you know that you are trying to do too many things at the same time.

Like the Inchworm, Mouse symbolism is also letting you know that to attain the big things in life; you sometimes have to stay focused on the little things. Therefore stay connected to the present moment.

Mouse Totem, Spirit Animal

People with the Mouse totem have a gift for paying attention to the minutest of details in everything they do. Like the Angelfish, they can also easily discern which aspects are the important ones and which ones do not need their attention. Folks with this spirit animal totem have a heightened awareness of their surroundings, which allows them to spot danger long before others around them. People with Mouse totem also tend to be rather timid or shy in times of stress. However, they recognize their timidity and compensate for it with their adaptability and determination.

Mouse Dream Interpretation

When you have a Mouse dream, it can indicate fear, timidness, insignificance, or a lack of assertiveness. In other words, you are experiencing feelings of inadequacy and concerns that you are not measuring up. The dream may be telling you that you are spending too much time hiding in the shadows of someone else. Alternatively, like the Boar, this mammal symbolizes minor irritations and annoyances. Perhaps you are letting petty problems or insignificant issues eat away at you.

To see a dead rodent in your dream implies that you are not letting minor issues bother you. You are not allowing your fears to get in the way of what you want. Alternatively, a dead Mouse dream indicates that there is something that you have ignored or neglected for too long.

If you dream that you kill or trap one of these rodents, it suggests that others are making a big deal out of specific minor issues in your life.

To dream that you or someone is eating one of these creatures indicates that something is nagging at your conscience. You need to get it off your chest.

When the rodent is white in your vision, it signifies that you are about to receive spiritual guidance in the form of a new direction in life. The spiritually indicated path will seem impossible. However, you will be able to accomplish the task if you stay focused and on track.

  1. Time between visits with my mother are often long. Each time I visit whether dead or alive, she is made aware of a mouse in the house. Each time she says she never even saw mouse in the house previously. What is the presence of the mouse saying.

  2. While cleaning our horse’s stall in the daylight, I noticed a head and front paws of a mouse watching me from between two wall boards. Then, I watched him climb down and carefully make his way to my feet! I gently lifted him with the manure pick and put him back to his tunnel. He did this three or four more times! He seemed curious, not at all scared. It was pretty wonderful. Any thoughts on symbolism?

  3. I have had two dreams recently where I had to be woken up because I was screaming and whimpering in my sleep. I have never done that before in my life, so I am thinking these dreams are significant.

In the first dream, there were squirrels in my kitchen and a baby squirrel fell in my tea.
In the second dream, mice were running in the bathroom and one fell in a vent.

Any insight at all is welcome.
    Thank you!

  4. I dreamt of pet mice, they had a nice little set up with a miniature bed. I peeked in at them and there were two asleep on the bed, white bellies up, paws in the air, sleeping contentedly, and I thought they were so cute!

  5. I was so happy to find some interpretation , but also people’s sharing. we all grow with every sharing , each story can help us to grow and understand more about our situation.
last night i saw white mouse, 2 to be exact and so cute, whem i looked at them , i felt such love and was jsut cuddling with one, another ran away. i was just looking at this sweetest mouse and it would change to a baby looking also as cuddled in my hand, just so adorable . i do not remember in my 40 years i habe ever seen mouses and was feeling such love to them, like they are my best friends. i saw some meanings to it such as good marriage , gain of something, but it felt much deeper to me then just this few prosperous things…any thoughts ? thank you in advance and everyone, happy and healthy 2020!!!

    1. Hey ! Can you give me an interpretation of my dream? About the white mice??
I saw that three white mice was trapped in the wooden box, which was filled with litter water. Two escaped immediately and another one was little weaker. So but it too was slow but gradually escaped from the wooden chest. Where as my hand was on the chest’s lid, as if, I was trying to let them go out, by holding it. I will appreciate, if you could help me make understand the meaning of it

  6. After an incident tonight, I run into this page that speaks of mouses, and i find many information interesting to the pursuit of my person and mental strength. Tonight, I ventured out of my basement to the kitchen with my dear friend and decided to obtain a delightful piece of chocolate german cakes. While also me grabbing a sacred glass of water from the fridge, I noticed in my perifferal vision a small face that peered from oven under. I scream. My friend asked what ails you Veetus and I reply that I FOUND a mouses under the oven. She scream as well. Although we were terrified of being eaten, we couold not deny the sacred taste of cake. As we ate, we thought of what this visvion could mean to our lifes. After reading this page, I do believe that we needed this vision due to our disconnect with deer nature and family. however, i dont like mouses, so we planned to kill it by chucking chocolate cake under the oven machine. we would place rat poiseon, but #1, it is mouse and not rat, i dont believe in discrimination. #2 i would die if i touched the poison because due to this inccident, my spirit animal is now a mouses. we r sure that this plan will work,, will update in morning. If this would bring us doom, please respond to our actions, we feel bad now for poor mouses who just wanted home to call.

  7. The place I have been staying has been mouse free for some time until the last month. There is only one, but he seems very curious about me. I will turn around sometimes and see him watching me from a corner, just looking at me. Another time, we saw eachother across a room and he ran towards me, stopping in the middle of the room again to study me. Just now, I was sitting @ my desk and I felt something warm and soft on my foot. I was a bit startled, so he didnt stay more than a few seconds, but he had clambered onto my foot, again sitting & looking up at me. Most unusual experience I’ve ever had with a wild animal.

  8. I found a White mouse at Work, and when everyone tried to kill it, i scooped it in a bucket and let it go in the woods across 4 lanes of traffic and a block behind a loves, 3 days later while doing an oil change on a Peterbilt i looked down and saw the same mouse at my feet, he got up on his hind legs and looked at me. From that point i put him in a brake shoe box and waited for my shift to end, stopped at the local walmart found a hamster home and bedding, looked for mouse food and picked up some fresh veggies, its now been two weeks, he was very small when i found him, and he’s already grown a bit, i handle him and he runs around my neck, has never bitten, and almost purs like a kitten, ive never had an experience like it. i have named him Shell Rotella, and im excited to have him as my little buddy =)

    1. Guildshadow,
That’s such a awesome story! If he is purring or clicking he is still quite young. When I found my Merlyn on the floorboard of a car her eyes & ears were still closed. Once they where open she started that purring noise. So cute! I actually learned to do it because it seemed to soothe her. Then I read they purr or click when they are happy! That means you’re little one definitely is happy with her new life with you 🙂 Merlyn stopped doing it when she was about 2 months old….I sure miss it lol! Merlyn has been with me for almost a year now & she’s my fuzzy little best friend. She is amazingly smart too! As you well know since yours made it back to you! I had no idea they were this smart. I call her & she will come out of her little house to hop in my hand, climb up my arm & runs inside a shirt. She hides in there & peeks out while I walk around. She likes me but not anyone else lol! She has this game she plays now where she comes to the gate on her cage & starts to get on my hand & jumps away & I chase her around the cage. If I catch her I tickle her side & she kinda wraps herself around my finger & bites me lol! Not hard just play bites. If I stop chasing her she comes over & either nibbles my fingernails or hops on my hand & back off. It’s hard to get a wild mouse to hold still but if I put her up to my check or my lips & make that purring clucking noise she will snuggle up to me. Crazy I never thought I’d fall in love with a darned mouse!! Haha! I fully believe she is my spirit animal. She came to me during a really difficult time in my life & remind me to get back up & never give up. Mice out in the wild struggle to survive every day….they cant give up. So I got back up, she’s a total joy in my boring life lol! Enjoy your furry little friend. Its a fun & rewarding experience ♡

    2. Love your story about Merlyn! What a sweet, loving friend you are to her. I hope things are better for you these days, sweetie. Many blessings.

  9. I had a highly unusual mouse dream last night. I dreamt that I looked in the mirror and saw something like a tail sticking directly out of my left check, near/below my eye/temple area. I didn’t know how something that was 2-3 inches long, stiff, and straight could be sticking out of my face without me knowing it. I pulled on it and it was bigger than just the tail. It appeared to be a mouse. I was panicked and I didn’t look directly at it. Rather, I just threw it down and walked away.

I’d love to hear feedback about what others think this means. I have no clue, and I’ve never had a dream like this before.

    TIA

  10. why i feel like mice is running on my body or on my bed whenever my sleep breaks but i see no dreams of mice ???

  11. Hi,

In my dream there were lots of mice/rats on the floor, my boyfriend asked me what we’re gonna do, i was happy about the situation and told him “what? Look at them, they’re so many!” and sit to pet some. Then he did the same. They weren’t afraid of us, they weren’t running when we tried to pet them. After some time I’ve seen a rather big hole in wall, some were there, too, I saw a white one with red eyes, grabbed it and said “look this one’s albino, why don’t you take this one as a pet? It’s lovely!”. He said it wasn’t an albino, it’s eyes weren’t red. I was suprised, i turned it’s face to see it properly but yes, it was brownish/yellowish. But when i was turning it I saw it’s eyes were red again, it was like holographic, behind the eyes they seemed red but the front they were different. So we petted some more then I woke up.
What would that mean? I’d love to know. I didn’t talk about or saw one in a long time.

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

  12. OTSINÓ:WEN, MOUSE – SPIRIT ANIMAL

This is my first time encountering Otsinó:wen, Mouse, as a Spirit Animal Tote Otsinó:wen m. My process is to read the many thoughts on each animal’s meaning and then to approach the Totem animals from what it stirs in my spirit. Mouse is said to represent attention to detail in that Mouse is always at work, always looking for something to do, even when that work serves no real purpose. We can all get caught up in that meaningless need to work. Our society and its mores is skewed to place our greatest value on hard work, even when that hard work has no meaning or purpose. We have to learn to recognize that play is a form of learning and that sometimes, just doing nothing is an opportunity to see the world around us as it really is. Otsinó:wen also speaks to me of how a small, seemingly fragile being can actually be incredibly strong and resilient. We are descended from small mammals, not very different than Otsinó:wen, which survived when the much larger animals could not. Otsinó:wen can fit into places that larger animals can not. She is resilient and determined. And she is strong in ways that are not obvious or easy to see. For me the message of Otsinó:wen, the message of Mouse, that speaks to me most clearly is that sometimes it is better to be small, flexible and still than to be large, loud and rigid in our ways. I hear you Mouse. I feel that part of me that is Otsinó:wen. And I shall go on my way today remembering that your way is the very reason that we are here.

  13. I was laying in bed and a mouse jumped on The bed then jumped towards me then went to the end if the bed and paused I swear it was staring at me for a moment and I felt a what are u doing vibe but I was so scared I jumped up I never in my life heard of a mouse jumping let alone on a person is this a sign of my spirit animal because when this happened I was dealing with so much and was having a mental break down..I’m 29 yrs old and I always struggled with my emotions and bottled up tragic or hurtful events that has happened to me so I never dealt with them and when they would come to mind I couldn’t tell myself how I felt about it or even why I felt how I did at the time of a event.. and being single with 3 kids one who has health issues and no help threw any of it.. and 9 months ago i lost special person in my life do to a something I shouldnt have done , fear of my mother dying in a recent horrible hurricane… at this point I was feeling so many emotions I never felt before it was the worst time of my life but the best time because I found myself .. I’m just trying to find out the meaning of this event and mouse

    1. Pretty much the same. Which makes me live the little field mouse more than ever tonight
I came across one in a tragic part of my childhood. I was nursing the field mouse in a time of, what I realise now, was a childhood meltdown. My brother accidently stood on him/her and killed my lil field mouse.
      I never forgot that moment.
Tonight walking home I rescued another field mouse
My thoughts were on, before i saw the nouse, what **** me up via father and how i was going to untangle myself from this abusive relation shop I now find myself in.
      History repeating
And I saw this lil mouse

  14. I was at work a few hours ago when I saw a mouse laying still. I got close and could still see it breathing. It’s still alive now.but barely. Any ideas as to what it could mean?

  15. I had a dream last night in which I was protecting mice and/or I was the only one to see them. What does protecting mice mean?

  16. I was sitting on the chair talking to my husband on the phone about how I figured out what to do, or rather what the secret was to making hundreds come true. What worked in the past and I realize the pattern and what I need to do to get us out of a particular Financial situation that we are in now. Out of the corner of my eye I saw what I thought was a mouse scurry from my living room to the kitchen it didn’t look exactly like a mouse but maybe a vole. I left the house and waited for my husband to get home and was gone all day. He came home and looked everywhere no sign it or any evidence it was ever here at all. I’m thinking maybe it was an illusion as in a distraction to get me out of the house instead of doing what I now realized I needed to do to get out of our situation which is actually really easy to do. Wondering if you have any insight? Thanks so much!

    1. Perhaps an emotional (water) childhood incident or one involving water, should be a small, dead issue. If not, ask yourself why you are still dwelling upon it. What is left for you to heal?

  17. a Mouse literally flew in my car thru the sun roof it was a baby and it was flat and rock hard what could that mean?

  18. God is always first and will remain first amen
THIS IS MY SECOND DREAM ABOUT A BABY MOUSE I CAN’T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW THIS HAPPEN TWICE I KNOW GOD IS TRYING TO TELL ME SOMETHING.

AND GOD WILL LET ME KNOW IF THERE’S DANGER OR TROUBLE COMING IN THIS DREAM THE BABY MOUSE AND RAT WERE BOTH ALIVE I DO KNOW PEOPLE WHO ARE IN LIVES OR WERE IN LIVES THEY ARE TRYING TO COME BACK TO YOU AND CAUSE YOU A DISASTER EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE DOING BAD THINGS BEHIND YOUR BACK AND NOW THEY ARE READY TO COME BACK IN YOUR LIFE TO CAUSE YOU TROUBLE THEY ARE NOT HAPPY IN THERE LIFE BECAUSE NOTHING ISN’T WORKING OUT FOR THEM.

SAY YOU HAD A FRIEND WHO ONLY CARED ABOUT YOU WHEN HIS GIRLFRIEND WASN’T AROUND AND TRYING TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL WANTED LIKE YOU ARE HIS GIRLFRIEND BUT WHEN HIS GIRLFRIEND COMES BACK HE FORGETS ABOUT YOU UNTIL SHE’S GONE AGAIN. THEN THINGS HEAT UP BETWEEN YOU AND THIS GUY.

YOU HAD A OTHER FRIEND WHO YOU THOUGHT SHE WAS A GOOD FRIEND UNTIL SHE WANTS WHAT YOU HAVE SO NOW FRIEND OF MINE WHO WAS IN MY LIFE SHE WOULD DYE HER HAIR TO MATCH MINE THEN SHE WOULD GET HER NAILS DONE JUST LIKE MINE SHE WOULD TRY TO MAKE MY BOYFRIEND LIKE HER INSTEAD AND SHE WENT TO HAVE THIS SURGERY TO LOSE WEIGHT THIS PERSON IS VERY SELFISH AND DON’T CARE ABOUT OTHERS FEELINGS AND ALL IT MATTERS IS THAT SHE TRIED TO BREAK US UP BUT WE ARE STILL STANDING THANK FATHER .

  19. I had a mouse get my attention. While I was reading in my room. The little guy was clicking at me to turn around. When I we made eye contact. I tried to grab him so I could take him outside. It didn’t scurry off but jumped in my bag and let him out. Could there be any meaning here? Could use some help.

  20. I am studying hard for an exam in 4 days which I have to do against my inner conviction because the gocernment changed the rules. Not being able to think I am walking about outdoors while learning and in the laast 3 days I have encountered a mouse each day.
    Is there a message I don’t get?

    1. The problem is not big as it seems, it is small as a mouse. Perhaps read about the significance of the mouse in relation to Ganesha, remover of obstacles. Either the obstacle was in your path to teach you something, or it was there so you could go around it and learn something along the way, at that particular place and time. Those are my feelings about what you said. Take from my words anything you may sense serves you, and leave what doesn’t. You know what’s right for you always. Blessings on your journeys!

    1. Toni, your post sparked a recollection.

I once belonged to a group and was quite involved with it. At that time I was also surrounded by grackles, a very social, gregarious and vocal bird, much like me. One of the leaders of the group came across a dead grackle and told me I came to mind and she was concerned for me. She was also quite shamanic and open to messages from Spirit delivered in forms from nature. I had just read a day or two before somewhere on this site that a dead animal could mean the end of something that animal signifies. I told the group leader it was a sign of something I was getting ready to announce – I was leaving the group, and it was good. I recognize now that it was a passing on for me into something better – new life and a higher, clearer focus than what I was focusing on there.

With that in mind, I ask you, Who or what does mouse represent? What comes to mind? And did something “pass”? Know that this passing is good, even if it did not seem so at the time, and there is new life available.

Blessings on all your journeys and passings! Higher and better things await you on your path. Enjoy!!!

  21. I’ve had two dresms on two different occasions in one dream there were three mice coming they were running so fast I couldn’t get away from them and one ran up my leg and ran towards my neck and it scared me so bad I woke up. I had this shoulder ri#eing frozen feeling when he ran up my body…. Then I had another dream today about one single mouse trying to come at me and I was able to get one of my kids to capture it and release it outside. They all are white. But they just sends chills up my spine bc they are unpredictable. They are liable to just run at u. Any suggestions on my dreams?

    1. Priestess Sekhmet

Yes, I understand your dream. Its time to face your fears. Summon the dream by asking that it return to you so you can face those mice. Dream time is actually training programs for the subconscious mind. What happens there plays out in your waking life. You’re avoiding something. The best solution is to summon the dream back and this time determine to make friends with the mice and see that there really is nothing to fear they are only running from your fear. When they sense you don’t fear them they wont run and scurry like that. They will be sweet and friendly. Follow up by facing everything you may have been avoiding in your waking life INCLUDING CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. Love you! 😛

  22. I had a dream with white mice. First I feel something weird inside my skin and started to press it because I suspect it was and animal and I was afraid it could start walking inside. I remember seeing 2 or 3. Then I saw like a hole cover with a bandage ( in my leg) and I started pushing what I had inside my skin through the hole. A white mouse came out inside a ball or placenta. I really don’t know what it was but then I started pushing through my forehead and another white mouse came out again inside of a placenta or ball.. I don’t remember anything else but showing somebody ( i dont remember who) what it was happening…

This is a very weird dream, can someone help me to understand the meaning of it..
    Thank you so much!
    Blessings…..

    1. Priestess Sekhmet

😛 Your dream interpretation is similar to the one I just referred to above accept the thing that you have been avoiding deep inside is actually being removed from you. Your fear or issues you were avoiding became apart of you on a cellular level. It had a life of its own but also lived as part of you. Once it is removed from deep inside you and you can see it for what it is…kinda disgusting, you will never have to fear it again.

  23. I was with my girlfriend Nov. 10 2016 we were on our way to the lake and I saw 3 mice in 3 different locations in 3 different parts of town in less then an hr what does that mean

  24. I have been living in a very old building for about 4 years. About a month and a half ago I moved into a bigger apartment within the building. Aside from one single mouse, that I was able to trap and release, about six months ago in the old apartment, I have never had any problems. About a week and a half ago, I saw a mouse in my new apartment. After that, it became a nightmare, mice constantly in the apartment for 7 days straight. I was trapping at least one a day. I decided I couldn’t live there anymore and was able to secure a new apartment in a different building within a day. I’ve been moving out these past few days with absolutely no mice activity. It’s as though I made the decision to leave and their work is done. And believe me, I tried everything to rid them in those 7days. Traps, poison, peppermint, aluminium foil, steel wool, etc. They were relentless. I’d love to have some insight on this crazy matter! Please and thank you!

  25. Elizabeth Laduron

I’ve had a mouse in my washing machine. The washing machine was closed and had no idea how it got there. It was almost as if it was put there deliberately but no one would own up to it. I didn’t think a message was being delivered until I saw another one at work…..someone please help.

    1. I think it just mean to pay attention to daily tasks. Especially showing up in the washing machine and at work indicates that for me.

  26. What if the mouse in your dream is big, ugly, and scary? What could that mean? Why dream of things like that at the very time you when you are looking for more peaceful things?Any insight?Thank you in advance.

    1. I think it is just a sign of fears about the little things in your life growing out of control. Remember, it’s just about your fears of these things, not thecthings themselves.

  27. Hi I have a mouse in my apartment and it keeps making itself visable. It walks into the kitchen when I am in there walks by hall way when I am walking down it. Goes down hallway and right into my room. Keeps trying to sit by my bed. One time I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and it ran into the bathroom and walked right over my feet. Last night I went to the bathroom and when I came back it was right by my bed. He’s a cute little guy but it keeps scaring me when I find him where ever I go and it definitely is the same mouse. I don’t want to hurt him, may like to keep him as a pet in a keeper. My mom keeps telling him to go away. She doesn’t like having him in the house. Do you think there is a special reason why he is here? What is he trying to teach me? Thanks in advance. I really need some advice cause this is really on my mind

  28. Saturday night I spotted a mouse in the street as I drove by. I thought to myself, “Is that a leaf, or a mouse? I turned around and drove slowly past it. Sure enough, it was a tiny brown mouse in a hunched up position. It looked sick. I grabbed an old cloth, picked it up, and drove home. I really thought it was going to die as it was so weak, did not squirm at all, and eyes were closed with what looked like labored breathing. I gave it some water from a dropper, and a small piece of bread. I also added an antibiotic herb to the water. Within a couple of hours, the mouse was bright eyed, and really active, yet tame enough to come smell my hand. The next morning, I was shocked to find the mouse was no longer in the box I put it in with a cover, and on top of a high table. I texted my roommate, and he said that when he left for work, a neighbor asked him if he had ever seen any mice in the building while she had her door open hoping the one in her apt would leave. For some reason, he didn’t think the mouse she was trying to get out of her apt. was the same one I had. I feel so bad that I saved this mouse from getting crushed in the street, and now it is loose in my building with people who will probably try to kill it. This feels horrible. I can’t figure out what this whole experience could mean, if anything. It feels like whatever I do is pointless.

  29. Have a mouse/ mice in my car. I’ve finally resorted to poison and it/ they are still there!
Can you please help me learn the lesson it/ they are teaching me?

  30. I traveled from Colorado to Mexico for a month long stay and the night of my arrival I had this dream about a tiny mouse:

“It seems there was a little creature living in my home; whatever it was it was very tiny and very young. At first I thought it was a small dog, but then I realized the little creature was not a dog after all and that made me fearful that my dog might try to harm it and so I was wary and fearful for the little thing. Then I saw the little guy, he was so tiny. My little cairn dog was lying on top of a chair or on a high stool. She was lying there kind of in a position of a neat little oblong shape, just sleeping peacefully. My tiny little creature didn’t run away from her but instead ran right up to her and jumped on her back where he settled in comfortably, sleeping there right on top of my dog.
Later I was feeding the little guy. It turned out that he was a tiny, tiny little mouse with a darling little cute face and big round ears. I found a small bowl and mixed milk and cream in it and fed this to the little mouse with a dropper. The last scene I recall was of me holding the partially filled dropper out to the little mouse as he was sitting on the table. He sat there sucking on the end of the dropper as I held it down to him, his cute little hands reaching up as he gulped down the nourishing milk. He was so cute and so sweet. Everything he did was just adorable.

I saw a mouse in my bedroom run from out of my closet to under my bed.
    My cat watched it.
I had to go out when I came home a few hours later it was in the toilet floating.
I had to flush it, he look dead.
How he got there I do not know on the second floor bedroom and bathroom.
    No food up there.

But what is even stranger is
I had a first date from OUR TIME last night and his name was MICKEY.

Was that strange? Is there a connection or a sign?

RE; Your temerity does not go unrecognized by yourself however and is often compensated for by your adaptability and determination.

Temerity doesnt mean timidity – it means the opposite: boldness and audacity. I suspect you meant to write timidity here instead?

    1. Cats are independent, hunters and mice are vulnerable to them.
You are either to be careful of not being too strong and independent around a person near you… Or you need to beware of someone overpowering you…

If this does not make sense to you… Then perhaps see this event as a tiny gift from a strong source.. See what happens in the next few days

  33. I spend a lot of time in the garden appreciating nature. Just sitting and listening. Sometimes with music and sometimes with silence. Last summer I put out leftover seeded bread for the birds. This day a mouse came out and took a few pieces and scurried away. I kept very still the mouse came back out, picked up a piece of bread came onto the grass near where I was sat and left the bread. I couldn’t belive it! Then the mouse picked up another piece and did the same thing. The mouse went a safe distance from me and sat there facing me. I slowly got up picked up the bread and thanked the mouse. The mouse turned away and went back. I felt like a really special thing had happened and started to leave sunflower seeds near where the mouse would come into the garden. Any interpretations of this or similar experiences?

  34. I had some mice or a mouse come into my room at night and steal 33 rose quartz beads from a mala that I have in my meditation corner. I am wondering if you have any insight. thank you 🙂

    1. 33 is traditional symbol of the human because we have 33 vertebrae. Meditation often focuses on raising energy up the 33 vertebrae to the brain, creating enlightenment. If the mouse steals 33 beads, and they are made of rose quartz (color symbolizing unconditional love)– could you be trying too hard? Worrying about the details? The theft of the beads happens at night when you are asleep, things are dark, which suggests this tendency is operating out of your subconscious. You sound like a sincere lover of spirit (rose quartz, meditation corner). Perhaps Mouse is suggesting that focusing on the step by step details of how you get to enlightenment are stealing your bliss? When the beads are gone, what are you left with? You! What if you let go of the details of your quest for enlightenment and just let yourself be?

  35. have a mouse appeared in my bedroom – and my cat virtually lives in bedroom too – am worried she will kill it – dont know how to get it out without hurting it – what is the meaning here I wonder ?

  36. Whilst cycling along the road today i saw a little mouse helplessly trying to get back up the kerb amid heavy traffic and back to his bush. I jumped off my bike to the honks of cars and a pedestrian shouting “that was a bit violent” as it fell on the road. Then, after a little frantic chasing i caught the little fella with my hands and sent him home. “…Oh thats lovely” continued the pedestrian, “although i do hate them”

I have quit my job recently, and am trying to start my own business working every hour god sends, the stress of this and other things became too much for me over a month or 2 ago…started drinking too much again… i’ve been arguing with my wife, hating everyone at work, but this little mouse….i gave up everything to ave it.

    1. I had almost the same situation today. A little mouse was stuck in a large intersection bouncing about trying to get to the curb. I was unable to stop my car to help it but I tried to send it messages on which direction to go. Last I saw it was headed that way. I was prompted to look up mouse totem and I’m trying to do to much too. Time for us to slow it down…smell the roses as they say. Hope your business is going well.

  37. I was in the barn and saw 2 mice dashing around. Then they ran over to my feet and one ran up my pant leg. I started stomping and crying out for help from my husband. They disappeared. Was there a meaning in all that? Also the past couple of days I have had a couple of times when a fly was being very pesty and would even land on my nose. In fact there is one trying to get my attention as I am typing. It is so annoying! Are they trying to get my attention and what message is there?

    1. Fly reminds you to be tenacious, and mouse reminds you to not overlook the small details when viewing the big picture.

  38. hello.

i would like to ask about a series of dreams that i have. The first one was with a dark and big rat infestation in the street of my dream. i was trying to catch one with a trap but they were too fast. The second involved a mouse infestation . My house was infested with hundreds of tiny grey gerbils , and i was trying to get rid of them because they were out of control. to be hones, I like gerbils, i have one as a pet and i love her. i would like to know what those dreams mean.

    thank you.
